The employees were very friendly both times I was here. I didn't particular need any help finding anything because I know the store fairly well. I thought of something I forgot to look for the first time I came in so and I found myself driving past the store again later in the day I stopped in to check it out. Even though it was reasonably priced it was still more than I wanted to pay knowing that they are cheaper at Ikea and the dollar store when they have them. I ended up finding some cute butterfly stickers instead, lol. So I still left happy.

I did not find the item I was looking for even though I know I have bought it at Family Dollar in the past but I did pick up four or five other items that I could use. Family Dollar seems to be the only place in town that I've been able to five find the little packets of sugar-free Tang that have 100% of your daily requirement of vitamin C so I always try to pick up a couple of containers when I'm in here. It's the first time I had been to this location but I happen to be in this part of town so I stopped by.

Speaking of Michael's, that's where I was when I heard of this place. I was looking for a purple fine Sharpie marker which Michael's used to carry, as did Walmart and some of the office supply stores. I had already checked at Walmart with no luck and they no longer sold the separate markers at Michaels either. Fortunately I asked the young man at the cashier counter about it and he suggested I try Mardels next door. I walked in and looked around for a little bit, then asked the clerk if they had a pens and pencils or stationery supplies section. She pointed me to the section with the pens and pencils and lo and behold there were the separate markers on the bottom shelf. I not only found the purple Sharpie I was wanting for $1.69 but also a lavender highlighter which for some reason are getting harder to find, and another purple pen that I really liked, plus a fine black permanent marker by Le Pen that I have bought before, usually at Hobby Lobby, but didn't have with me on my trip. I I spent about $8 and left happy that I had found what I was looking for. Aside from the pens they have tons of books and movies and all kinds of Christian oriented merchandise. The clerk's were very helpful and cheerful. It was a great find.

I accidentally set my car keys down while shopping and each associate that was working was very kind to help me locate them. I will definitely be shopping here again soon!
