I've been a customer of Rose Nails for almost a decade. I have seen many changes and all for the better. The salon is clean, staff is friendly and very talented. You can always plan to have a good laugh. It's a home away from home. The salon is fully staffed, and each nail Tech has their specialties. Under Annie's reign, the salon has become, professional, fun, the quality of work has increased and their decoration of the Christmas tree brightens everyone's day. I see Annie, fair warning if go to Annie you are lucky but make appointments in advance. lol I have seen almost everyone and I'm always pleased at the end. I wish I can give this place no stars. Their new assistant is rude & cannot even properly cut nails or glue acrylic base on nails properly. She got mad at me when I told her she cut too close to my skin. She walked away with a attitude & had Kai take over. Kai is loud, rude, & as a Black woman I felt offended at the fact that she was trying to "be hip" & changed up the way she spoke to me. She is a culture appropriator & tries to fit in too much instead of being professional & do her job. This will be the last time I ever step foot into this place again. THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN! First I asked multiple times for powder gel, they proceeded to pull out the UV gel! I let it slide.Three days later 4 nails had already started falling off!I went straight there that next morning even though I don't live anywhere close to this place! They made me wait an hour and at this point I just wanted them off. After removing them they asked if I wanted a full set in which I responded with "why would I want a full set if the first ones fell off" so instead they cleaned up my nails and told me to have a good day. When I asked for a half refund because I understand they have a business to run, they refused and said their boss wasn't there but no where in that place does it say you can't do refunds. NOT good. I usually go to a nail salon down the street from my house but they had closed early and I was desperate. My normal 'go to' is a gel manicure. Simple enough right? I should have left as soon as I walked in, HORRIBLE décor. Very dirty and cluttered. I sit down and it takes them 10 mins to see me.. ok fine. They foil wrap my nails and leave me sitting there for FORTY MINUTES... after a 1/2 hour I asked them if it was ok for my nails to be soaking in acetone for that long. They said ten more mins. So I listened. Finally takes the foil off and gets frustrated because my last polish was glitter and couldn't get it off easily. She used the electric file and filed them down to almost tissue paper. As far as the process of painting etc, that was all the same. I left and wasn't blown away, but they looked ok. Three days later they were peeling off in sheets and my papery nails were bending and splitting and catching on everything. Never ever ever going here again. read more

I was waiting for 30 minutes for a fill and then some person came in without an appointment and received service right away. I said something about it and my friend I was with backed me up. The lady said, "Your nails are too hard." The other customer was getting the same service as me. This is the second time that I have gone in and have been waiting and then they take someone who came in after me first. My mother also went there a couple weeks ago and four days later a nail came off. She went to get the ONE nail repaired and was vocal about the reason for her visit. Then the nail tech was adamant about taking ALL of her nails off and redoing them. Then they charged her $30. We've been coming here for years and lately this business has not acted like they want our business at all. read more

Do not go here. I was recommended by a friend and she was very embarrassed that we even went here. We both waited more than 2 hours! Not only the waiting sucked but tbe fact that someone came in behind us and didn't have an appointment was helped first. Then I was waiting and waiting and someone finally did my friends pedi and I'm still waiting.. I said something about a lady being helped in front of me and of the girls that works there said well we need to make money.. well I was going to give you good money like I usually do when I get my nails done. Horrible service, I stopped in because they had a sale on a full set of acrylic nails for $20... Anyways they over charged me for that I got regular length nails for $35 with no design, they use cheap chemicals that started burning my nails after they were done, they didn't do a good job it looked like I needed a fill right after they were done, but my next biggest mistake is I needed my eyebrows done bad they were only $7 and some change, the lady's hands smelled like nasty old fish, she did a horrible job and I'm still struggling to grow them back, anyways about a few days later when the cheap horribly done nails fell off I noticed I had horrible nail fungus... I will never go back there ever again The other places I goto charge $30 for a full set of long length nails or $40 for long length with a design and I can make them last any where between 2-4 weeks without them falling off or before I need a fill Beware of these people there cheap Chinese chemicals, and there very unsanitary conditions I would give it 0 stars if I could read more

This place is very unsanitary and dirty which is upsetting given we are in a global pandemic and need to be more careful with stuff like this. I went to this place a few years back for a pedicure and got Hand Foot and Mouth Disease because they do not clean their supplies before using them on different clients. After a few years, I started going there again because their prices for acrylic nails were a lot more affordable than other nail places. I have been cut multiple times. A slip up is okay, but with the amount of times this has happened it seems more like carelessness. A friend of mine recently went here for her acrylics and they cut her so badly that all of her fingers got infected. she took a break for about 2 months to let her fingers heal and as soon as she went back it happened again. When she confronted them about it, they said it must be an allergic reaction to something else she touched, and it was not their fault. THIS PLACE DOES NOT CLEAN ANY OF THEIR SUPPLIES. read more

2nd time I came in and they made me bleed! I used to come in often given that it was close to home, but I think I am all done. I looked around and the place was filthy dirty. I have been going here for about 2 yrs. Service is spotty at best. Kai, one of the workers, is wonderful. The others, not so much. The last pedicure I had, about 3 weeks ago was horrible! It was done by the owner, Julie. She spent most of the pedicure talking on her iPhone or listening to music on it. She managed to take off part of the skin on my toenail when she trimmed it. A good friend of mine went here and and something went really wrong the skin on her finger got cut n hurt really bad n was bleeding the woman rubbed it to make it stop bleeding n finished not even with a sorry it was still hurting a couple days later n started to get infected she went back n they said oh that didn't happen bacause of them still not even a sorry so she went to Pequot walk in medical center n the doctor said she was cut with a dirty file that had bacteria on it n she would have to come back a few more times to have it drained n cleaned n it would be weeks till it was healed she took the report from the hospital back to the owner n she told her that she didn't remember her n to leave there was nothing she could do for her n it looked like she was a dirty person with her hands n this is farther from the truth she's very clean n is a bartender moral of the story it took 5 weeks to heal n was very painful n nasty n I would never tell anyone to come to this place unless they want time off work pain that was unbearable n the worse service of their lives it was below a 1 star read more

I have been there several times and the service is the worst ever. You have to ask for the basic included in the mani/pedi. They dont push back your cuticles or give you a complete fill so you have to go in earlier and sometimes one of the employees has an attitude. They also never clean under your nails.
