Geesh prices are outrageous for the quality of the food, chile relleno was bland n very salty,beans- mediocre,and the complimentary taco was less quality then a del taco one,I am lucky i did not chip a tooth with the tortilla,my wife ordered 2 shredded beef taco,but guess what? This garbage place can never get an order right . These incompetents who "work" at Rosie's need to be removed and fired. They are stupid, lazy and basically unfit for any retail job. They consistently screw up orders, forgetting to include items ordered but not correctly inputted into the order form, take for example order 53 placed today 5/5. Then to make things worse they are lazy by not answering their phone. They merely pick up the receiver and lay it down without answering so you can listen to those worthless employees for about 20 minutes before they hang up the phone. Normally I wouldn't return to Rosie's based on their lower health department ratings. Obviously returning was a mistake. This place is a disgrace. read more

I don't know why this spot has such a low rating. Their food is so good 100% of the time. They are always super busy so I guess they aren't the friendliest but I don't need more friends. Stopped in the area for gas and ended up eating here. Be prepared for the HUGE portions! We ordered what I thought was the 2 small burritos and a side of Verde fries. What we got was a huge plate of fries with pork Verde, guacamole, sour cream and cheese ( a meal for 2 or 3). The burritos were HUGE!!! :-) We ended up eating just the fries with the delish hot sauce they have on the counter. The burritos ended up with some cool guys at the gas station. If and when I stop here again, it's gonna be just one order that we can share. The guy behind the counter was super nice and helpful. The portions are obviously huge. This has got to be the worst Mexican food that I have ever had! And the terrible service matches the terrible food. When I first got introduced to the city of Calimesa 8yrs ago, I asked around to see who had good Mexican food. I was told Rosies was the spot. I went, tried, and tried again...terrible every time. I can only think that people flock to Rosies because they pretty much had a monopoly as far as Mexican food goes within the city limits. I'm done trying to support this local business when really they are so undeserving. I will never return. Thank goodness I've discovered a new local Mexican eatery that blows Rosies out the water. Very disappointed with these guys. I ordered a large menudo to go when I was getting out of my car I lift the bag the menudo rip through the bag fell on the ground and the menudo cup broke. I called them several times but they wouldn't answer the calls, I drove back to Rosie and told them what had happened I even showed the a picture of the broken cup the girl showed the lady in the back she came to tell me that they were going to give me a new one but, that this has never happen before! I'm upset that they think I purposely drop it. If that would of been the case I would not have gone back it would be my fault. I'm a honest person I don't do shit like that! They didn't packaged the menudo right the first time second time they gave it to me in a plastic bag. I ordered the nachos with cheese and carne asada, I was so disappointed. First of all for Mexican food I don't understand why they used nacho cheese, I have never seen that before. Every time I have ordered nachos elsewhere they use melted Monterey Jack cheese. The nachos were so soggy too! I figured since I spent over 10 bucks I will try to eat them and no way too salty because it was nacho cheese. I called them and they were closed. I will not go back ever again because it wasn't the first time I thought the food was just ok. I ended up driving to The Window at Beaumont cafe because I know they are a for sure thing. I went there today for the first time in a long time. I ordered a carne asada burrito to go at 10:14 according to my receipt. I sat there in the little lobby area near the register waiting for my food. I'm watching as many folks are receiving their food and I'm still waiting. I finally decided to inquire about my order and it was 11:07 at this time. I was told that they never received my ticket in the back?? She said they will make it now. I said forget it and asked for my refund. They gave me my refund and I left. My complaint is obviously very poor customer service. I was sitting there facing the cashier the whole time. She could have checked on me and/or my order at anytime, but did not. Also, when it was brought to their attention, they should have at least offered me something for their error. Terrible service! I placed a phone order about 40 mins before i took my lunch. Got there, and my order was not even ready!!! Like hello!!? I placed my order almost an hour prior!!! As im waiting for my order, i see several other people waiting, as the worker was calling out orders people are like no i didnt order that i ordered this. Listen, I know this is Mexican fast food, BUT...I won't even spend a lot of time typing about my complaints. Simply take a look at the "Chile Relleno" burrito. Let me define this for my non Spanish speaking people. A "Chile Relleno" is a cheese stuffed Anaheim or Poblano pepper, lightly fried with an egg batter. Rosie's version is more of a THICK egg batter, lightly stuffed with a slither of pepper and cheese. Absolutely horrible. Don't take my word for it. Tonight was the first and last time I will eat at Rosies in calimesa. I ordered chicken tacos with flour tortillas. My wife ordered taquitos and when my wife got home with the food my chicken tacos were on corn tortillas and she had a chile rellano. Nice quality service. My tacos were bland and the jack n the box tacos are even better than the ones I got. My wife didn't mind her food but it was still wrong. We only live about 5 min away from the restaurant but didn't want to waste the time to go back. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Look for other mexican food restaurants in the area. The food is ok. The bad is that the customer service is really bad and for what you get, the price is too much. I have no problem paying for good food but I do have a problem being overcharged for less than subpar food. I got the chile rellenos plate and it was seriously just a joke. I'm tired of ordering food and coming home for an item to be missing and also being charged for it. Pretty run of the mill; no thrills here. Basic Mexican menu, however sometimes that's exactly what you need. I ordered two simple hard shell ground beef tacos, they were good and as expected. So I order 3 street tacos to go as a snack for my daughter @1$ a piece. I get home and only have 2 and have a sad kid. So I go back and let them know they got my order wrong and would like my taco. I get grilled by the girl behind the counter like I'm the mastermind of some world ending super taco scam. FOR A 1$ TACO! I get this grief. Like I went back there to grift a single taco. A single frigging taco and I'm grilled like some nutjob trying to pick up a little kid from kindergarten that isn't his. I'd give less than one star for customer service if I could.
