Date: 05.22.2026 We went to have some brunch. We ordered: - Beef paya ($7.99) - Regular Beef (Medium - $9.99) - One breakfast combo (Chicken + Aloo Bhaji + one Porata - $9.99) (Chicken/Beef + Any bhaji made on that day) - Poratas (one is more than enough for one person. You can't finish the entire one unless you are super hungry) Taste: All items were delicious. Regular beef tasted better than the beef paya. Prices seemed reasonable for the amount. Spice level was perfect. Service: Good. The lady who was taking the order is very sweet and cordial. ** They have their own parking space where you can park your car. read more

I had breakfast special couple of days ago which used to be beef or chicken, bhagi and dal previously which cost $ 7.99. They took oult beef and you coud onlyl chose Bhaji and dal or only chicken which cost $ 7.99. I would think which is overpriced without meat.. Quality of food was OK but the price is high. read more

I've been coming here regularly for evening snacks. I used to visit other Bangladeshi restaurants, but once I tried their chicken roll and chicken tikka, I stopped going anywhere else. The food is absolutely delicious, and if you're looking for authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, you should definitely give this place a try. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staffs are friendly. read more

Terrible customer service very rude and ignored guests not sure why people go here. Desi products overpriced

Kasturi is a good spot overall. The grocery section is nice and convenient. The buffet food is fresh when it begins, and most of the evening snacks are good when they start in the afternoon. Friday tehari tastes good but can be a bit too oily. Breakfast is always amazing. The breakfast buffet is fresh with large paratha, fresh eggs, and dal, which I really enjoy. Overall, a solid place with good food quality if you go at the right time. Service is fast and prompt, staff are usually friendly & always answers when called. Ambiance is good. read more

Kasturi has become on of my regular spot for lunch! People here are always friendly and they make some dishes that you'll not find in other Bangladeshi restaurants in K-Town like their Friday specials Bangladeshi style fried rice & Chili Chicken, Dhaka Kacchi (Goat Biryani). But we discovered a new item today Beef Latka Kichuri (porridge made of rice and lentil) which was absolutely mouth wateringly DELICIOUS !! You're NOT gonna get this particular dish anywhere in K-Town and they only make it occasionally! read more

I love this place, I feel like home. Great food and service ! They are very friendly people.

Although i go there almost everyday, their Beef Tehari is the best. Also the ice creams. read more

Super yummy mutton biryani ( have ordered twice), chicken roast, potato bhaji, and chicken korma. Food tastes fresh and authentic. The space is small so I prefer take out. Also managed to find fresh hyacinth beans (avarakkai) from the vegetable/ grocery section the last two times I came so that is a huge win for me . read more

Probably only one authentic, clean and good Bangladeshi restaurant out here in LA. I have been going here since last 2 years and their food has always been consistent. Try their Kacchi Biryani which is an authentic mutton biryani from Bangladesh that they cook every Friday. It runs out pretty fast so make sure to give them a call and ask them to keep some aside. Their seating area is relatively clean but they do better. Ample amount of street and onsite parking. Staffs are very accommodating and respectful. This has been my go - to place for a while now. read more

3rd street , Koreatown area many all in one India -Pakistan- Bangladesh mixed restaurants we can find but so far the tastiest restaurants are Bangla Bazar and Kasturi compared to any other restaurants, I can easily give 8 out of 10 to these restaurants!! If you go to Bangla Bazar the staff serves big portions of food to go or dine in but in Kasturi their hands are very heavy like selling gold so you won't get as much as Bangla Bazar ! Now it's your choice ! read more

I stopped here on my way home. When they found out I will be on the road for a while , they took their time to packing each order. Food was authentic and the service was A1. It was worth. read more

It's alright. Parking can be hard but what area in LA is not. Food is OK. Cheap. Limited selection of grocery.

