If you're craving authentic Bangladeshi flavors done right, Roshona Bilash is an absolute gem. Their doi fuchka is hands down one of the best I've ever had perfectly crispy shells filled with tangy, spiced yogurt that hits every note just right. The morog polou was equally impressive fragrant, rich, and beautifully balanced, with tender chicken that melts in your mouth. You can tell a lot of care goes into the preparation. I also tried their Poila Boishakh platter, and it completely stole the show. The variety and authenticity were incredible, but what really stood out was the bhorta easily the best I've ever had. Each one was packed with flavor, fresh, and made with that homemade touch that's hard to find. Overall, Roshona Bilash delivers not just food, but an experience that feels nostalgic and comforting. Highly recommend to anyone looking for true Bangladeshi cuisine you won't be disappointed.

I love the food here. The restaurant is a very simple but reasonably comfortable "shop." Its only real weak spot is adjusting to the demand created for To Go orders by the May 2026 Eater L.A. review. Otherwise this was a pleasant surprise with a delicious but not fancy lamb shank. I hope that they can soon offer vegetable sides to go with their savory meat and rice offerings.

We had such a great experience! Food was fresh, authentic, and delicious! It was obviously made with a lot of care and we truly enjoyed everything that we ordered. Prices were also amazing! Will definitely be back!

Really happy this opened up in my neighborhood. I've been waiting to see what takes the place of Sunshine Thai, and Roshona Bilash delivers on the same homey vibes. We came for lunch on a Friday and ordered the tandoori chicken, lamb shank, and nihari bone marrow stew. Everything was delicious! The nihari was out of this world. Super friendly staff. Looking forward to coming back.

Saw this place on The Infatuation and wanted to check it out and I am so glad I did! The first thing you see when you walk in is a pastry case with delicious looking ready-to-eat savory items, so if you are in a rush, they've got you covered. But if you've got time to sit down, their menu is so reasonably priced (and they don't skimp on the portions) that you should treat yourself to a few entrees . My boyfriend and I shared the nihari (bone marrow) and the morog polao (chicken leg in a delicious sauce). Absolutely knocked my socks off. The owner is so nice and has been in the neighborhood for ages! I can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu

As a born and raised Los Angelino, I've had my share of great little food spots around town. It's not often, however, that a great little spot comes around that so enthralls me, so thoroughly hooks me with its distinct flavors and warm ambience, that I feel an overwhelming need to return over and over again on a weekly basis. Roshona Bilash is a special restaurant. It is family-run. You will always find mother, father, son, or daughter working in the kitchen and at the register, serving food from their country of origin, Bangladesh. This will not be like any south asian culinary experience you've had before. It's a charming blend of traditional recipes and LA-grown inspiration. Everything is prepared to order. A particular highlight is the Roshona Kebab, a wholly original layered beef skewer which the chef spent over a year developing prior to the restaurant's opening. All of their chicken dishes are stellar, so juicy and full of flavor. And their snacks are not like any you will find anywhere else in LA. The made-to-order naan, paratha, and roti will sooth your soul. And I would recommend trying one of the kebabs in a wrap! Great for on-the-go. In just a matter of months, Roshona Bilash has earned a special place in my heart. It's a true no-frills establishment, with everything served on disposable dish wear like a family cookout. You can tell this family really cares about providing good food to the community (at an unbelievable price!!). It's a rare and beautiful thing.

Absolutely amazing experience! Best kabab hands down! The Roshona Kabab was beautifully sculptured and perfectly layered with fat and meat absolutely scrumptious and bursting with flavor. The Morog Polaw and Beef Biryani were delicious and a must try .Highly recommend!

An absolutely delightful experience! I was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews, but we…read moreleft with both our hearts and stomachs completely satisfied. Even my 17-year-old, who usually only prefers homemade Indian food loved it. Here's what we ordered and my thoughts: Papri chaat - The papris was out of this world, with the perfect crunch and a rich, buttery flavor. The chutneys, potatoes, and chickpeas complemented it beautifully. The only small downside was that there could've been a little less yogurt. The sweetness level of the yogurt was just right, but it slightly overpowered the dish. Maybe a thicker drizzle of yogurt would balance it even better. Tandoori wings - Yum, yum, yum! They were perfectly seasoned, spiced and not dry at all. A couple of pieces were slightly overdone, but we didn't have time to think about it because they were so enjoyable overall. Everyone at the table loved them. And a special mention for the cilantro whipped cream, oh my what an unexpected concept! The flavor was a solid 10/10. The texture took a moment to get used to, but once I did, I couldn't stop eating it. Onion bhajjis - We ended up ordering these twice, which says it all! My son couldn't stop eating them. He's never even had pakoras before so these were an absolute hit!!! Chicken tikka masala - The best I've had in a long time. great balance of tangy and spicy flavors without being creamy. Generous portions of chicken and it was tender. I could've happily kept dipping my naan in the sauce all night long. Naan were alright! Slightly flat and overdone, but great with the sauce. Chai - we loved it so much we ended up having 3 cups each! Perfectly spiced and just the right amount of sweetness. Poutine - A bit underwhelming overall, but the masala potatoes were delicious. Honestly, I might have enjoyed it more without the gravy and chicken. Seekh kebabs - kebabs were tasty, but the sauce didn't quite work for me, it was salty, thick and didn't complement the already rich kebabs. I would've preferred them with sweet and green chutneys and maybe a pinch of chaat masala on top. Parle-G & malai kulfi - More than a perfect ending to a big meal. My son loved the Parle-G sandwiches--thank you for introducing him to a classic from my childhood! The malai and cardamom kulfi was delicious. Our waiter was super awesome!

We had their Chicken Tikka and Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice and Naan. For starters, the food was amazing, and the service, too, was amazing. Both easily ranked at the top of what I've had. The pricing, however, is definitely steeper. Most Indian food spots serve complimentary naan or have rice included or at a small surcharge. Here, however, it's like $6... each. And this is on top of a price that is already above average. Outside of the nickel-and-dime pricing, the ambiance was nice and quiet. The water was also very tasty and served in a jar that was easy to refill, and our server took really good care of us.

My friend got Indian food a few weeks ago so I felt inspired to get some too (or Pakistani food,…read morenot sure). Regardless, I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed it. I love how big the naan is that they give you. They make it fresh too. Even though I've tried a bunch of their skewers, this time I tried the fish karahi, which came with my choice of naan or rice. I chose naan. It was really good but it was a little too spicy for me. The cashier told me they could add yogurt the next time around. However, what really stood out is how the fish was cooked. I feel in American restaurants, fish is just cooked in a way that makes it just taste ok. However, at like Chinese restaurants, they really know how to make the fish taste amazing and have it be so plump and juicy. They make their fish like that here! The juicy and plump way where you're just like, "Wow I just want to keep eating this!" I also got a chicken roll too which is fried and crispy. Good appetizer. They also have water for free here too but I didn't see the dispenser so I just brought something from my car in. The ambiance is cozy here. Nice seating area. Worth visiting if you want really good LA Indian food and haven't been spoiled by extraordinary SF Indian food.

The seasoning and spices were on point. Great flavors, the right amount of heat, and something you can't really get elsewhere. My main issue was the quality of meat. Since this is supposed to be an affordable lunch spot, the meat was lower quality and really hindered the dishes. Too much fat, too much skin, too much gristle. I would love to see these spices on higher quality meat, that to me would be a 5/5.
