I purchased food from this location for my students for the last day of class, and I must admit that I was very disappointed by the lack of professionalism from the owner. If you get the type of behavior that I received from the owner, where else do you go? That means that the business is subpar and will go downhill because the leader has no type of business etiquette. I ordered over $200 worth of food and he quibbled with me about not providing plates. I'm not understanding how restaurants where you order $200 or more dollars worth of food want you to pay for paper plates. What do they want you to do eat it out of the palms in your hands. The owner was very rude and condescending when he tried to tell me that I did not mention that I needed plates because he said that they charge for them if he had told me they charge for the plates I wouldn't have placed an order just as I did not with Portillo's for the same reason when I tried to explain why I know I asked, and I mentioned Portillo's he responds with "this isn't Portillo's" as someone who is multi-degreed he has the temerity to be condescending, I was well aware of where I was calling because Portillo's had more etiquette and professionalism complimentary 87351 The first thing I told him when I placed the order was that I was ordering it for my students I placed the order on Saturday. Why did they show up Sunday trying to deliver the food? What school besides Sunday school and I didn't say it was from the church delivers food on a Sunday to a college? He said I gave him the wrong date. It's all my fault. I'm the one paying and I want them to deliver on the day that we weren't gonna be there. It's all my fault a lack of good customer service. All 19 of my students wanted to leave a review to bring the rating of this place completely down and I asked them not to do so, instead, they will pass the word on what they heard over the phone and how things were handled and not go there anymore I will never order from there again and I really don't see how they stay in business with such rude incompetent, subpar uneducated lowlife responses as the ones I received and trying to find out why we didn't have silverware. I will never order from there again, and I suggest that you don't either. There are a lot of places going out of business for more than one reason this is one that I guarantee is going to have a problem soon you are absolutely, indubitably the worst place in my life where I experienced such deplorable, condescending, low grade, ignorant service in my entire life. read more

Pizza has been HOT both times we got delivery from Rosati's! I have ordered a lot of pizzas in my day and I thought room temperature pizza was the trade off of not having to go outside and get it. I would settle. But Rosati's is HOT! I feel as if I just ordered it at the restaurant. Also, the quality is great! My favorite pizza by far! read more

Order 3 personal pan pizzas 10" which the menu states topped with your favorite ingredients plus cheese only to find out they charge me 30 extra dollars for the toppings I wanted because they didn't charge me the 15.99 they have it listed for after being told it's not on their menu and never said anything on the phone about charging more. So if it's listed as 15.99 then why charge $4 extra dollars for the special pan. Such a joke. Don't order personal pan pizzas from here. Their money listings is false advertising and a rip off. read more

Ordered the Fab Four cheeseybread and breaded mushrooms. Went to the restaurant and swiped my card and was told there system was down , swiped 4-5 more times and system down , they rebooted there system called the owner, , asked me to write down my credit card info and I said No. I spent 30-45 min in this place and walked away with nothing . All they kept telling me the system was down . That was me and my family's dinner . Walking out with no food is unacceptable. If your taking orders with no way to pay because your system is down I've is poor business read more

Usually a go to for us, today will probably be our last order. Found an entire fly baked into the pizza. Called the store about it and the first thing out of the managers mouth is we don't have any flys in the store, the summer is over. Sent him pictures of the fly in question. They did give us a credit, but pretty nasty experience. read more

Great take-out pizza at a reasonable price. The customer service was more important. We ordered a cannoli as part of a delivery a few calls ago, but it was forgotten on the delivery. We reminded them on our next call, and they honored the free replacement no questions asked and threw in free delivery. 100% satisfied. Made them our Shorewood pizza go-to. read more

Great service by the young lady at the counter. I came in with my track and field team (Michigan Tech!) and she treated us very nicely. It's not a great spot to eat in, but if the weather is nice there are a few places to eat outside. The portions for the pasta were huge and the breadsticks are 10/10. Will be back next time I'm in the area. read more

I've lived in the area my entire life. I like a lot of the local pizza places and we have great ones. That said, this is consistently my favorite pie. This is one of the good places that actually makes pizza from scratch. They roll the dough, shred the cheese, cut the actual veggies, start with raw sausage, etc. If you're expecting Pizza Hut, you'll be disappointed. If you're expecting real pizza, you'll love it. Because they make everything, you can also substitute nearly anything. My favorite is BBQ sauce for the marinara, fresh chicken and bacon. Lots of places have the ingredients, but if it's brought in partially made, they can't substitute everything. I like the Chicago style, but it's not my favorite personally. A little too much sauce for me. Pan is better in my opinion for deep dish. Delivery sometimes takes a full hour, but the food showed up hot and that's what I care about. read more