I bought the lunch special today, it was a heap of plain basmati rice with a chana dal that was dry, a chopped potatoes side that was decently seasoned, lastly 2 small pieces of beef curry and 3 small pieces of beef fat. For $10 so not worth it read more

I do not know what to say about this place! It is a grocery store, having a food corner at the front, and a tight place to sit inside! Do not expect any service, just take your food from the counter! If you are lucky enough to have freshly cooked food, you will love it - the rest of the time it's the same story as other Bangladeshi food stores! Unhygienic place, with no restrooms, no washrooms, blood from red meats, and a smelly front!!! These types of stores in LA should be under some serious scrutiny and food inspectors should do a much better job! In any other place in the US, this store would have been completely banned from selling foods! read more

Ambiance is really about get what you need and go. And I would advise order with the help of someone local, maybe who even speaks the language if possible. (My husband is fluent thank goodness.) But the end result is the most delicious satisfying combo of affordable Bangladeshi take-out from really nice people. Yes, it's authentic; and No, I did not get the same heartburn I usually do at home! Thank you to this chef and team. Tip: the snackish foods kababs parathas and filled breads are the stars here read more

As it goes for any ethnic restaurant in little bangladesh, it could have been cleaner, better arranged with a clean restroom. The host was incredibly accommodating, he accommodated a group of 25 on an iftaar night weekend. The tea and the lemonade were heavenly. The jilapi had room for improvement. The begunis and fritters could have crispier. It is a mixed bag food quality wise, but the nice accommodating host/owner made everything slightly better. Hope to come back to try their fishes. read more

If you are going to tip the employee then they will take care of you otherwise they will take other customers first who tips them even tho If you have come there first. Then if you speak up about it they have the audacity to tell you to leave instead of apologizing. I gave them bigger orders before and have sent many friends to this restaurant. However not anymore. I rather take my business somewhere where they know how to talk properly and how to act properly with their customers. Owner is nice but unfortunately they are on vacation. So the staff is doing whatever the hell they want to. If you can't respect your customers might as well just shutdown your business. You are getting business because of customers. So don't be a D!ck!!! read more

Very good Bangladeshi food. I had the shrimp curry and the rohu fish curry. My boyfriend had the vegetable and potato mix. We also ordered some parathas and roti. The food is quite oily which i believe is common. The flavor of the shrimp was ok but the fish curry had amazing flavor but many bones so be careful. Worth it though. The teas here are also good and a good price as well, $1 per small cup. They are also a market and you can get any of your imported products here read more

The most amazing, affordable Indian/Bangladeshi food I have ever eaten! Such a small, unassuming place, little selection but there is no need for more because every dish is extraordinary - it really is quality over quantity. Even with a small menu they even had multiple delicious vegetarian options!! SO flavorful the chef knows all the secrets to cooking I am so happy I live close since I will definitely be back, it's an amazing go-to spot! I got 2 FULL take out boxes with 3 extra fried goodies all for $18!!!! Insane (The picture is of the vegetarian options - I got all three over rice!) read more

They are very unhygienic, keep the expired products loaded full of fungus in the store The meat butcher is very rude and unprofessional, don't buy anything at all at this store If the meat falls on the ground accidentally, they will not throw away instead they rinse and put it in the customer bag, and won't change their glove after that either He is short looking man, very very arrogant These people should understand that they are not in their local country, but in USA where rules have to be followed and selling hygienic products is #1 priority Very very bad people in the store read more

Good Bangladeshi food. The Chicken biriyani was somewhat bland and not taste like Bangladeshi Biriyani. The Rui was good but spicy. Not the best Bangladeshi restaurant in LA but comparable. However,The place did not use AC system, probably to reduce electricity bill even in a hot afternoon.Which was weird to me. read more

The tehari(beef and rice) here is just too good. They make it fresh every day and I could literally go have it everyday. Portions are very generous and they've overall done a good job at maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurants. I've also tried their tandoori chicken, achari beef and breakfast items, been pleased every time. My new go to restaurant for bengali food in Little Bangladesh. Parking is usual for the area, depends on the day and time. read more

