Just to make it clear - I am an overage driver who spends significant time commuting to/from work. I am in my forties and have a family. I am not a fearless teenager who likes speeding. I am a safe driver, but I had several speeding tickets in WA State and worked with several traffic attorneys. Some of them were good, while some were just a waste of my time and money. Some were expensive, some less. The truth is that the rule "you get what you pay for" is not always working here. Don't automatically assume that by hiring the most expensive traffic attorney in your city you receive the best service. Once I hired the traffic attorney who was recommended to me as one of the best in Seattle area (and I was charged accordingly), but the outcome result was very poor and I ended up paying more than twice (full ticket fee amount + attorney fee + increased car insurance payments). It was early. But now I found my "go to" traffic attorney and I plan to stick to him in case I need help again. I used the attorney service provided by Mr. Roshandel's law firm twice. In both situations Rooein worked my case himself, so this review is specifically for Mr. Roshandel. I believe Mr. Roshandel has a couple partners, but he runs his business as a smaller firm that doesn't charge their clients more for extensive overhead costs as it would be in case of large attorney firm. The first speeding ticket was a straightforward and probably most of the experienced attorneys would get the successful outcome there. But most of attorneys I worked with before would take your case and quietly work it in parallel with other cases they have. I had to call them (often getting a voicemail and no answer for a couple days) asking for the case update. With Mr. Roshandel it was a different story. At every milestone point he called me and provided with a brief update and the options that I had. I felt that I am involved in my case and learned many interesting facts and useful information that could be helpful in the future. At the end, the case was dismissed completely. I paid no ticket fee. No information went to my car insurance record. The goal was achieved. But the next time I got a speeding ticket, I was returning back home from very long day in the office and was late to the very last ferry. Trying to catch that last ferry and to not spend my Friday night in the hotel apart from my family, I significantly exceeded the speed limit. The ticket fee was high and it was given in a small city where ticket fees are big part of that city income. I called Mr. Roshandel office and described the situation. Rooein was honest with me - the ticket was bad and our chances to dismiss it completely were low. We discussed and decided that our focus on this situation should be keeping this ticket out of my car insurance record - otherwise my insurance payments would jump really high. At the same time I was prepared to pay the full amount of my traffic ticket fine. Long story short... Rooein used very interesting tactic on extending the ticket hearing date and getting us more time for research, focusing on our ultimate goal and working in background with the freshly appointed new prosecutor to decrease the ticket fine. And it worked! We finally got the offer from the prosecutor - I would attend 4 hours safety driving on-line training and in return the ticket will be changed to non-moving violation where I would need to pay a half of what initially issued. Again, during these several months, Rooein kept me updated on the ticket progress and at every step I knew that I am in good hands. Now about the attorney fees - the point that very important for most of us... For the quality work that I received from Mr. Roshandel, I think his attorney charges are right and fair. He saved me twice from paying higher car insurance bills and I felt what I paid was very adequate. I called and left a message and he returned it almost immediately I was very impressed with the speed and professional nature he conducts business. Roo is everything you want and need and makes you feel like family during the process. Beyond impressed with the service from Roshandel. I got my first speeding ticket, which was a pretty big one, and I found Roo online. Since it was my first ticket, I decided to go in talk to him in person about resolving it. This was my first time working with a lawyer so I expected him to be uptight and serious, which he was serious but he was also very easy to talk to and definitely made me feel better about the whole situation. Dr Roshandel is the greatest lawyer I know. He has fought most of my traffic cases, from infractions as minor as red light tickets to larger speeding tickets.
