Hylary is THE BEST. One of the best vendors I worked with for our wedding. She is so accommodating, sweet, and responds to e-mails very quickly. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Because of her, I didn't worry/stress out about flowers at all (I was stressed with everything else for the wedding). I basically gave her my color theme and trusted her with everything else. The flowers were breathtaking in person. Thank you so much! read more

We worked with H & J Flowers for our wedding event. I chose them because it was clear from their portfolio that they always provide such full and lush arrangements, and I am so happy with the arrangements they created for our wedding!! We appreciated that they were able to accommodate our request for potted ferns for our ceremony aisle, and unique bell-jar arrangements for the dinner tables. We requested a fern-and-greenery heavy style without much "blooms," and we were so pleased that H & J were able to create such beautiful arrangements that matched our vision! read more

Let me start by saying: don't look any further--hire Hylary and her team! They were absolutely incredible to work with while I planned my destination wedding. From our very first phone call, Hylary understood my vision, made me feel completely at ease, and was incredibly flexible throughout the entire process. She is so personable and genuinely cares, which made an otherwise stressful experience feel calm and enjoyable. Her arrangements were beyond beautiful--I truly wish I had thanked her and her team even more. While I was getting my hair and makeup done, my makeup artist even pointed out how stunning the florals were and commented on how sweet and wonderful the team was. Traveling from Florida for our wedding in Big Sur, I couldn't have asked for a better execution of my vision--she nailed it perfectly. I honestly wanted to cry when it was time to leave the arrangements behind because they were absolutely perfect and I wished I could keep them forever. Hylary and her team are truly the best. * Pre-Wedding * H&J Flowers was highly recommended by a friend of ours as well as our venue, Clos LaChance Vineyards (now known as Cordevalle Winery). There was no doubt in our mind that we wanted H&J Flowers to be our florists for our wedding. Over the course of a year and three months, Hylary responded promptly to emails, sent similar examples from previous weddings based off of our mood board, let us know how the ceremony garland could be reused at the reception, and worked within our budget. She didn't recommend what I had originally envisioned for our ceremony background since it would have looked odd; instead she suggested something similar that would work well with our venue ceremony site. My recommendation is to hire a florist who is open to your ideas but is also realistic when it comes down to the game plan and that is Hylary. * Wedding Day * A lot of the work that florists do is done behind the scenes while you are getting ready so I appreciate what Hylary, Jason, and Jacquie had to do in order to make everything look perfect and it truly was. H&J couldn't have come any closer to what I had envisioned for my bridal bouquet. The moment I saw the pergola garland arrangement at the end of the aisle, I was floored. At the end of the night, the only thing we had to do was take home the bouquets and centerpieces. H&J cleaned up the rest of the florals and picked up the candle rentals. The last thing you want to be doing once the wedding is over is to be cleaning up. We couldn't be happier on how the florals turned out so of course we highly recommend H&J Flowers! read more

We had an absolutely incredible experience with H&J Flowers doing the florals for our wedding. From start to finish, Hylary was absolutely fantastic. I was blown away by the magic she created for our wedding day. Before we selected H&J, I was already in love with all of the photos on their instagram & website. Throughout the entire wedding process, Hylary was super responsive, communicative, and detail-oriented, which I loved. I gave her a collection of inspo photos and she absolutely nailed it on wedding day! She was super flexible when we made some changes along the way as we ironed out some wedding details after signing the original contract, and on wedding day the florals. were. STUNNING. When I received my bouquet I was immediately in love. They were perfect and smelled beautiful. The floral-laden chuppah she prepared for us was such a gorgeous backdrop to our ceremony. She dressed up our sweetheart table to be an absolute floral dream. Immediately after dinner, I got requests from multiple guests to ask if they could take the centerpieces home because they loved them so much. We got so many compliments throughout the day on the florals. H&J knocked it out of the park and I am BEYOND grateful that we chose to go with them for our special day. Oh my gosh! I literally have no words for how freaking amazing Hylary and her whole team are. When I say they took my vision and made it happen, that doesn't do justice to the absolute magic they created! I wish I could relive that day over and over again just to absorb the beauty they helped create. The kindness, joy, and love this beautiful group of people bring to your wedding day is something you can't put a price on! H&J Flowers were incredible to work with for our October 2025 wedding at Waterfall Lodge and Retreat. Hylary was so kind and so patient with me. I had a vision and at the same time, couldn't really explain my vision and somehow she brought it to life without even myself really knowing what the vision was. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she had multiple calls with me literally so I could ask the same exact questions I had already asked and I was being so indecisive, yet she was so patient and graceful with me. She helped me with budgeting and helped me find areas to cut cost. Then, there was the day of the wedding. It was stunning. It turned out better than I could have ever expected and we got so many compliments on our tables and the florals. Everything felt so seamless and all of the flowers were repurposed in ways that just felt like it all fit in. My bouquet was beautiful and all of the bridesmaids florals were stunning too. I could not have asked for a better florals team. This is your sign to book H&J Flowers! read more

