The ground floor is ok, you'll find a few clothes shops there, shoe shop, butchers, bank(s), news agent, sports shop, shoe repair/key smith, jewellery, hardware/gardening shop, big grocery store. And a public toilet, for which you'll pay 20¢... Parking space is available but it is a disaster, especially during the festive seasons when this place runs out of parking space quickly. If you're not driving a car, you can use buses No 15, 15B, 65(B) and 49. All of their stops are in a convenient walking distance from the shopping centre. All and all, it's a good place for common day-to-day shopping. Not so good for those unable to walk up the stairs or with buggies. Prices vary depending on the shop you visit. Car park is free for four hours, monitored by a hired car park management company.

Nutgrove has some of Ireland's biggest names in retail, including, Tesco, Dunnes Stores, Boots, Penny's, Hughes & Hughes, Argos, Bus Stop and Golden Discs. Not to mention the Carphone Warehouse, O2 and Vodafone. It also has lots of other cool stores to fulfill all you shopping needs like a chemist, opticians, fashion and shoe stores, jewelers, book and stationary store and arts and hobbies stores. Apart from shopping it offers lots of services like, Post Office, Halifax, ATM's, Social Welfare Office, Tax Office, Credit Union, and lots of passport photo machines! As for food, my favourite type of service, well there is enough artery clogging fast food here to satisfy the fatty in all of us, McDonald's, Burger King, Eddie Rockets, Pretzel King, India Gate Restaurant and they are in the process of building a Subway Sandwich! My car was damaged in their car park because of the centre's very outdated standards. They refused to pay for the damage caused - their excuse: the place was built in 2005 before the current standards were in place. An uncaring, mean, unfair management with no sense of social responsibility to their disabled customers whatsoever. Appalling! Reflects really badly on the owners of the centre. I made a complaint to the UK owners about my treatment there but they haven't even bothered to respond. Beware parking there. Won't be shopping there again.

If you come here around 1&2 though all of the kids getting out of school come there to congregate lol. There's also a hairdressers. Merrion Centre covers all the bases and all of the "just-in-case" things that might occur to you that you need while doing your weekly shop. Parkings free with a maximum stay of 2 hours.

Having never been to the country, I was unfamiliar with most of the shops, but I took note of the few I recognized (Boots, TK Maxx, Claire's.) We were momentarily tempted to try the Chinese restaurant upstairs but thought better of it. Restrooms are also located on the uppermost level. Not super bustling, seemed to be going the way of most malls. And although I wasn't taken by any store in particular, I enjoyed the structure's design & seeing what a Dublin shopping centre has to offer.

Terrible customer service!…read more My mother purchased a Samsung fridge/freezer from Power City. Size is far too big for her kitchen. Although no seals have been opened or removed from the fridge, and she has the sales receipt, Power City are refusing to offer a refund/exchange as the unit has been removed from the box. Punch line....Power City took the box back with them after delivering the unit! Have been emailing back and forth the customer service desk, with absolutely no real customer service provided. Have even attempted to contact Samsung as the manufacturers to see if they could provide us an empty box....to which Power City replied our 'contact is with Power City and not Samsung'. In addition, Power City have not offered to check with their own suppliers for a box, or to check their own warehouse for said box seeing as their couriers took back the box!! Although I have very clearly explained the situation to Power City and that my mother is not in a financial position to be out of pocket €1929.95 with a fridge that is basically the size of her entire kitchen...Power City's response has consistently been a one liner email saying 'sorry we can't refund' Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from a reputable company...