Taking it down a notch. With our company closing in a week we were trying to plan one last hoorah. Our admin manager was trying to place an order for a Thursday event (this being Tuesday) and they said we needed a 48 hour notice. It is currently 46 hours....Really!! It's not like is a 300 person cater, it's only 32 people. This is our second disappointment with their catering service. I know that management don't give a crap about their service either, otherwise they would be monitoring these reviews. All of us in the office agree that Rosati's will never be a choice for our personal events. read more

I tried posting this on Google, but my review kept being taken down. My family has been to this establishment on several occasions. I have had amazing experiences every time going there, the food amazing. Unfortunately, the past few times, I have witnessed some very awful behavior that should not be tolerated. A young short woman driver with long brown hair was yelling at employees in a very disrespectful way. With me going to this place for a very long time, I have become familiar with the managers and even the owner. I would have never thought I would hear the way she talks and screams at the high schoolers that work there in this manor. I have even heard her disrespect the managers and other employees who have been there for a very long time. She screamed at them, telling them to learn to do their job and telling them to stop being lazy. When I have witnessed the opposite of these actions. As long as this driver is still working there and being allowed to disrespect her fellow employees and managers, I will be refraining from this place. That girl has no right to talk to anyone the way she does and how the owner allows this behavior to be appalling. That driver needs to learn her place and keep her mouth shut. read more

This was the worse deep dish pizza I have ever had. The crust was to doughy, the cheese was a paper thin layer, and the sauce was mediocre. This was not a deep dish pizza but more of a double crust. We ordered mushroom and sausage and the mushrooms were very scarce. When we got their the person was ignorant and didn't even say hello. read more

If We could give zero stars we would. This Rosati's location in Shorewood needs to get on par with the rest of them. This stores pan Pizza was the worst on the planet. Crust was to thick and like cardboard. It was inedible, so we pulled off the cheese which was hard like left over pizza and unfortunately just ate that. To make things even worse their mushrooms are not fresh, but from the can. They tasted like the tin of the can. Brutal experience My sister was In from out of town and was looking so forward to this pizza. What a complete letdown and embarrassment serving her this cardboard pizza. A frozen pizza would had tasted better. Don't order from this location This is a true truthful review Sorry Ron, but it's a truthful review. Worst pizza I've ever had including frozen. read more

Worst customer service ever!!!! I called this restaurant and asked Ann the price for the 15 piece boneless wings. We got disconnected. I called back and got Ann) on the line again and asked for the 15 piece boneless wings. Ann proceeded to ask for my information without me saying I wanted to place an order. My mom got on the phone and said we want to know prices before we placed an order. My mom asked for the price of the a 15 piece boneless wings. Ann did not know the sizes of the boneless wings. Ann then says we don't have a 15 piece boneless wings. My mom had to ask what sizes they sell as she did not provide the sizes willingly. Ann says we have size 12 and 20. My mom asked how much is the 12 and Ann said 11 something and then she asked for the 20 piece price and Ann did not know. At that point, my mom asked for a manager and Callie came to the phone. My mom told her how we were treated and what happen and she hung up on my mom and never apologized. My mom called back to ask for the owner and I believe it was Ann that answered, accused my mom of being rude to them and they were not going to give her the owner's name or any information. We hung up and chose to write this review and not patronize them. I promote the other Rosati's on Route 59 (which was closed on Sunday) instead of the one on Route 52 (Jefferson). I recommend any other Rosati's but this one. read more

Long story short, there was a small error on my catering delivery. When I called to report it, Calli said that the item that I was reporting to have been shorted was not included in the package. After my event was finished, I had an opportunity to check the online menu. The item should have been included in my delivery. I called back again. All I received from Calli was attitude and poor customer service. There are plenty of restaurants that will gladly take your catering order. I recommend that you go to one of them. read more

I should've have known I was going to have issues with my order when the young girl who was taking the order didn't sound like she wanted to take the order. And my daughter even picked up on it as she overheard the conversation. And said she didn't sound pleasant at all. She got my address completely wrong. And I found out only because I had to call them 1 hour and 10 mins after waiting for the delivery and the driver answered the store phone. He offered to bring it to the correct address and I said I would prefer it be made fresh and he said ok and we hung up the call. But then it dawned on me, why didn't they call me so I called back and the girl who took my ordered with the wrong address answered. I asked her and her response was that the driver didn't have a phone. Then I spoke with the manager and he said he did have a phone and called me multiple times. If he called me where is the call in my call logs. He stated that he was busy and needed to know what I want to be done. He wasn't empathetic at all just in a hurry to get off the phone when they screwed up. Needless to say I cancelled the order that I was hoping would be here before my husband made it home from work. I won't spend money where the manager lies through his teeth saying he saw him call me with his on eyes! How, if you're so busy?? Which one is it? Did the driver have a phone or didn't he. Either way, you've just lost a customer and I hope many more after they read this review. Terrible Terrible experience!!! I do not recommend this location at all. Very frustrating!!! I started to order from the other Rosati's nearby but I'm just turned off altogether even though we had an excellent experience from the Lockport Rosati's while visiting family. I'll never patron another Rosati's after this terrible experience. There are many more and much better pizza places in the area to be dealing with hit or miss customer service. read more