We absolutely loved working with Hylary and her team for our once in a lifetime day. We got married at Nestldown on 10/18/25. The process from start to finish was so enjoyable, fun, easy and it's all thanks to Hylary. We received so many compliments from our guest for how stunning everything turned out. The barn was transformed, it was so warm and inviting with all of the candles. The ceremony, bridal flowers, welcome sign flowers, queens and round tables, cocktail hour it was all perfect. Hylary and her team went above and beyond and it was all of my Pinterest dreams come true but even better. She really helped translate all of my thoughts and communicated and executed so well. Hylary was by far my husband and my favorite vendor to work with. She was always so responsive in her emails. She understood our vision and was able to provide a mood board for what the candles, layout, type of flowers etc. She provided such great ideas on what it could look like, what combinations of flowers/candles/vases/ she did it all.  We even had a floral trial day. And I am an anxious type A person and Hylary did not have me feeling worried one bit. I had full faith and complete trust that everything was going to turn out stunning. A month out we switched the vision from super fall and orange colors to a more romantic timeless fall look. I could not be happier with the outcome. We had our planning call and she didn't make me feel bad at all for completely changing the vision. She made a plan and sent a new mood board and it was so great to see, It was like a weight lifted off my shoulders knowing that Hylary and her team knew exactly how to make the day beautiful. Her and her team are so talented and I wish them all the best in all of their future projects. Thank you Hylary and team for making the best day of my life so beautiful. read more

We are so grateful to H&J for the breathtaking floral installations at our wedding in April 2024. From the very beginning, they understood our vision and brought it to life with creativity, artistry, and attention to detail. The arrangements were lush, vibrant, and completely transformed the space into something magical. Our guests were blown away, and we are still receiving compliments on how stunning everything looked. We worked with H&J Flowers for our wedding at Nestldown in August. Everyone we interacted with from the team was incredibly nice and professional. Hylary was really great during the planning process, and we worked through a few drafts before deciding on a floral plan that would look great but still fit our budget. On our wedding day, the bouquet and centerpieces were lovely with a stunning variety of both flowers and greenery, and the guests couldn't stop talking about how unique it was that the little bud vases came in different shapes. All the bud vases/centerpieces were taken home by the guests at the end of the night! read more

When I first got engaged, every instagram post I saw from local venues where I was obsessing over the florals turned out to be creations from H & J Flowers! So before I even had a venue, I reached out to Hylary and told her I HAD to have her and her team as my florists! From the first phone call Hylary was a dream to work with! She even helped me find amazing options for different venues at the beginning of my planning journey!! I had told her which wedding on their website portfolio really stood out to me, and she tweaked it based on our conversation to match my style a little closer and to include my favorite flowers (sunflowers) in the centerpieces and bouquets, too! She was so responsive and supportive during all interactions and was flexible with changes that I had to make about a month before the big day! We had a micro wedding for our day, so the florals had to be delivered to the hotel instead of the venue per our venue contract which they were happy to accommodate! When I tell you my jaw was on the floor when I saw my bridal bouquet, it would be an understatement. H & J Flowers created masterpieces that were beyond what I could have ever imagined. My bouquet was STUNNING and was exactly what every bride dreams to hold on their special day. The centerpieces were amazingly gorgeous and complimented the venue seamlessly. And the corsages and boutonnières were high quality and simply perfect. We are so thankful to Hylary, Jason, Jacquie, and the rest of the team for bringing so much beauty and magic to our wedding day! I wish I could have kept all of the florals forever, but I'll settle for having my bouquet pressed so it will last a lifetime. read more

H & J Flowers gave me the florals of my dreams. I cannot say enough about how incredible it was to work with them. From Hylary answering my millions of questions as a bride who has never had a vision of what her wedding florals would be to Jacquie applying the vision the day of, they are your go to for wedding florals. Special highlight to my bouquet and the arch. When I first walked in and saw Jacquie putting together my arch, I was stunned and she wasn't even done yet! Sitting next to the arch was a bucket of the most beautiful orange with red marigolds. We weren't sure if we were going to get them but we were blown away we did. Marigolds have a special meaning to my husband's family so having them be part of it was extra special. And then my bouquet. The moment I picked it up, Jacquie was there to guide me and give me extra care for the bouquet. And I even asked her which was was front because it was stunning from every angle to which Jacquie said "That's Hylary's speciality" A bouquet with multiple fronts. I just returned from my son's wedding in Monterey, and was privileged to see all the hard work that goes into an A+ event. I had to come and go to the venue for hair and makeup, and I got to see Hylary and her crew happily transforming a lawn area into an outside wedding venue suitable for pictures. So I took pictures while they set-up... then as the photographer was taking pictures, I watched her crew again come and take the flowers to the inside where they decorated the tables. I asked her if I could take some to my moms grave... and she literally found me at the end of the event (we closed down the place, so it was a long day for them!) and gave me a bouquet... then the next morning for brunch the flowers were used again at another venue, making it all tie together soo beautifully. I don't know how they found this florist, but they did a spectacular job! read more

