Importantly, he was also accommodating and flexible when I had messed up a time for my appointment and came 6 hours later. He could have advised me to reschedule and pay for my missed appointment, but he kindly agreed to work me in, meaning he left his work day much later than expected. Shout out to the office manager/scheduler staff as well, who was always friendly and efficient. Strongly recommend this group, particularly given their very convenient location downtown just above the Farragut North metro station

I can't be certain I am not overpaying for services here. You get constant reminders to pay your balance (sometimes pay or you can't schedule) BUT the portal only shows billing statements (an unclear pdf of the visits there *was* an outstanding balance for). It's unclear because the portal does NOT give you the option to see (1) Past payments you made, (2) An explanation or summary of WHY your balance is what it is. CFAO (the people behind PhysioDC) also don't necessarily map your checks to the specific appt -- so it's impossible to track why you STILL have a balance despite you having sent a check each time you were billed. Very stressful, unclear. It's not right to have a payment balance and not make it easy for patients to understand where the balance is coming from (or dispute it).

The staff was friendly and welcoming and my appointment actually started on time. The assistant greeted me and took some information and within a minute the Dr. was there. He was warm and friendly, answered all my questions, joked around a little and quickly assessed and diagnosed my problem (trigger finger). The assistant prepped me for a shot and then Dr. Moss was back to administer. He was gentle! Told me I didn't need a follow-up unless the problem continued and suggested that if I had any questions he'd be happy to talk to me on the phone instead of an office visit. On my way out the clerk was very helpful and I was in and out within a half hour so I had time to get coffee as I was not late to work as I had expected to be. Not once did I feel frustrated, neglected or in the way as is common in many of the medical offices I've been to.

I read up on Dr Ben and this guy has serious "clout" in the foot and ankle ortho world READ HIS BIO I went into the appt knowing I was in good hands. My bunion was not only ugly but was interfering with my day to day and it hurt by days end. I had a lot of question for Dr Ben and he guided me to the best way to address my bunion. On a side note, I was fascinated by the engineering behind the surgery , Dr Stein answered all my questions and it was fascinating how the procedure is done and also the history of bunion surgery and all it's advances. Dr Ben is great/efficient/quick so I wasn't under anesthesia long. I know that is a concern for some people, but I have a strong heart asf Props to the Mass Ave Surgical Center! lol, not my first trip there and always "concierge" service. Everyone's post-op is gonna be different...mine required ICE! Ice on the ankle to manage post op pain. After a day I really didn't have pain to speak of. Swelling, yes. Excellence, Convenience, Compassion…read more I needed serious rehabilitation on my very painful shoulder from a chronic tennis injury. Referral to the STAR group (lead by Katherine Braun) was a total bingo. Initial evaluation by Katherine was comprehensive and thoughtful, and I was helped by her printouts of beginning exercises to do at home. Ongoing therapy with Allison was personalized, effective, and encouraging, especially when I needed it most. Alison made videos of me doing several exercises I did at the facility, so I could repeat the exercises at home. That helped a lot. Allison is a professional gem. Am back to tennis! The entire professional and administrative staff is wonderful and supportive. This group deserves the outstanding respect they have earned, and they also have my deep gratitude. As a physician, I will surely recommend them highly to others

Turning 96 in June 2024, I have had excellent health but experienced a number of minor injuries…read moreconducive to using physical therapy. So I had had previous experience with this kind of treatment. The time I spent at Star was the best. To begin with, the facility is pleasant, with large windows, and very well laid out so that three or four therapists can work freely with patients with different levels of need. The atmosphere is welcoming and exudes a sense of community, working together to produce comfort and high performance. Sam Dozier, receptionist and Therapist Aide, greets people warmly, tirelessly arranges schedules to suit your convenience, and throughout your time there offers compassionate support. I worked alternately with Kyra Corradin and Aysha Ehsan. To sum up, I found them to be kind, caring, and focused. They are professionals with a special understanding of the power of movement to refresh and restore. Although work in the sessions is directed to particular areas of the body, the target is the whole person, not just a sore neck or knee. Kyra and Aysha began each session by asking how I was feeling that day with an interest not only in physical issues, but also in my spirits and general outlook. Their goal was to make me feel better through movement specifically directed to areas needing attention. If I indicated pain in a particular area, they would begin by massaging that spot, literally demonstrating the common expression, "I can feel your pain." I always did feel better after my sessions. However, both therapists strongly emphasized the importance of taking personal responsibility for learning and doing prescribed exercises at home. I thought they were great teachers, very good practitioners of their trade, and good at motivating me to carry on the lessons ourselves.

