He clearly explained the whole process on how to respond to the ticket, what to say in the email, and how to request a deferral during the hearing. He even told me that I could handle it on my own. Attorney Paul was also extra patient and respectful, as I am not a native English speaker. I didn't end up using his service, but I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and understanding attorney.

I used this firm to help with a protection order over the last few years. Initially, the…read morerepresentative was beneficial in explaining the process and making sure I felt as comfortable as possible. However, I soon learned it was because I did all the initial leg work (filling out the petition, submitting evidence, etc.). Throughout the process, the representative was increasingly hard to get ahold of. They did not answer questions or concerns promptly, nor did they file paperwork correctly with the court making my case look ridiculous to the judge and did not give the opposing party notice of the proceedings. Thankfully, the judge was willing to reschedule for a few weeks later which allowed my lawyer to follow the correct process. My attorney waited until the last minute before the rescheduled hearing to prepare me with the opposing council's response and proceeded to make comments under their breath during the proceedings. During the hearing, I once again found out that a significant portion of my documentation was either left out of the submitted court file or submitted incorrectly which allowed the opposing council to have part of it thrown out. While the ruling did go in my favor, the whole experience was awkward, anxiety-producing, and extremely unprofessional. Because of the inadequate filing by my legal representation, I had to miss a significant amount of work and pay for twice the amount of estimated legal time because of the delayed/rescheduled hearing time/dates. I guess its true that you get what you pay for - word to the wise, think twice about hiring budget-friendly representation.

I am also a lawyer, and when I needed someone to defend a State Patrol traffic ticket that was completely unreasonable, I wanted someone else to represent me since "a lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client." I've heard who the go-to lawyer in the region is for traffic tickets, but I didn't get a great feeling from my communications with her about my case. Omar was a much better fit for my needs. He was reasonably priced, answered my questions quickly and completely took ownership right from the beginning. He assured me I didn't need to go to the hearing and would handle it all. In fact, I would have been able to completely forget about it after hiring Omar, except that after Omar got it dismissed I was curious so I listened to an audio recording of the hearing that I got from the county. Omar was great in court! My case was a challenge since the judge was ready to completely ignore the court rules of the State of Washington (IRLJ) in order to deny my motion, even after the applicable rule was read into the record! This is why people need lawyers. Sometimes judges are just wrong -- the law is immense and arcane and judges can't know everything despite their best intentions -- someone needs to be sharp enough to bring mistakes to their attention when the time comes! Omar persisted, showed the judge where he was wrong and got a dismissal of my ticket. I'm very happy with the result and even though I'm a lawyer myself, I won't hesitate to hire Omar again. read more

I have received MANY speeding tickets and my previous attorney could no longer get my new speeding tickets reduced or dropped but Omar has taken care of 2 of my tickets now. She was very generous with her time and expertise. Although they elected to not hire any attorney for the matter (partially with the help of Ms. Donaldson's advice), I would absolutely keep her at the top of my list if we have to deal with a traffic ticket in future. I rang Lisa and she called me back right away. She explained to me my options and since I am on the road 3.5 weeks out of the month I opted to retain her services. She did a great job keeping me updated every couple weeks and was very transparent about how the outcome could go. As she predicted, the ticket was dismissed because it had no basis. Thank you so much for a pleasurable experience ! I hope I do not need traffic attorneh services in the future but if I do I will definitely be reaching out to Lisa !!
