Called and asked if they take rugs. Told them it was 10x10 and the women said yes, they did take that size. Drove it a half hour to be told by the folks at the donation area that they don't take rugs that size. Told them I spoke to someone who told me that take that size and they said, "sorry, they were wrong". Second time this has happened; first time was with furniture. Said they were accepting furniture and drove it over to be told no they were not. read more

Was here tonight oct 9 internet said store was open to 9 sign on door said open to 8 and doors were locked at 7:52. When i asked why they had a sign that said open to 8 the man child just kept apologizing. read more

I like shopping here! I mostly get home stuff but occasionally buy clothes and shoes. I never leave empty handed.

Reasonable prices and big selection. I have donated things too. There are always people to help unload the car!

One thing I cant stand is when somebody disrespects my family especially when it is right in front of me. My dad and I go into this goodwill store we literally just walked to the back of the store and a worker comes up to my dad and says "did you knock these pictures down?" He said no (because he didnt ) then the guy proceeded to be sarcastic and rude saying oh I guess they just fell over by themselves then huh? You know you need to pay for these since you knocked them down. Here is where I step in and say "uhm you asked him a question and he answered. Wth is with the accusations. " the guy then was following us all over the store like we needed to be babysat I just took my daughter and went to the car I was about to go off on that guy. #EndRant #DontAskAQuestionIfYourMindIsAlreadyMadeUp #PeopleAreTheWorst #WontBeSpendingMyMoneyHere Ps. My father is the sweetest person and would go out of his way to help someone. So for a WORKER at that to be blatantly rude to him made me VERY angry. PPS. I love a thrift store. No matter the city, time, day, or where I'm heading if I cross paths with one I'm bound to stop. Looking to kill some time during the rain while we were heading to an outdoor destination we found this Goodwill nearby. Although I was just looking to find shelter from the elements I'm so glad we stopped! I found some great pieces that quickly became favorites. Where do I start? My bounty included; a vintage bracelet, like new pair of muck boots, wedge heels with a brooch accent that was new with tags, slimming designer skinny jeans, and a mall store top all for around $21!!!! Love me some bargains! The store itself was typical of the organization of a Goodwill. Loosely organized by size (not perfect by any means). Housewares by color. It was laid out nicely and unlike other Goodwill locations didn't feel cramped. I was surprised to find coats basically one price $9 and some change regardless if it was a Kmart special or a Michael Kors leather jacket (yep, found one but not my size). In fact there were quite a few higher end brands thrown in with less expensive ones, all for the same price. I found several MK pieces, more here than any other Goodwill. The morning of my visit it was just me and two male employees. I was able to use the dressing room with no limit or wait. The floor was dirty, as was the dressing room in that it really needed swept and vacuumed. The display counter was also not very appealing. With old knick knacks thrown in with a sparse jewelry selection, along with sunglasses and other what-nots, there was room for improvement. A bonus was the location in a strip mall with ample parking and other places to shop and dine nearby. Consider me a fan! read more

I received the worst service from the store manager Tiffany at the Bethlehem pike location in Pennsylvania. I entered the store mid morning, noticing the color of the week was yellow. After hours of shopping, I had a cart full of clothes. At checkout they tell me the color is purple. When I told them it was yellow when I came in, they all but called me a liar. "Yellow was last weeks color," they said. How would I know that unless it was in fact posted. No solution was offered. The manager wasn't there so I called the next day to speak to her. She also all but called me a liar. It couldn't have been her rude employees that made the mistake. I offered solutions, such as the senior discount or ringing the yellow products up as purple. Her response was she couldn't give me discounts I wasn't eligible for. When I stated that if this was they way they did business, I wouldn't shop with them. Her response was " you are welcome to shop as you please." Then she hung up. Wow she is running a store and in charge of customer service. I'm sad to say my experience was great at first. A deaf lady helped my while I was shopping, she was very polite. There was a man who was genuinely happy to be working there. He greeted everyone, asked them to have fun shopping. I was very disappointed with the response of the manager on duty and the GM. It was a very pleasant environment. I'm sad that I will have to find another thrift store to shop at. read more

I haven't been into a thrift store in about a year, and had the urge today. 'Goodwill' was the first name that popped into mind and this was showing as the closest to my house in Washington, NJ, and since it was right off of 22 I figured it was an easy drive. The location is actually part of a strip-mall / shopping center, near the Walmart in Bethlehem. It's a LOT bigger inside than it looks out, with huge dedicated sections for kid's, men, and women, as well as several bookshelves full of both hardcovers and paperbacks, some decent furniture, and many half-aisles with housewares and the like. I was shopping for summer clothes, and was thrilled that things were mostly sorted by color and type (although not really by size). I can get very easily frustrated when clothes shopping, so this is a HUGE bonus in my books. There were a decent amount of brand-name items in great shape in the dress section, like Nine West and Loft. Also lots of more bohemian, hippy-like thrifty items that I love so dearly. There are two changing rooms, maybe three, and they're a decent size. I made two visits to the dressing room and the 'Discard' rack was emptied each time - staff does a great job there. I ended up with about 6 items, and was happy to see that they sell 10% discount cards (valid for one year) at the cash for $4.50. Naturally I bought one - it paid for itself right there. :) After I paid I also noticed a display glass on the other side of the cash with some nice sunglasses and jewelry. I wish I didn't miss that beforehand. Bathroom is very clean and large - it's way in the back right-hand side of the store, by the racks of books. Staff was nice. I was really happy, and will definitely be returning. :) read more

I pulled up on Sunday 11/4 just after it opened and there were a few cars already waiting to drop off. I got out of my car and was immediately greeted by one worker who told me he'd be right with me(he was already unloading someone's car). A second employee then came out and said hello and he'd be right with me (he was helping with another drop off). The first guy finished with his customer and came right to me and started unloading my car. In the meantime a third employee said hello and asked if I needed anything. I was so pleased by their upbeat and friendly attitudes! Great Job!! read more

I just dropped off a few items at this location and I'm honestly appalled that they are representing goodwill in such an unprofessional way. First of all, there is no separate room or staff member to collect the donations. When I asked a staff member where I could put my donations he rudely said to me "right over there." For someone working at a goodwill you think they would represent the company better. But this location just looked like it was being run like an Arby's!! I applaud goodwill's mission but good management and professionalism is lacking at this location. It's like they don't even care about the cause and just are there to carry on without a care in the world. This is sad. read more

I just dropped some household items off at the Bethlehem, PA location and your employees could use some customer service training. There were others ahead of me, so I began to unload the car, only to hear an employee scream, "YOU HAVE TO WAIT TO BE HELPED!" A simple "Ma'am, I'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but I work in retail, and I would be fired if I talked to people that way. Needless to say, I won't bother donating to Goodwill in the future. read more

This store is huge, clean, and has awesome customer service. In addition to being really friendly, everyone working there was great, from helping us locate things to helping us figure out how to load our new wingback chair into our little sedan. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and fun! Exceptional store. read more