Super tiny store. They don't have much here yet. There's like no parking at all so good luck? -they have very little stuff here so you might not find what you need but they do have the basic stuff to make Bengali dishes Fresh guava was super good!!! HOT FOODS -kinda pricy -goat curry, the meat had a very strong smell and it wasn't very good -beef curry! They charged me for it but didn't pack it to go with my order! But they did charge me - vegetable mix! Super mushy and smelled and tasted rotten! Gross! - fried fish was very good! It was seasoned and cooked right but it was $6 for that tiny little piece they give(worth it though) -Chicken biriyani was not good at all! So bland and super oily! Food was a total fail here! Was hoping to have good Bengali food read more

They're too slow and they're so rude i been waiting for my order for more than 53 minutes and never arrived red flags for this place

There are a few bodega type restaurants in Little BD! The service was a little awkward but I am not from the neighborhood. First time trying Bangladeshi food outside my mom's kitchen. We got a box of jilebis which were delicious--crispy, syrupy--and tasted fresh. The beef curry was very well spiced and the rice was the perfect consistency! read more

This place is by far the best Bengali restaurant. The service is immaculate every time I come. I used to go to multiple Bengali restaurants to purchase meats and other Bengali groceries. This place is a newer establishment, and from the first day I ordered until now, I have become an extremely loyal customer. They have a certain gracefulness in their behavior towards their customers, which makes them stand out and unique. I also provide service fast and efficiently--some of the most excellent staff and kindest service. I love this place! read more

Really mixed experience. Bad service and slow, uneven food, good price. Ordered pickup online but it weirdly got stuck at "confirming" for half an hour. When I showed up at the place, it turned out the guy had just ignored my order, neither confirming nor rejecting it. Ok, he confirms it and tells me it'll be ready in 6-7 minutes. It takes over 20 minutes before my order is actually ready. He offered tea at first apologetically, but somehow that was unavailable so he gave me an appetizer instead. I would have preferred an accurate estimate of my wait time, but the appetizer was pretty good. When I finally got my food, the dal soup was excellent, the tandoori chicken was perfectly acceptable, the beef curry sauce was lovely, but the beef itself was almost inedible--a tough mess. I'll probably give them another chance at some point, but I'll avoid the beef and order in person. read more

Maybe you need to be from Bangladesh to fully appreciate the flavors & spices of the food. I'm saying this, cuz I really loved the food. Not being biased because they're from my country, my ratings solely based on my likings. I love spicy food & just by looking at the foods on the trays you'll understand these are atomic level spicy. It's actually not that spicy, but definitely not your average Indian restaurant level. I love their chicken curry. My wife & kids love their Chicken biriyani. Most of the foods were great tasted (at least what we tried) so far. I hope, they won't change the quality or the recipes. Tired of seeing good Bangladeshi restaurants throwing their quality down to loose the customer base. Good luck to you guys & please keep it up read more

horrible food, and unsanitary. Had to wait 45 minutes for my food.

This is bad. Went last Sunday and ordered iftari. Paid $130 and after coming home, they were all soggy and wet. Oil dripping and had use paper towels to rescue them. It was waste of time and money. Samosas were bad. Chicken pagoras were over fried, begunis were very soggy. Haleem was OK. I bought many items. There groceries side is decent. I will try again their food after Ramadan and will decide. read more

A small market / cafeteria that caters mostly to the Bangladesh community. My apartment is walking distance from this place so I pass by almost everyday. During dinner time,it is filled with Bangladeshi enjoying their meals in groups. Having tried several Bangladeshi food near Ktown and liking it (very similar to Indian food), I decided to give it a try. The food section is like a deli or cafeteria (kind of like Whole Foods) where you can choose from a variety of pre-cooked food. They have a good selection of fish, beef, goat and vegetable dishes along with samosas. It's all home style cooking and they change the menu daily. The food is quite tasty and the price is very reasonable ($6 for heaping portion of beef biriyani; $7 for goat curry; $1 samosas). There's also seating available like the ones you would find at a taco shop. But I usually order the food togo. This is definitely a place I will be visiting from time to time for a quick affordable tasty meal. read more

This was our first time at Kasturi, and we liked it. We had beef biryani, fried fish, chicken curry and few sweets. The biryani was very tasty and flavorful.
