Why would I want to see PA. Hes not cutting me open inserting foreign objects in my body or closing me up. I NEEDEDTO SEE SURGEON. I went back the next day. As well as the staff. They all mean the world to me. They saved my life (more than once) in so many ways. Not just with my health, but the emotional overcoming of what I experienced. They have ALL (from front desk to MA's, to PA's, NP's, Surgeon's, Office Manager, etc.) touched my life and my family's life. I am a 36 year old wife with four beautiful children. My two oldest (daughter & son) are old enough to remember the "me" I was before all the surgeries and hospital stays. Which I spent more time in the hospital than I did at home. The older two children can remember every moment of every scary experience. Even one's that I myself am unable to remember. But my two littles, (daughters), don't remember the days that mama was able to hold them and sing to them, and do any & EVERYTHING with them. They don't know their mom who wasn't sick. But they are all four just amazing human beings. My husband had to go from being the fun dad to being the "do it all" daddy. And he's been wonderful about it. I still need to have a few more procedures and haven't been doing well lately. And there is not another surgical office that I would trust with my life, than this office. I'm a high-risk patient, and Dr. McClary is my most trusted surgeon and human being in general for my complications. But I have had the pleasure of seeing all the physicians within this practice. And I would recommend ANY & ALL of them! My anatomy is just a bit different than others lol! And Dr. McClary has been there from the start of me becoming a higher risk patient. Unsure if this is "in play" here, but more and more medical practices are nothing more than shells macerating for some conglomerate. Doctors are employees without any ownership or oversight for the staff. Staff turnover is horrific with least cost apparent. There is a valley urology multi-location practice than worse than this. At the…read moreScottsdale office, the receptionist Brianna was very unfriendly, also not professionally dressed and completely argumentative. Cristina who I set up the appointment with through email sent me paperwork to fill out, specifically stating so I did NOT have to fill it out at the office, trying to make things easier for me the patient, which is always appreciated but however Brianna without checking with anyone decided that I needed to fill out new paperwork because it's the 2nd day of a new year, even though NOTHING HAS CHANGED, not even their forms have changed. I did not appreciate her little powertrip, no one on earth wants to go to a urologist, no one, so there is no reason to make things more difficult just to make them more difficult. Oddly she somehow did not need my insurance card or ID to update even though I sent those in with the paperwork... I'm now with Dr. Faisal and she seems great, cleared up the issue my Barrow Institute Dr was sending me for and is sending me for an ultrasound to check on a kidney stone I may have.

Confirmed the appointment the day before. Showed up early, waited for an hour as he saw three other patients, two of which had later appointments. Went out to figure out what was going on only to find out that he was refusing to see me but was also refusing to come tell me he was refusing to see me. The most unprofessional medical Dr I have ever worked with. Full explanation: I was seeing Scott Young last summer/ fall because I have low testosterone. A couple of visits after I told him I was taking a little more than what I was prescribed because I felt the dosage was too low. He told me that he did not support that and that if I continued he would refer me to someone else. I thanked him for his honesty and I stopped and started taking the prescribed amount. I lost my insurance shortly after so I wasn't able to get in for about 6 months. During that time I completely stopped my testosterone use. Fast forward to my appointment in March. I called to confirm my appointment the day before and was told everything was good to go. I show up 10 mins early to my appointment. After waiting for 45 mins I asked one of the staff members what was going on. She said she would go get the Dr and have him come in. Another 20 mins go by, I go out again and talked to another staff member because I could hear him seeing other patients in the room next to me. She told me that Steve Young was refusing to see me because he said I wasn't following his medical advice. Keep in mind I was on his schedule for about 6 weeks and he never bothered to say anything then or cancel my appointment. Instead he saw 3 other patients while making me wait for an hour in the room just to refuse to see me. Later I found out he was told by management to come tell me he was refusing to see me but he also refused to do that. This is the worst medical experience I've ever had!
