It's a sad day when someone can fall and actually bleed on the concrete right in front of the doors and not one person came out to see if they could help me. Since they didn't care that I bled outside I walked around inside and again no one even said "hey! You're bleeding". I made sure not to get blood on anything cause that would have been wrong on my part. Anyway, I asked the dressing room attendant if there was a restroom I could use to clean myself up cause I fell and hurt myself. His only question was did I fall inside or outside the store. That's why I gave the low review..... and the selection isn't great. Anyway, it was just a bad experience. I'm sad about the people who passed me sitting on the ground not concerned either. I don't know if they thought I was homeless or what but that's a pretty bad way to treat a homeless person. I haven't been in a Ross since before Covid and I missed it. I usually have good luck in California stores. We stayed in this area one more night so I was able to shop. I was happy to see isles were wider instead of so cramped at other stores. They had so many clothes on the rack you could hardly move the clothes to see them. The dressing room was open, you put your items on a rack and count them and get your own number. The employee stands back with a mask, that part was good. I decided on 5 things and went up to pay. The employee ringing me up was busy talking to another employee. Not the best customer service. I get back to the room take everything out of the bag and one item is missing. I only got 5 things how can you not put one item in? I was not to happy because we were in for the night. When I called the store they found the item and let me know they were open till 11 pm and I can pick it up. They are open 8 am-11pm read more

Selection is okay but if you are coming here, plan to spend 20+ minutes in line. This store is seriously understaffed. One time the line went to the back of the store!!! Likely they don't care as there's no competition other than one TJ maxx. read more

I've only been in here a couple of times and it's an okay store. I don't shop in Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Tuesday morning Etc very often unless I need something specific that I can't find elsewhere. Sometimes I find fun things in the food section here like specialty coffees or more reasonably priced health food type items. Today I got a small box of organic tea bags and some organic cacao + a mixing glass with a lavender top that you can shake up protein shakes Etc in. Total spent about $11. I didn't find the item I was actually looking for but I knew it was a long shot. The store seemed reasonably organized although I'm sure it looks worse during heavy shopping times. I didn't need any help so I can't speak on the employees. read more

I walked in a with a smoothie to find my teammates. I was welcomed but then told there are no drinks allowed. I had to leave since I had no where to go with my drink (obviously not trashing it as I just paid for it). There is no sign on the windows, doors, or inside; nor a policy I can find that states the no drink rule. I don't go to Ross anyways because every single store looks like a thrift store with how they stock it. Not a fan. read more

The managers are not good at making schedules for the new hires.I understand that the computer takes care of that but it takes about 3 weeks for the computer to do the new hires.It sucks when my daughter has to keep calling to see when she works and she doesn't get a reply.very I responsible people and unprofessional. read more

Ross had a lot of great clothes and home goods for sale at this location. The store was decently priced and semi-organized. I found two tops, both priced around $10, and a dress for $15. This was a great and productive stop! I would definitely stop by again next time we are in Amarillo! read more

I know that Ross and TJ Maxx get compared a lot but I feel like there is absolutely no comparison in Amarillo. While Ross does have a very wide selection of not only clothing but home decor, small furniture and kitchen essentials, I feel like it is always very chaotic. This store is normally disorganized with things out of place everywhere and even just general disarray. It makes it very hard to find something that you are looking for and even harder to just browse and let Ross tell you what you need as stores of this nature typically do just that. There are also very few employees to number of customers I have seen there on my visits and they don't ever seem to want to be there. It feels like they need an overhaul when it comes to their staff which would fix most of the problems. read more

Went and bought some jeans. Went to the dressing room and came out with two items. I forgot the hangers and the dressing room lady rudely said "where are the hangers". I smiled and went to get the hangers. As I gave them to her, she asked if I was taking both, I said no just one. As I was walking away she mumbled something, I asked what was that? She said "next time don't forget the hangers" very loudly. I told her if that is a policy you should have told me. Rudest person I have ever met. Sorry I didn't bring back you 30 cent hangers. I visited this store again today. I have always enjoyed shopping here and I have always had good luck at finding what I need/want. Today was no exception in that regard. However I did have a huge disappointment when I was ready to leave. I had purchased well over $100 worth of merchandise, mostly large items, including some patio decor, a large lantern to go on my mantle, a large faux fur rug, and bunch of other items. They were out of large sacks, but I told the girl not to worry about it, I didn't need bags for the metal yard ornaments, and I could manage the rug and the large lantern without a bag. But...when I got to the door, I went to take my cart outside and a rather large woman, who I am guessing was some sort of manager, yelled at me! "YOU CANNOT TAKE THAT CART OUTSIDE!" She did not offer help or anything but was insistent (in a very scrooge-like manner) that I could not remove the cart from the store. I told her that I would return it, and explained about the large items and no bag, but she told me NO. I then asked if someone could help me take my purchases out, and she said, "NO, YOU CAN LEAVE THEM THERE AND PULL YOUR CAR UP HERE TO LOAD THEM"....me thinks not! What a piece of work she is! I would hate to have to work for her. Frustrated, I told her that was a horrible policy and that I would not be back to shop there! So much for customer service!
