I knew exactly what style and look I wanted for my wedding flowers, but I didn't quite know how to describe it. Malak brought my dreams to life. She was prompt, communicated well, and was very considerate and kind. She's been doing this for many years and it shows! That talent and that eye for flower arrangement--nobody does it better. My wedding was moved 3 times because of the pandemic but Malak stayed patient with us. On the day of my wedding, Malak brought the flowers to the hotel where I was getting ready. Every one loved it! She then delivered the flowers to my reception venue as well. We got 15 tall centerpieces, cake flowers, and welcome table flowers (in addition to the bride and bridal party flowers, parents flowers etc) and she ended up giving us a complimentary bouquet for the bouquet toss! We were recommended to Rosies & Posies by the Fairmont San Jose who use her services, and Malak was an absolute dream to work with. Despite the partnerships she has with huge clients, she was committed to making sure she could meet our needs within our more modest budget. I really don't know flowers that well, so during our first meeting I laid out the general color scheme for our wedding and that I wanted to make sure to use in-season flowers (to avoid super high costs) and Malak went above and beyond -- the flowers were so beautiful that I almost cried the first time I saw them. Malak also oversaw adding florals to our chuppah, sweetheart table, sign-in table, and cake and everything was impeccable. I had also asked Malak if she could wrap my bouquet in my grandmother's handkerchief -- it was a pretty small piece of cloth, but she didn't hesitate, and made it look so beautiful. We dropped off the handkerchief to her about a week before the wedding and had no concerns leaving it with her for that time. I wanted to send flowers to my wife for mother's day. She loves peonies so I called a few places to ask for them. I picked Rosies&Posies as they verified they have the flowers and they do deliver in our area in Campbell. Although they were pretty busy for mother's day we received the flowers in the morning. This is now my go-to florist. I originally called Citti florist and they could not accommodate a 9:30am delivery Saturday for a celebration of life. I called Rosies and Posies and Malak was super sweet and kind. They were able to deliver the flowers to the service. The other challenge was the service was held in a park and I wasn't sure what part of the park. When we arrived at 9:30am at the park the flowers were there. I emailed the business after hours with questions, expecting a reply the next day but I promptly received a response from Malak. I usually tend to think that you shouldn't be blown away by good service, that used to be the baseline but this was awesome + above and beyond so I feel it's warranted. I chose this place to make a bouquet for me. Upon hindsight, I wish I hadn't. The store is close to my home, so I thought it'd be a convenience to complete my business here. I was very wrong. The florist originally tried to charge me $175 for a bouquet that other places were quoting $100. She made an appointment for me to come into her store to show and describe the bouquet that I wanted. I did so. I described it in detail and showed her multiple photos. I even emailed her these photos on spot so that she can have them in her files. The day before I was to pick up my bouquet, I came to her store to check on the flowers. She didn't even have the right COLORS let alone the right type of flowers. I was so confused by this. We had spent 30 minutes with each other talking about all of these details before hand... and she had saved photos from me... She was late to complete my bouquet as per our mutually agreed finish time. I came to the store at the time and date she promised to have the bouquet but she hadn't even started it yet. I had to come back later after she calls to let me know she was done. It was very frustrating. She wasted my time, and I just don't think a florist should be that far from punctuality. This isn't a florist you can trust. Not reliable in many ways. Friends and family reading this, go elsewhere. read more

In August I received a floral arrangement for my birthday and was extremely disappointed with the quality of flowers. The roses all had wilted edges and the other fill flowers had their petals curling up with brown edges. I called to discuss the issue with the owner who agreed to make a replacement arrangement and send it to the house during a specified 4 day window. That was my mistake as I should have demanded a refund since the replacement arrangement had numerous delivery dates but it didn't show on the promised dates The shop never took the initiative to reach out to explain the delays. Today I finally received the replacement floral arrangement and it is in excellent shape and quite lovely. It is a shame the first arrangement wasn't as nice. Customer service needs to improve both in communication and quality control if they want to keep their customers. read more

I called to find out if they had a certain item, they responded that they had some, told me the price and so I headed over to pick them up. When I got there, the lady told me, "Oh sorry - I thought you were going to come tomorrow. We don't have any." What was that about? Not cool. They did not have many selections around in their refrigerator that I saw, but I heard them saying it's best to order beforehand, instead of walking in and grabbing a bouquet. The store had lots of vases and other varieties around, so hopefully you have something in mind when you walk in, or I'm sure they will be able to help you out. All I know is that I was quite frustrated with that experience, so I don't know if I would take my chance with coming back. read more

