One of the few places you can go and get a custom boot! Came here a few months back to get my boyfriend a custom made boot! He got to pick out the colors and design! Which for someone who doesn't get a lot of selection was wonderful! The turn around time for all of this was maybe 2 months. It took longer because we didn't have a chance to do a pickup, but the owner was super nice and patient with us! The whole experience was great! The books are cute and well done! The price for custom books was also not bad at all! What I also love, is that if there is any issues with your shoes, he will look and do the repair. It's also not with just custom boots, but also any work shoe or book you have! I once saw him take in clowns shoes that needed repair! I also like that he has shoes for sale in the front. Treated my over 500 dollar custom boots like well like they were everyday assembly line boots made from glue and plastic. Sheared screws, mangled my leather, did not stitch through but didn't remove old stitching, stitching isn't even straight. My boots feel cheaper because of the service they did to them I wouldn't take any of my boots here again. read more

Glad a coworker recommended this place. I ended up going a little later than planned, during the day and was happily contacted by the owner. He welcomes me in and asked what I needed done. When I showed him my severely worn down boots, he quickly went to the back and showed me what he had in mind for a replacement. I had been told of other places around town, who charge anywhere between $75-$100 for a sole replacement. The owner quoted $75 and said they'll be done possibly by the next day, if not by then the morning after. A little more than a day later I got the call and my boots were like new again. No more squeaky, lopsided, worn down boots. I would say this place needs to stay in business. Close by for anyone in the Rosedale area and by the looks of it he even does his own custom jobs for boots and accessories. Definitely 5 stars! read more

Rosedale boot repair $90.00 for new soles- I came here in Jan 2023 to get my red wing boots repaired. The soul in my soles had died and gone to heaven so I needed new ones. The owner had different soles to choose from but recommended the correct ones for my line of work. My boots were extremely wet so he said it would be a few days to dry them and then repair which was okay with me. I got my boots back in 5 days and the boots were brand new! He did a great job repairing them. They are waterproof as well. Highly recommend. read more

Took 6 weeks for a simple repair, after calling them twice a week December and January and all I got was promises to get it done. Finally, after my husband called many times, they told us it is done, but we'll see. Took a month for the 2 inch leather repair.
