I went there to try out this location after seeing a reel on face book how 'good' they were but was very disappointed with their service & food quality. I went in for lunch & was first customer there. I ordered a burrito without rice then 3 other customers came in & all got their order before me. I had to asked the staff when my order is ready then waited another 5 minutes to get my food. The burritos was horrible. There were hardly had fillings in the big tortilla wrap. Needless to say, this was my first & last visit there. That burrito was not worth $15 but $5 at best. read more

It's a good size burrito for one person at about $14, well worth it! The chili Verde meat is very flavorful and tender. The chili relleno that's inside is very flavorful but not spicy, But yet very, very good. The service here is excellent. All the people preparing your food and at the front counter are very courteous and extremely busy. This place is nonstop people walking in and out with a little bit of everything from their large menu. The ambience is old school Spanish style, which is comforting and not overwhelming. This small restaurant, they do have a few other roses, but if I'm in the area, I will definitely stop every time. You will have to stop to form your own opinion, but I'm pretty sure you'll be well satisfied with whatever you order. read more

I've been going here for years and the last year it has been terrible like there's not one good thing I can say about this location and tonight really was the cherry on top when I unwrapped my bean and cheese burrito that was mainly tortilla and it smelled straight like bleach I couldn't even eat it. ALLERGY WARNING! If you or your kids have food allergies, DO NOT eat at Rosie's in Calimesa, CA. We told them SEVERAL times about our severe dairy, egg, peanut, soy, and corn allergies. They still contaminated our toddler's food with eggs and dairy. She reacted immediately. Staff admitted they didn't even notify the kitchen after we begged them to. No refund. No real apology. $43 wasted, food in the trash, and now we have to watch our daughter suffer the consequences. Protect your family -- AVOID this place! read more

Burritos are good and the chili rellenos are very good. I tried the hard shell tacos and they are just okay, not great, just average taste. Food is kind of on the cold side. They won't give salsa unless you ask for it. The size of the burritos are a usual size as everywhere else, nothing special, overpriced for the size. The first time we came here it was good. The 2nd time I wasn't too happy. Small food portions is what it seemed to me. After i ordered and I was half way done with my food I noticed they now have a B rating sign. I'm disappointed. Might not be coming to the Calimesa ROSIE's no more. We have been to the ROSIE'S in Yucaipa and the place is clean and the atmosphere is better. First time here. Picked up an order to go. The chile relleno burritos were good but I only asked for beans in one and got them in both. I ordered five orders of taquitos and there was barely any quacamole with them. The paper holders for the taquitos are way too flimsy. Better to get the quacamole on the side for to go orders. read more

As a frequent customer for regular meals and returning customer for party burritos I am completely disappointed by the service provided for the party burritos I ordered this time. I ordered 6 days ahead of time, asked for it to be ready earlier than it needed to be. Showed up for my order of a 3ft and 5ft burrito to watch them make them in real time. Not once did they offer an apology or partial discount. Mind you the cost was not cheap. Our event had started while we still sat and wait for the burritos to be ready. Finally they offered chips & salsa. Will never return for a party order after this experience. PS asaderos is much cheaper with quicker response times. read more

Chorizo breakfast burrito was piping hot and delicious. Cooked to order, friendly service, mom and pop dive. Simple dining room nicely decorated in a Stater Bros strip mall with comfortable booths. Came by to pick up food for lunch and we didn't have a good experience. The guy at the register was weirdly staring at us while taking our order (a Calimesa burrito and three BRC burritos) and he overcharged me. I didn't initially catch it, but the total sounded incorrect so I checked my receipt and sure enough I was charged for three Calimesa burritos and no BRCs. I went back to get it worked out with him, and he rolled his eyes and told me that I should have caught the mistake earlier. He tried to convince me to take the order he put in, but I didn't sway and he rudely ran a refund and charged me correctly. That interaction left a bad impression with me, and I couldn't really enjoy the food. The Calimesa ended up having large clumps of cilantro, there was maybe two small pieces of fish, and the a ton of cabbage. The BRCs were nearly flavorless and needed a lot of salsa to help. Overall disappointed with the customer service and with the food, we will not be coming back. read more

This place is dirty AF. You can literally see footprints on the floor. I placed a To go order. I went in paid and the useless female up front said it would be a minute. That minute turned into 20 minutes. When I walked in my order was finished sitting there while I waited for it. After handing out several orders she looks and grabs the exact order that was sitting there and gave it to me. I told her that my order has been there along time. She opens it and says it's still hot. She did offer to remake it but I'm not about spit in my food. Plus just the nasty smell & dirt up in there I needed to go. Waited 10 minutes for the rude staff to finish a conversation amongst themselves prior to being acknowledged and being able to place my order. I ordered a shredded beef burrito and my friend ordered a Verde burrito. The fat ass behind the counter asked if we wanted beans and rice, we said yes. A few minutes later the order was ready but neither one was correct. I received a small amount of shredded beef on a plate with a side of dry rice and watered down beans. The exact same thing happened to my friends order as well so we went to ask them to please put the meat into a tortilla or to give us a tortilla so we could do it ourselves. This rude fat @$$hole said they dont come in Burritos and wouldn't even offer to rectify the situation. Since when do you take an order for 2 burritos and then provide something completely different to the customer!?Needless to say I took 2 bites of the worst tasting food even and left it on the table and walked out. Where is the quality control? We ordered 2 Meat, bean and cheese burritos and look at how different they look... both were falling apart and mostly watered down refried beans. I was also given a receipt saying #181 and sat in the store while the girl working called #7 over and over before telling me it was actually my order. We won't be going back again read more

The two ladies working the counter Saturday September 14th morning, 2024 11am were very bad at customer service, just a sloppy mess . We were a party of 12..I needed lemon (just lemon)for my menudo. To busy chatting to each other and some other man they were ordering some thing from him , while taking an order at the counter and then she answered the phone. To many times I come in and these same women doing personal business or chatting family Drama with each other. Can't you just leave the lemons and water cups out, instead of customers waiting to get their attention, feeling ignored. Terrible I ordered a GT burrito with NO GUAC AND I GOT A BRC WITH SOUR CREAM AND CHIPS INSIDE!!!! My taco salad was just OK,,, there were way too many chips and not enough lettuce at all. They only have hot sauce really no pico de gallo type salsa, and the sour cream is actually a liquidy, white sour cream sauce, and guacamole they say? orst customer service ever. I would never dine here again. They lost my business. Asked for a Chille Relleno burrito and was literally served a dry chille relleno in a tortilla. I asked for no meat the second time not realizing the burrito had meat and received it back in a harsh manner and it had pork in it still. I do not recommend for vegeterians. They contaminate their food. The cashier was also very rude. In addition, to poor quality food and customer service the establishment is dirty and the leave their salsa out on their trash cans for guest to use.