This team was amazing! I reached out to Hylary and we made an appointment to chat. I shared with her my pinterest board and she made my ideas come to life! She understood the direction I was going with the decor and I was able to combine two themes with her help. They also provided voltives and candles! Hylary was very accommodating when I was trying to coordinate with receiving flowers at the hotel and the arrival of the photographers. The photographers requested lay flat flowers which Hylary's team was able to provide. They did a great job when I was changing my request the month prior to the wedding. Hylary made sure to get in touch with us before finalizing everything. I appreciated the detailed contract to help us keep track of our requests. It incudes photos so I know what we were getting! H&J created absolute floral magic for our wedding. They were a pleasure to work with from our initial meeting. It was important to my wife and I to work with vendors that weren't just LGBTQ+ friendly, but were true allies. We loved Hylary's story of starting H&J after doing florals for her sister and sister in law's wedding. We loved how Hylary put the proposal together to allow us to see how best to achieve our floral vision while staying within our budget. H&J were great to communicate with throughout the planning process and flexible with changes we made to the design along the way. As for the actual florals, months after our wedding and we are still completely in awe of how beautiful they were. Our ceremony space was beyond anything we could have imagined and that is hugely because of H&J's gorgeous work! We were also able to take a centerpiece along with us on our honeymoon road trip and it lasted all week long! I also had a flower crown made and it brought my entire bridal look together. I felt like a fairy princess and seeing me with it on for the first time is what made many of my family members emotional. H&J was such a huge part of making our wedding day everything we dreamed of. They are lovely humans that are wonderful to work with and they create absolute art in florals. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat! read more

Hylary was my florist for my wedding on March 19th at OVY Camp. From our initial conversation, I knew that she could execute my vision. I ended up purchasing, finding and reusing bottles, vases and votives for my reception tables. Hylary did an amazing job complimenting all the vases with the flowers. Hylary's husband Jason, arranged to pick up some of the vases and bottles ahead of time to prep the flowers and I honestly thought that was a pretty kind gesture to do. Throughout the entire process, I felt like the communication and attention to detail was spot on and extremely helpful. Although, I didn't get to meet with Hylary in person-- I found her to be very honest and really easy to work with. My dad did meet her during the wedding morning and raved about her arrangements and her kind soul!! Hylary did a fantastic job with matching the color palettes of the beautiful redwoods. My husband and I are still in absolute awe of the flower arrangements, gorgeous bouquets, hair piece, stage and fireplace piece. All of our guests commented on how magical the flowers were and we ended up giving some of the arrangements to family/friends. One of my favorite details of the floral arrangements, was the sword ferns. It added a whimsical touch to the already stunning flowers. I ended up bringing some of my flowers home and they lasted about 2 weeks, which I was extremely impressed with. I highly recommend H&J and wish I could give them 1000 stars!!! read more

I cannot say enough good things about working with Hylary and her team. I just felt like I was in such capable hands and I had absolute trust in them. The florals at our wedding were stunning and exactly fit the fall vibe I was going for with our wedding being in October. But Hylary truly goes above and beyond; - she gave me great recommendations for other vendors that I could work with and I ended up hiring my month of planner per her recommendation - when she overheard me stressing about who could help wrangle my dog Benny after he walked down the aisle, she volunteered her Husband Jason for the job. They are huge dog lovers and even brought him special treats and helped make it possible to have him in the wedding. - while I was getting ready, I really wanted to see sneak peaks of the ceremony and reception space, and Hylary texted me photos and videos so I could see everything coming to life before guests arrived. Hylary was an amazing wedding florist to work with from start to finish. I knew I was in good hands when after our initial meeting, she drafted a multiple page outline with images of each item (i.e. bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquet, center pieces) we discussed and listed each type of flower and greenery out for me to give a final approval for. She understand the detail-oriented side of me. When the pandemic led to a re-schedule, she was so easy to work with to re-schedule our wedding date. With a year passing by, my wedding vision also changed and Hylary was quick to listen to my requests and make those revisions. This is a long overdue review for Hylary! I'm a professional makeup artist, so I have seen many different flower arrangements for different clients. When it was my own turn, I did some quick research online and also reached out to some connections that I know in the field. Hylary was the best, no question asked. Her price was competitive, her communication was excellent! I actually never even met her in person=) And she delivered an amazing look! (within budget)! I only talked to her on the phone for about 15 mins and then sent her couple pictures of what I was looking for, then she immediately sent me a quote. She was quick and efficient. In addition, her quote was VERY DETAILED. She listed exactly what flowers she would use, how much it is for each item, with pictures, etc. When I received her proposal, I paid, lol. Yes, immediately. On the wedding day, she had everything ready for my friend to come pick up for the bridal party. Packaged carefully. She made sure to give me extra for my hair flowers, etc. At the same time, she and her husband worked with my venue coordinator and everything was just perfect. The flowers were absolutely stunning! Once again, price was unbeatable! If you are still searching and not deciding on H&J, you are probably missing out one of the best florists I have seen! THANK YOU! read more