Solid solid choice. I usually dont do delivery. Ive never had an issue with pickup time or with quality. The staff here is always polite and kind when I pick up. The photos I've attached explain all. I would be delighted to remove these if the owner had offered any form of compensation at all for our (and our 60 guests) over cooked chicken. I'm aware there are certain guidelines and health codes for cooking meats. I have had their chicken at a previous party and it was EXCELLENT. I am actually the one that recommended we cater from them. However, the chicken at the party did not meet my expectations compared to the previous chicken I've had from here. Be wearying of catering from here. read more

Awesome awesome awesome the place the people and definitely the food I definitely keep going there and also telling everyone

I received a pizza that was wrong, so I asked the driver to call the store and he did and told me he was going to go back and get it fixed. About fifteen minutes later I received a call from Jose the Manager stating that I had called back after my initial order and said I wanted to change it. This was not the case, he argued with me and told me I was lying. I asked him to just cancel the order and he yelled "I'm cancelling the order!" And hung up the phone. My family and I have been long time customers of this store, we have catered from there many times along with ordering pizza at least once a month. I will no longer be using this restaurant for anything. read more

Spent $50 on pizza and got absolutely everything wrong ordered a bacon Italian sausage and got a olives and onions pizza like whaaat

I called in my order and came into pick it up. As I was walking up another customer was returning a pizza and instead of disposing the pizza they put it back in the oven to keep warm. When I asked for my order they gave me the very same pizza that the customer return seconds earlier. I did not want the pizza because there is no telling what someone could have done to it in the short time they had it. I feel it's unsanitary for an establishment to take food back and sell it to another customer. At McDonalds when you return food it immediately goes right in the garage as it should. I don't trust this establishment, no telling what other unsanitary things they are doing in this place. I'll take my business elsewhere even though I have to travel further. read more

I checked their website to see if they offered meatball on a pizza, which was stated under toppings. I was contemplating ordering a Groupon. After ordering the Groupon and calling to place my order, the guy was very rude and tried to correct me by saying I wanted Ground beef. I mentioned their website listing meatballs as a pizza ingredient and he started going on about how it wasn't cost effective and he's never seen that done. I've never had an issue when going to other pizza establishments. I'll skip Rosati's I guess. read more

When we moved to the Plainfield area 10 years ago, the first pizza we had here was from Rosati's (the Route 59 location). 10 years later, it's still one of our favorites. One unique thing about Rosati's is that both their thin crust and their pan pizzas are very good. Most pizza places specialize in one or the other. read more

Ordered one a weekly basis. Last week ordered and picked up and pizza had a very little sauce on the middle 4 slices and the rest of the 20" pizza was cheese and crust. We called and were told they were closing our pizza was the last for the evening. I asked if the didn't want to open a sauce and was told they will credit me for the pizza and the next one is on the house. Well I called this evening and was told that the best they could do was a $5 dollar coupon. I have a $5 coupon everytime I order. Well they lost our weekly business. I've had Rosati's before and it's decent, nothing to complain about or get excited about. This is the first time I ordered their deep dish and I was not happy. It wasn't deep dish at all! It was a lot of crust and some cheese. I even ordered extra cheese and it was still just a thick crusted normal pizza. Very disappointing and I'll never order it again. Second time ordering from here, first time was a delight. However, I ordered a Chicken Parmigiana Pasta meanwhile the lady put in a Chicken Parmigiana Sandwhich. We called them to ask if we can get the pasta we ordered, we explained and the lady on the phone put us on hold for about a minute. She then put another woman on the phone who then asked how can I help you, to which we responded we were put on hold. She then put us on hold and then hung up on us. We called back to which the lady responded if we wanted a credit "or something" no we want our food! lol. she said she'll deliver us the food. I just wish they could've handled it more professionally rather than just hanging up on me. read more

Extremely dissatisfied with a salad recently ordered from here. Salad was supposed to include grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, mushroom, cabbage, carrot, pepper, and onion. I used to be a big fan of rosati's at their mokena/Frankfort location but the Shorewood one sucks. I walked in and placed a very simple order, tomato bread and a meatball sandwich. Apparently they don't serve tomato bread anymore (garlic bread with sliced tomato on top with melted mozzarella). She said pizza bread is practically the same. It's not. It's terrible and messy and not worth the 30 minutes I sat in their blazing hot takeout location waiting forever for my order. Will not be going back. read more
