Got here at 8:25 am got to the fitting rooms around 8:45 waited for ever for someone to come count my mothers items but they were following us the whole time? Lady came rudely no good morning until my mother said it she than still opened the door for her off coworker who she was clearly having a conversation with instead of being in the fitting room lady was all the way by the bags in the front. It appears the entire staff following us was gone when we needed them in the fitting room.I realized why I don't come to this Ross didn't get a your welcome or hello from their lost prevention yet alone anyone else in the store but they followed but never said hello got to the point I said hello to see maybe catch the memo but didn't.We got about 5 items my mom got two I guess we looked so suspicious with my chihuahua that they felt we were stealing bcos why else would we be followed funny stuff was when I was shopping and saw tons of alarms on a sweater by the kids department if they'd be wasting time following grandmas & ppl with their dogs they'd MAYBE just MAYBE catch the person who's actually stealing the place was too overwhelming with stuff The isles were way too small. Ross In Jackson Indio is the reason why I prefer to shop on line. On the mic associates encourage customers to use self checkouts, however loss prevention employee will stare you down as your using them. Today loss prevention employee asked to see my receipt after I scanned my items and I said no because she saw me scan every item that's how close she was too me. she continue to say it's "store policy", said no again and loss prevention employee tells me that in the future if I don't want to show my receipt I need to pay with the cashiers. Customer service in Ross is dead. Every person that walks in there associates treat as thieves not as customers. read more

I don't know how they do it but they do! Prices here are way and way less that even marshals. Check out this reebok shoes! Just 29$! I think this is an amazingly great deal. The best thing that in this store I always find what I like and in my size. Their swimming shorts collection is much more extensive than in any beach city. read more

There is a reason why this store has so many bad reviews because it really is that bad. No, really! I had gone to this Ross about a year ago and found a few good items for my home. I thought that I would have the same experience this time around and all I got from the store was that I will not be shopping at Ross anymore. The store is a mess, the lines are long, their inventory is low and their customer service is poor. I bought a few large items and they did not even have bags at the store. I asked the gal to unlock my cart so I can load my items into my car and she said that their loss prevention does not allow the carts to leave the store. Needless to say there were several cars illegally parked in front of the store to load their items. The Loss Prevention girl looked annoyed when I asked her to watch my items I just purchased so I can go run and get my car. If this store is not closing soon it absolutely should close. Just left this indio ross store feeling like a criminal a few hours ago. I grabbed two sweaters which proceeded to purchase as I was about to pay the cashier grabs the price tags from the sweaters and yanks them off telling me that those were not the correct price tags and that the sweaters were certainly worth more money. Apparently she's a fashion marketing expert (sarcasm) . She offered me for someone to double check the prices but I was pissed and embarrassed as there was other customers around us so I said no and left. Maybe you should have verified first then yank the tags off if not the correct price. I'm gonna cut the bull**** I felt she thought that I purposely changed the tags myself to save money. Great Prices, Great Stuff! The store is neat most of the time except when the customers allow their kids to run all over the store unsupervised. This store is not a babysitting service. Even when employees announce for parents to watch their kids and that running around and opening packages are not allowed -parents still allow it, they even see their kids drop clothes and toys on the floor. Wait times are quick when there's at least two cashiers even if there's a long line. Best times to find stocked up shelves are after 4pm. I like to search the clearance section first because I find a lot of good stuff. Some clothes ends up being faulty (it ripped on the first wash!) but that's rare, mostly everything is good quality. The new manager, James is really nice and helpful and other employees too. read more

Worst Ross ever!! I have never felt so humiliated in my life just for a purse that i wanted to buy. As soon as i came in and went straight to the purses and backpacks the security guard was on me and when i was looking and decided to buy the security guard told i couldn't just because it's a Michael Kors i don't care for the purse to much or if it was expensive or not but you don't come to me and tell me i can't buy i have bought more expensive purses and backpacks to be bothered by one that is $60. I've had to avoid shopping in places like Ross because they do mot have electric carts. Today I had a wheelchair, and was excited to go inside. As soon as I got past the front door, there were a LOT of people waiting to check out. Pretty off putting. What was worse was the condition of this store. i mean, what the HELL mommy and daddy. Do you let your kids throw their crap all over the house? Yes? Oh, OK. WHY ALLOW THEM TO THROW TOYS THAT ARE NOT PAID FOR OOWN AND STREWED ALL OVER THE STORE!! I mean, come on PEOPLE! I have never wanted to yelp a store so bad. That store is a complete shit show. Dirty, no selection, the employees are rude... and I don't know about you but I definitely don't think it's appropriate to be treated like absolute shit especially in the dressing room. I felt like a complete criminal when the girl that worked in the dressing room not only counted everything when I was going in and thoroughly looked up and down each article that I was bringing in a dressing room. La Quinta Ross makes this Ross look like Macy's so yes I will not be going there anytime in the near future if it were the last store standing on the block. Limited items at this location. Clothing racks were bare! No selection in dresses, tops, shoes, or purses.

Unless you get to the store first thing when they open in the morning, it is a mess. The shoe racks are always disorganized and very little to choose from in larger size shoes. It is a hit and miss going here - I have had better luck at other Ross stores in the valley. read more

This store is always a mess. There's always kids running around unattended. If you ask an employee a question, they usually won't know the answer. The cashiers are horrible.
