DON'T COME HERE!! Extremely rude. Over priced. Completely ruined my clothes. Turn around time is ridiculous. Don't waste your money here.

Been using them almost 20 years. They have always been reasonably priced and reasonably fast. I have probably used them 300-400 times and don't remember ever having a problem there. But no business is perfect and the couple of negative reviews here are probably just folks who unfortunately experienced a mistake. I actually like this place. They are pretty reasonable and my clothes have always looked good upon receipt. Compared to places in Birmingham, their cost is much more reasonable. I keep going there even though it's not that close to my house anymore if that gives you any comfort. read more

I have been going here for years. The service is ALWAYS great and they always do a good job on ALL items. I have never had anything get lost in their system. Not sure how that would happen the way they number things on arrival. Give them a try.....I think you will like them !! read more

Is it me? Or does it really take a concerted effort to find a reputable dry cleaner that offers great customer service? One that actually executes the service associated with the title "DRY C-L-E-A-N-E-R". Any person who has a career that requires a certain "dress code" can understand the frustration involved in such a search. Especially because dry cleaning isn't CHEAP! I mean, at the end of the day it's a necessary evil. Oh, and by the way, those dryer products didn't work for me so it's off to the cleaners I go. I have been a customer of Rose Dry Cleaners for about a year. Prior to my last experience with them I had been provided great service. I've never had a complaint about the cleanliness or freshness of my clothes or the service I received. Had I written this review 2 months ago they would have been rated 5 stars! (Here comes the proverbial . . .) BUT because I am speaking of my most recent experience - it ain't all roses. I average about $120/month on dry cleaning. I'm there every 2 weeks to drop off and pick up. 90% of my dry cleaning bill can be attributed to clothes for work. So when I decided to have a pair of leather and cotton pants with the matching jacket cleaned (which I consider "going out" clothes) it wasn't hard for me to remember that these items were on a certain ticket. Hang on - I'm going somewhere with this folks. I go in on a Thursday like I normally do. Pay, drop off, pick up and leave. Two days later as I was removing the plastic and wire hangers (YUP! NO WIRE HANGERS ALLOWED IN MY CLOSET). I discover that the leather outfit is MIA. No prob. I'll stop by on my way to work tomorrow. I go in. I explained what must have occurred. Then I'm told "go home and check again. It's impossible for us to make a mistake. We count all the pieces". Me - blank stare. "Say what now. Go home and check again?" Deep breathe. I thought to myself "let's not end up on the local news". I don't want to perpetuate the stereotype of a Black person acting a FOOL!!! I kindly repeated to him that I had checked and rechecked. "As a matter of fact I remove my clothes from the wire hangers' that you provide sir and replace them with my own. The leather pants and jacket were not there." Again, in a very dismissive tone he repeats "go home, check again". So I thought to myself. Maybe I did make a mistake. Maybe the one outfit I purchased this year to wear out to a party is somewhere nestled between some other items in my closet. Maybe I did make a mistake when I carefully counted the pieces (last night and this morning). (TOTAL SARCASM.) So before I went HAM I decided to just leave and check again once I returned home from work. GUESS WHAT EVERYONE!!! DRUM ROLL . . . . . . NO FREAKIN' PANTS OR JACKET. Instead of wasting more time and gas I decided to call. I was then informed "we made a mistake. We were told that you needed to sign a consent form for leather clothes. We removed your pieces but didn't remember to include them when you picked your order up". Now I have to drive back to the cleaners (third day in a row people) to pick up my clothes that I told them they had all along. Instead of the person that was helping me stop and say "let me check" he decided to inconvenience a loyal customer and piss me off in the mean time. He never apologized for his tone or being wrong. The woman that works here did apologize but it was water under the bridge. Is an apology from someone that didn't do anything worth much anyway? Not really. In the end my clothes were returned to me and I was given back the money they initially charged me to clean them. I can say that I cannot patronize an establishment that not only provides terrible customer service but more importantly offer an apology when they are wrong - DEAD WRONG - in this case. Like the reviewer before me, my husband and I had been going to Rose Cleaners for about a year. My husband drops off clothes ever Saturday, about $12-$20 worth per week. Over the year, twice I was given the wrong order. I always received an apology from the woman who takes great pride in remembering our telephone number by heart. Okay, so although the inconvenience of having to go back twice in the same day to drop off the wrong clothes and get the right ones was a pain, I stuck with the cleaners. However....the final straw happened a couple weeks ago. My husband dropped off the cleaning as usual. This bundle included all shirts worn and previously cleaned by Rose Cleaners. I picked up the clothes and hung them in the closet. Later, my husband noticed that the inside collar of one shirt was missing all of its color. It seemed that the cleaners tried to clean the "ring-around-the-collar" but not only removed the ring but also all of the color from around the collar. The presser also burnt a hole on the tip of the collar. On the next Saturday, he dropped off his cleaning and mentioned it to the man behind the counter. The man told him it was not their fault, but ours!!!!!! (Huh!!) Hubbie came home a bit confused. I called the cleaners to get the story. The man told me it was not their fault but ours because we scratched it. ??? That made no sense. The man started yelling at me and refused to take ownership for this. I can't image how we were responsible for the color coming out of the shirt since this was not a new shirt and had been washed several times. I had to hang-up on the man because all he would do was yell and tell me they were not at fault. DON'T EVER LEAVE YOUR CLEANING HERE. IF they ruin anything, tough luck. Their prices are cheap, but they are rude and if they ruin your cloths they will not apologize or take responsibility. (Actually, I would have been satisfied if they agreed to refund the price of that week's cleaning and at least said, "Sorry about that!") read more

We've always had good luck here. They've cleaned everything for us from tuxedos to shorts to my wedding dress. They've done a great job and finished them on time read more

Very happy with my service! Very reasonable compared to where I have previously taken clothes. Will continue to use in the future!

Like others have stated I am through with this cleaners. I was able to live with the rough additude if the man behind the counter as long my cloths came back clean. However recently I noticed after I picked up my clothes that one of my shirts had a large stain that looked like burned fabric on it. I approached them about it and just like the comments before me he right away started yelling at me and said it was my fault. It was not a time to cause a whole fight so I explained quickly that it was impossible that it was a food stain because I have not worn it while I was eating. More yelling from him. I nicely explained that if you want to keep costumers you have to take care of them and walked out. A different cleaners can have my business. read more