I had been having trouble with persistent Achilles tendon and planter fascia issues. I previously had done physical therapy for about three months with a different provider, but it really did not solve the problem. When I landed on Ms. Dickson's door step, I was in a lot of pain and had been dealing with the issue for over a year. Ms. Dickson was very patient with me and spent much one-on-one time isolating the various issues. She is different from the typical physical therapy places in the sense that she won't give up on you, gives you tons of individual attention and works on the ailing body part or parts (!) to get everything in working properly and in alignment. My previous experiences with physical therapy generally included maybe 15 minutes with the physical therapist before being handed off to an assistant for the exercise portion of the therapy. Ms. Dickson works with you exclusively, both in the hands on work and the exercise portion. Her office is very well run. While she doesn't process insurance, she will provide the documentation needed to submit to your individual insurance company and this documentation is provided promptly. My insurance company accepted her bills without question. She also has an automated email reminder of upcoming appointments which I found helpful. Finally, and most importantly, she checks in with you regularly and is available for any questions or concerns. Ms. Dickson responds quickly to any questions I had, which I have greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Danelle Dickson for any physical therapy needs you may have. My son suffered a serious tibial tubercle avulsion fracture in July that required emergency…read moresurgery, and his recovery has been extraordinary. I truly believe so much of that progress is the result of the care, attention, and expertise he has received at CNMR. I especially want to recognize Jonathan M. Kula and our physical therapist Megan Hartnett. Jonathan's assessment was incredibly thorough and thoughtful. I reached out after calling several places but wasn't getting my questions answered. I left a message and Jonathan called back within an hour. He made time for us to come in the next day (even though he was booked solid) and even offered to meet me and my son in front of the building in case I needed help getting into the office. He and Megan Hartnett took the time to understand my son's injury, read all of the reports, asked pertinent questions, and then proceeded to explain to us the plan and process for his recovery. His first priority was getting my son mobile and moving forward safely and confidently. That level of attention gave us tremendous reassurance during what had been a very stressful experience for our family. Megan Hartlett has been equally exceptional throughout his rehabilitation. She has approached his physical therapy with such care, patience, and skill, while also knowing when to challenge him and help him recognize how much progress he is making. Watching him regain his strength, mobility, and confidence has been remarkable. We still have a ways to go but here we are over the half way mark and I'm happy. There is a big difference between simply providing treatment and truly caring about a patient's recovery. Jonathan and Megan have made us feel that difference every step of the way. We still have more of the recovery journey ahead of us, but I wanted to take a moment now to give them both a very special shout-out and to say how grateful we are for the care my son has received. This isn't a fancy 10,000 square foot facility that looks super slick. I've been to those and nothing compares than the personal patient care. And every single person here--from the warm welcoming smile of Ms. Sharon to the other PTs I've never even met but see in passing--all have been nothing but kind, courteous and caring. This is a special practice that deserves special recognition.

But to start: He genuinely cares about his patients. Not just the one on one care for PT, but as you as a person! I get to spend an hour with him and have really good conversation along with getting excellent care. He is very "hands on" which I appreciate. He listens to your concerns. And he goes hands-on whether it be massage or be cupping. And then gives you exercises and make sure you don't leave until you understand what you have to do. I even convinced my own wife to give Jordan a try as her PT and she truly understood what I was talking about. The front office staff is always helpful and polite Every time I call she picks up immediately and it's very helpful. They take my type of insurance which would be a dealbreaker if they did not accept Blue Cross Blue Shield. Every appointment with Dr Jordan, I leave feeling heard, encouraged, and like real progress is being made. If you're looking for a PT who will treat you like a whole person and not just a case file, look no further. Highest possible recommendation! It'll be a sad day when I no longer have any PT issues. Because I won't have an excuse To come here.