We recently hired Malak to do our wedding flowers at Saratoga Springs. We wanted to hire someone who was local, easy to work with, and could work with our limited budget. As we all know, weddings can really add up, so I was delighted when Malak was so flexible and very easy to work with. We met with her in person and went over what we were looking for. I wanted mostly white flowers, peonies, greenery, and with a touch of blue. She texted me the bouquets the day before the wedding to ask for feedback, and she quickly adjusted the style to meet what we were looking for. i want to say a big thanks to the owner as she totally came through! i am not a repeat customer and never been here before, but i will def be there in the future! a friend passed away and leis were the request for the memorial service. if you've ordered leis they can be pretty pricey and i wanted to ensure my co-workers would be able to bring them....so bright idea...make them myself! up front the owner said she could give me deal since i was buying so many. i called a number of florists (sunnyvle - campbell) and she BY FAR had the best price for the carnations. not only did she have the price, she was able to give me 120 right then and there...she even stayed late that day since I was driving there from work. i needed more so she offered to call some places for me the next day once i had the quantity i needed. 180 was my request...she tried to get as many of the color i needed and def came through as she was able to get 90% with such late notice!! i called like 10am ish and she had them ready for me to pick up by 2:30pm same day!! all i can say is she was sooo nice and sooo helpful even giving me some tips for making leis with the carnations. she also had the best price for pre-made leis which ranged low at $50 or so (using less flowers and cheaper ones such as carnations...also last longer) to $60's for more flowers and some more expensive flowers like orchids. so if you want pre-made ones i would still go to her as she was willing to discuss flowers and budget with me, which many of the other florists i called weren't nearly has nice. read more

For the amount of money I spent, this is the flower arrangement I received. The quantity of flowers that was in the original picture and the type of flowers that were pictured did not come close. A day after valentines day, which was a Saturday (2/15/2013), at 10pm, I had to look for a place to get flowers for the next day, Sunday. I called about 20 places, they were either closed or too expensive, I went to Safeway, the flowers looked bad, and they said the inventory will come on Monday. I needed these flowers by tomorrow afternoon. I was feeling sad.. LOL. So I went back home and continued calling places. I left a message to 4 stores asking if they have white roses. I would 100% recommend Rosies Posies to any friends and family after my wonderful experience working with them for my 200+ wedding. Malak is kind, detail-oriented, flexible, punctual and efficient. She consistently answered my phone calls and was prepared with portfolio/ideas for our in-person meetings. She was conscientious of staying within my budget. She is easy to talk to and even sent photos of her designs the day before the wedding to make sure I liked them. She was able to create exactly what I pictured in my brain even though I couldn't specifically explain it to her. Most importantly- the floral designs were simply amazing. My mother and I had originally ordered online, the Sweet As Sugar bouquet, to send to our dear friends, who'd recently lost their father. We called the shop, to inquire just how small the small arrangement was. The lady we spoke with, Malak, was very kind and helpful, stating that the small was "packed tightly with flowers", and that she could "add more greenery" to our arrangement, to make it appear a bit larger. We said we would love that. She also informed us that she was out of purple hydrangea, but that she could substitute white hydrangea instead, and that she still all the other flowers in purple, as shown online. We also said that was fine. While we were very grateful the flowers arrived the next day, when my friend sent me a picture of them, I felt such immediate disappointment. Except for the lavender roses, the arrangement looked NOTHING like the one we chose online. Nothing. It looked messy, and not in a lovely, whimsical way. Also, the vase was a very unattractive dark silver color, as opposed to the lovely clear one online. And Malak had asked if I wanted a different vase than the one shown online, and I clearly replied, "no". She even confirmed that "no" again, before our call ended. SO, I was super confused, when the picture came.... I went into the shop the following day, and spoke with a very nice young lady, expressing my disappointment, and asked if my family could be given any compensation for our order not being hardly anything like the one we chose. She kindly had me leave my name and number, and said the owner would call me the next day. When I returned the voicemail to Malak the next day, I knew just by the tone of her voice when she answered, that the conversation may be a bit challenging. :( Before I even completed my first sentence, that started with an expression of gratitude, and was in no way confrontational, she interrupted that she was "absolutely shocked" that we were disappointed with the flowers. And for the next 5-7 minutes, she proceeded to tell me just how beautiful the arrangement was, that she gave us the "very expensive" silver vase (I tried to explain that I did not want the silver vase...), that she added more "expensive flowers extra because they had lost their father" (I tried to remind her that we had ONLY agreed on 'more greenery' and some white hydrangea...not a completely different set of flowers---unsuccessful again), that "'even the driver commented, "are you sure these flowers are for THAT order? It looks so much more expensive!'"...and on and on and ON. After the first few minutes, I realized it was clear that she wasn't going to hear anything I had to say, that I was going to have to let this one go, and know that I would Never purchase flowers from Rosie's Posies again. *huge sigh* I also couldn't help but be transported back to those times when I was younger....where I would let a friend or older loved one know how something they said or did, made me feel...only to be met with defensiveness.
