Awesome spot off the Pinellas trail in the Factory space. A spectacular rectangle bar and wide open spaces! Be sure to bring your wallet :-)

We…read moreshowed up right after they opened and were given the option to sit at the bar or take a table that we might have to give up when the reservation arrived later - took the bar. To drink - the "Osaka Mule" and the "Shiso Heavy". Both were good, though we recognized that the Osaka Mule had a slight edge on the Shiso Heavy. Neither of us are normally sake drinkers so this was nice and refreshing for us - the Osaka Mule had nice hints of cucumber and the wasabi salt on the rim was a huge hit with us. To eat - we ordered the gyoza and the miso udon. The gyoza was incredible - an explosion of flavor unlike anything else I've had in a long time. Truly unforgettable and honestly the best part of my entire weekend. The miso udon was good as well - my partner thought the udon might've been just slightly overcooked. We split both and then decided to order the gyudon as well afterwards. The gyudon was also very good - daikon radish was a great addition to the flavor! With respect to the atmosphere/ambience - it's a small place, but cozy. The music was nice - the bartender allowed me to browse some of the records. They have a great collection and I enjoyed listening to several of their selection! It was a little pricy for me, but ultimately, to be expected of such a great experience. Will return again!

Stop one on our date night…read more In Between Days on 1st Ave S is a must. We walked in not knowing what to expect. Casual is accepted but I would opt for a little more on the business casual side in the evenings. The drink flight was a whole experience; in the best way possible. We then ventured to their "cocktails" which is all sake based. I opted for the Sangria and Pete got the Mule. Both are highly recommended to try! We decided to share a plate so we could try another location after, but let me tell you.... The Gyoza is so good I had to close my eyes and chew as slow as possible for fear of the flavor leaving me. Did I mention they received a spot on the Michelin guide this year?! They definitely deserve it between their rotating menu and creative cocktails, this is definitely not a one and done location. Bring the expectation and leave satisfied.

Thank you. We started with their Masa pancakes which gave a thick yet light taste to it. That lemon and blueberry combo was the bomb. The wife has the Tuna Tosadas which were fresh and flavorful! It was so good. I had the Chorizo Verde Tacos which was soooo good that I ate all 3. I ordered a side of home fries but I didn't even need them. Their coffee was amazing too and I forgot where it was from but again ... bomb. We'll def be back in the future and next time get some cocktails!

3.9‑Star Review (Weeknight Dinner, St. Pete)…read more I'm a St. Pete local and would rate this place 3.9 stars - not quite a 4. We had a reservation for six and didn't realize that meant mandatory patio seating, which was extremely hot with loud fans. For the prices, the seating was a letdown, and the $13 mocktails felt steep for this area. The food ranged from amazing to just okay: * Korean BBQ Chicken Sandwich -- wow * Classic Cheeseburger -- really good * Piri Chicken -- not good * Mushroom Paella -- pretty good * Goat Cheese Blossoms -- I loved them, others didn't * Tom Yum Shrimp -- really good * Rosemary Fries -- inconsistent but delicious * Summer Cobb Gem Lettuce -- delicious Our group of six was split: 1 wouldn't return, 2 would consider another chance, 2 liked it and said of course will be back, and 1 thought it was five stars. The service was great, and the dishes that hit were really good - but the heat, pricing, and inconsistency kept it under four stars for me. It was after work so drinking was not the main event so no real information on the cocktails.

