FOrgive me for taking 2 prizes but I couldnt decide what to have.. I wanted the gummy glitter paste as I needed something to keep myself calm.. and a slapping bracelet.. What sold me the most was the chalks. There was this fun lady who was waving a wand of bubbles and ask perrmission to draw, and the moment she said yes..I immediatly bend down on my knees and draw the first thing on my mind.. MERMAID ARIEL. THen when that was done.. I had more spare time so I drew GENIE JASMINE once i finished i manage to get up and began to browse the furniture.. The staff already placed their things inside but let me allowed to draw some more. They were very kindful and enjoyed the image i did. They do have some nice things like tvs and tables and such but mom loves to shop there taking her sweet time as we travel very very far just to be here ( and a few stores we love to go to). Thank you so much for letting me draw the side walk. I love disney but these two gave me happyness and joy. This made my day as I couldn't go to Comic con this year and felt heartbroken v_v...but that sidewalk drawing made my day for the better! Thank you ;_; - hachimitsu p..s.: SOrry i drew over the names over the side walk v_v... I didn't realized they were there the moment i drew the fin and the genie lamp v_v!

I always have so much fun walking around Cannery Row. There are so many unique little shops to…read moreexplore, and I can never leave without picking up a few treats or souvenirs. The candy stores are always a favorite, and I love how every shop has something different to offer. The views of the ocean are absolutely gorgeous, making it easy to spend a few hours just strolling around and taking everything in. Whether you're visiting Monterey for the first time or you've been here before, it's a great place to shop, snack, and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. It's definitely one of my favorite places to stop whenever I'm in the area.

It's pretty much a must when visiting Monterey…read more Yes, it's geared mainly for visitors not locals but, with the greatest aquarium in the world and the history of this part of California, there is something for everyone here. Besides the numerous gifts shops, hotels, restaurants, and bakeries, I enjoyed walking the street and reading the signs (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=264&select=_GeO7eI7DvfdHmFW4m0_fw), (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=264&select=2_is_N1U14FAI_e3OvKzRQ), (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=264&select=EZRWT_hc1f8giWPM7Aajdg), and admiring the statues along the walkway. There are iconic people (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=264&select=-5PpBw_v1zzCEwAyUUxgVA) as well as historical memorials (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=264&select=eSUIHGmndBCAg82Ch67zTQ) to the people who built this community. A mix of various shops, tourist gift sellers, restaurants, hotels, and eateries (ice cream shops, delis, and bakeries). On one end, you'll find the aquarium. The other way, you'll reach the Monterey Plaza Hotel and San Carlos Beach. I mainly walked this my 1st evening here on a Thursday and it was on the quiet side (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=264&select=zeTCcVncpby2ciMVUrkz6Q). When I returned Saturday afternoon, the streets were filled but not overwhelming so since there were no major events on this weekend (auto show previous weekend and the Monterey Jazz Festival two weekends later). The weather was comfortable with a cool ocean breeze. It's probably best to prepare your activities somewhere along here after you visit the aquarium if that's on your schedule. Enjoy this part of Monterey and learn more about the history here.

Missing limbs. Stressed. Toxic Painted shells. I wanted to help offering jungle bedding and food and they would not accept. The sales woman was rude and rolled her eyes at me. Monterey tourist T-shirts, board shorts, tote bags, frisbee, hats even nail polish. This shop is fun to just play in as there are little UV "charging stations" all around the shop so you can run around and hold each item up to the UV source and watch how and what color each item morphs into! Black and white ladies board shorts = pink flowers ooooh . . . clear glitter nail polish = sparkly red nails sweeet . . . clear child's headband = multicolored red/blue/green ahhh! After playing with just about everything in the store ended up with a couple $3 key chains and some hair clips for $8.
