When I arrived I was surprised to pay for parking in the lot across the street when there was no ticket system or gate however, street parking was a little cheaper. The skate location is located on the 2nd floor and of course there is a waiver to be signed upon entering. They have lockers and coat check for I believe $10 extra but, definitely pack lite if possible. The have a small bar in the back for drinks and several couches and chairs for seating. The DJ was on point as I have not been skating in years. We were all having fun as the night was coming to a close. I requested a song from the DJ and as soon as I heard the song I my skates caught on to one another which ultimately resulted in the fracture of my ankle. I was in excruciating pain and staff carrying me to couch and provided me with an ice bag and water until I was able to get further medical attention. All in All~ it was a fun experience until the end. Needless to say I have retired from skating and will not be back.

My family of four were the only ones at the stand to start with. A couple arrived during the process of the employee serving us. She gave us all our cones and bowls but forgot the pint. I had to wait until she had served the other couple and took their payment before reminding her we had not gotten our pint yet. She apologized and grabbed it. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but it did delay us a bit. While the prices are comparable to other small batch, artisanal, local ice cream places they aren't cheap. With the pint, two cones, two bowls and tip we spent around thirty dollars. Overall I am a fan of Taharka Brothers and thought their stand at Lexington Market was cutely designed with enough space to provide about a dozen ice cream flavors to be scooped and a number of pint options.
