Dillards is ok if you are desperate. It has become worse recently. I noticed that the designer…read moresection that they had has now made way to even more cheesy clothing that looks like what grandmas wear or what highschoolers think is sexy for a prom (think acrylics, garish colors and glitter - uh. Very disappointing, to top this off on my recent visit the usual attendants that are normally there and ask you if you want to start a dressing room were replaced. First I had piles of work clothes I thought might work on my arm and noone was around to take them and put them in a dressing room - I then just went into the dressing room and noone was ever there. I left all clothes in there. (they were badly cut). Then after I came out and continued browsing because the clothing was awful, the lady who suddenly appeared, asked me 4 times within 15 minutes if I needed anything, I got really annoyed, I said 3 times "I am just browsing thanks!". Then I went to the bra section and the same thing happened - the women there talked to me and said twice, "can I help you with anything? DO you know how these work?" I know she was probably just trying so hard to help- but it made me feel uncomfortable, I know bras and straps and all the stuff - if I need help, I will ask! I felt so uncomfortable, I wanted to leave. They should hire a buyer who can order fun clothing for the stor e- there are many young professionals in this town who came from big cities, or people who are fit and in their 30's who need professional clothing that is not too cheesy and old fashioned and not teen clothing either. Some younger designers maybe. They should train their staff and maybe do some preofessional development - go to a conference for department store managers / buyers - and get with the times when it comes to department store layout, design, ordering everything. find some new suppliers with better clothing. Or go to see other department stores in Denver and get some ideas! Please! Grow with this town and stop being stuck in time. And tell your assistants to offer e dressing room and say "if you need anything let me know" - that' s all.

I am grateful to have anchor stores in Manhattan's mall. The staff is friendly. It's not the most…read moreupdated decor wise, but we have always been able to find clothing for our kids as needed on sale. It is pricier than old navy/target, but when we needed clothes for a funeral and a music concert, we were able to find what we needed there when those types of clothing items weren't available elsewhere. I have been able to find shoes, though the kid's shoe department could use a bit more selections. We have also had success in the men's section.

This is a wider availability JcPenny's that I've been to, and it is a little unorganized, great…read moresales, but very understaffed. The unorganization does not does not just include the clothes being everywhere (I'll get to that later), the workers aren't given official work clothes, they're just told to wear red, so if you come in with red be prepared to be bombarded with questions! Ok so the clothes are mostly on sale so they're everywhere and racks upon racks of random clothes everywhere. This is everywhere in the store so beware. The sales at this store are phenomenal and really are great. They have deals on name brand such as Nike and others. If you're shopping for girl clothes they will have amazing sales and you should head there as soon as possible. They are seriously understaffed and the lines just get longer and longer, and with the great sales they have to be more people!

If you are looking for a professional haircut this is not your place. My son and I both got…read moreterrible haircuts. His looked like a girls bob/bowl cut. There was such a language barrier with my son's stylist he couldn't understand what she was saying. My son said her three inch finger nails hurt and when we left he had a visible scratch on his face. I showed my stylist pictures so she understood what I expected. My layers didn't make sense and are blunt, cut straight across, no blending. They charge extra to dry and style! How are we supposed to know how it looks? My stylist was very insecure and did not seem confident in cutting my hair. Scary. I saw in other reviews people mentioned rude stylists. I did notice one stylist talking very loudly and just not being professional. In general the vibes were terrible. Go somewhere else and save yourself the heartache. I've never had a bad haircut at Platinum & Co. and I'll be going back. I only tried a new place because my stylist left there.