The concepts are similar, but not quite the same. Bar Mezzo is more cocktail forward, although it houses some of the same cocktails featured at intermezzo, including espresso based cocktails. It has one of the few espresso martinis in town that feature fresh brewed espresso. One of the best things about this bar is that it focuses on the art of cocktail making and features the bartenders as artisans. Every employee is the epitome of top of the line hospitality. Each cocktail on the menu is unique and you won't find it replicated locally. The menu is seasonal, so you can always try something new. It's the kind of place where you can say to the bartender "I'm feeling something gin based, maybe something blackberry flavored" and they will make you a unique cocktail based on what you're feeling, even if you don't know exactly what you want. During the month of December, they hold "miracle at mezzo"- a Christmas themed pop-up that was previously hosted at intermezzo. During the cooler months, weekends and during the Christmas popup, it's gets extremely crowded, sometimes forming a line out the door. Depending on the weather, they will open up the front garage style door for more standing space. You should expect a 30-37$ tab for two cocktails, or maybe 15-18$ if you catch a happy hour special.

It was midday on a weekend, (Apr 2026), and they were serving a short lunch menu. We were tempted by their nitro cold-brew, but instead moved on to chomp on fun zingy chili-lime yucca fries with chipotle aioli, completely compatible with ice-cold Pacifica Clara pilsner and Modelo lager from among craft and classics on-tap. This is a pleasant spot for a Saturday or Sunday midday retreat. We gotta come back in the evening (Thu-Sun) when we're cool enough for their speakeasy :-)

Ever take a bite so good you immediately start planning your next visit?…read more Y'all, Pulpo Kitchen + Lounge is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in downtown St. Pete! As a chef and a massive foodie, I absolutely LOVE the creativity coming from this kitchen. They keep those authentic flavors bold without watering them down, and the sauces and purées make every plate worth exploring. Seafood paella, smoked octopus croquettes, ahi tuna tartare... everything was bursting with flavor! But we need to talk about those pork belly dumplings! Roasted baby carrots, hearts of palm, pomegranate, agrodolce, pork belly crumble, basil oil, scallions, and the most INCREDIBLE foie gras cream. Rich, sweet, tangy, savory... so much happening in one dish, and it all worked beautifully. That cream alone had me chasing every last bit around the plate! Even my nonalcoholic watermelon drink was spot on. So tasty and refreshing! This is the kind of food that stops the conversation because everyone needs to try a bite. Pulpo, you've got my foodie heart. Absolutely top-notch! Have you been yet? What should I order next? #PulpoKitchenAndLounge #DowntownStPete #DTSP #StPeteFoodies #EatSipTravel

Came to Tampa for the Florida State Fair, spent the night before, and I wanted to find somewhere…read morenice for dinner. My vegan friend recommended Good Intentions, and I haven't had a nice vegan dinner in a while, so I decided to come see what this place was all about, in honor of my beloved Ethos. RIP. We make reservations, show up, park anywhere we can find in this wild, wild West portion of town, and start browsing the menu. It sounds absolutely delicious. We started off with the Southern Sriracha Crab Cakes (Hearts of palm and jackfruit crab cakes, sriracha pimento, Thai chili glaze, seitan bacon crumbles, pickled fresno, scallion, sesame). These were great. Very crispy, the inside was the spitting image of crab cake filler, and there was just enough Old Bay to really sell it. Spicy sauces and other elements made this quite the lovely little app. We also had the Crispy Brussels Sprouts (Dan Dan tahini, toasted cashews, pickled fresnos, scallion). Wow, this was good. Tahini was a great choice, the sprouts were crispy crispy, and the cashews added a wonderful little crunch. My main was the Kimchi Fried Rice (Crispy fried jasmine rice, scrambled JustEgg, kimchi, sweet soy reduction, fried crab balls, kewpie aioli, scallion, sesame seeds). Better than some of the non-vegan fried rices I've had in my life! Great rice with some nice crisp, flavorful but not too funky kimchi, a nice soy sauce, and a nice aioli to sauce things up a bit. I also got to try a bucatini bolognese of some sort that I can't find on the menu anymore. Maybe it was a special. But it was good. Really deceivingly real meat crumbles, a lovely sauce, and bucatini is one of my favorite noodles. Big fan. Overall, this was not a good vegan meal. It was a good meal. I love places like this. I think that more people need exposure to places like this. I'll be back.
