First time here after hearing good things from a friend, so expectations were cautiously optimistic…read moreand overall, this place delivered... with a few caveats. Let's start with the good stuff. This store is absolutely massive. And the carts? Chef's kiss. Smooth, solid, high-quality carts that roll like butter. Think Target carts, not the janky, squeaky chaos you usually get at thrift stores. I appreciated that more than I expected to. Prices were mostly average. Not amazing, not outrageous. Vans were around $14.99, which isn't great but also not the worst I've seen lately. Home goods weren't huge, but the section was decent and worth a look. I didn't find any jaw-dropping designer labels, but I did find some solid pieces for myself, so it wasn't a wasted trip. Bonus points because they were running orange tags at 75% off, which definitely helped soften the pricing sting. Would I come back? Yes, if I'm already in the area. Would I make a 45-minute drive just for this store again? Probably not. Overall, CommunityAid Temple is clean, well-organized, easy to shop, and way less stressful than a lot of thrift stores. Not a holy grail, but a solid stop that's worth checking out especially during tag sales.

I just drove from Colorado to Pennsylvania on all back roads. Stopped at every thrift store GPS…read moretook me. 90% were non-profits, 80% were volunteer clerks, 50% marked electric items marked "tested" and the once when asked, "Does this work?" The answer was, " There is an outlet, please try it." Or "If it doesn't, bring it back we will give you credit for it. No refunds." This is by far the WORST thrift store in over 1000 miles! It is a for profit store. The help is paid. No appliances, lamps and electric items are not tested. They offer an outlet, but if it doesn't work at home there is no exchange, no credit, just a point at the sign "All sales final." I am sorry, every business should have a customer service. Listen to your customers and come to an agreement. Not just a sign, ALL SALES FINAL. Discussion Over! So as I was ending this review, a comment underneath is this statement... This review is looking pretty epic! Nice. Funny, I truly wanted this to be a happy ending. But that wasn't it!!!

I was expecting more HomeGoods toys and other items. It is primarily clothing, but their prices are really good on their purses and accessories and also their clothes I found a couple of cute things that I bought one was a beautiful white top with sequined sleeves for just 3.99 brand new. I also picked up some beautiful orange ornaments that are a porcelain from the Bradford exchange, which I intend to resell. I thought that Help was very friendly. The lady who assisted at the register was very kind and I mentioned it was my first time in the store and I told her I would be back. I'm not sure that I would drive all the way out here just to go here, but if I'm in the area, I would most certainly stop by. I didn't really look through all the clothes, but everything looked very nice and clean and arranged well.
