The food is good and I always wonder why do don't eat there often. This is why; we get Italian Beef sandwiches and the au jus melts the little containers and spills everywhere. Ordered the gluten free thin crust pizza with roast beef, black olive and pineapple she it was AWESOME. Crust had a delicious caramelized edge and the toppings were perfectly portioned. Truly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. My wife had the spaghetti and it was delicious. The sauce was sweet and fresh and the entire meal was great. I've always had a great awesome experience. Their service is great. The volume of the TVs aren't that loud. There is captions on the TV. If you wanted to watch or listen they don't allow you to bring your own cup in due to the law or bring your because they're afraid of bringing someone else's alcohol into their facility But but l but very good place to have a conversation. Decent Rosati's. Had the white pizza. Its good! For times, when you dont want red sauce. Nice beer selection. I found an old friend while I waited for my pizza to be made. My old friend? First off, for those that have not been there in a while, come back. They leased out the open space that was next door and added multiple tables and seating. I am from the Chicago area and I have been eating Rosati's pizza since they started long ago in the suburbs. As for the Rochelle location, the manager and now wife, are two of the hardest working people I have ever watched in a restaurant. The pizza is always fantastic. Their pastas are tasty and we love the pizza dough bites. I can't say how happy I am that I can finally have a taste of Chicago in a pizza 70 miles away. Great job! read more

Last time updating, excessively late deliveries again 10-15 mins late three times in a row. Whoever I spoke with on the phone had the audacity to tell me if I want it on time I have to call my order in. Apparently putting it online over an hour early isn't priority. No refund or anything "because the order was online" service I received was an absolute joke. I told them to keep the food. Ordered about 1X a week from them will be no longer. read more

Update- the manager spoke to us and was very helpful and nice. Said they are absolutely sorry for the experience and helped us. I absolutely had the worst service from our waitress. I will not state her name for that will be between the company and us. We had ordered and she never came to check on us and my father in law went up and said "hey so nobody checks on us, what does it take to get a beer?" And she snapped and said. "Well I am busy and the only one working right now." (As we only saw her in the bar area cleaning up and talking to the one guy at the bar.) she turned grabbed the beer and slammed it on the counter and my father in law said "oh sorry we have been waiting and didn't know." Then she went to get out food and tossed everything down on the table and walked away fast. Then came back said you need plates and I said "yes please." Then she came back and tossed those down as well and walked away. I ordered 12 wings half plain and rest mild. The other waitress came over and asked nicely if I needed anything and and I told her about our wings and then the rude waitress came back over and and said my wings were messed up and accidentally put sauce on all them they would fix it. I said that is fine I wasn't upset but then she forgot until we were all done eating and when we were asking for a box she then brought them and I said no I don't want them now everyone was done eating and I said I needed to get them taken off, she said "well you ordered them so you have to pay" and I said "We didn't get them with dinner and would like to speak to a manager" and she said "absolutely not you all were being rude and you need to pay and get out of MY restaurant or I am calling the cops." I have a 5 year old who then was all worried asking why is she calling the cops and freaking out as she's still raising her voice at us over what happened. As my husband then noticed our son freaking out and then me getting upset as well as our parents in law and said to everyone "Okay everyone just stop this is out of hand and we will just pay and call tomorrow." And the rude waitress continued to raise her voice at us and he looked at her and said "can we just stop? We will get boxes and pay and call tomorrow." She finally stoped raising her voice and gave us boxes. So At the end when my father in law went up to pay her said, "I'm sorry your working alone and management placed you her alone. We just didn't have anyone checking in or helping us." And she continued to be snippy to him and rude. read more

We have been to Rosati's once and ordered in once. Both times we have not had any problems. We knew a number of other patron's when we dined in, everyone was pleasant and service wasn't super quick, but not any longer than any other place in town and food was very good. I recently tried ordering online while in the office and food arrived a lot quicker than it showed online, and everything was delicious. We stayed overnight at the Walmart next door to Rosati's and we were very happy to have seen this place! Great bar and great Chicago style pizza. The bartender Tatianna was really sweet and very good at her job!!! Great bartender and she works there along with going to College!!! Wonderful young lady. I think the manager was there also and he was very attentive with good customer interaction. This place was great and I wish I could say we will be back.. we are from Columbus Oh... let's hope we can make it back! read more

Meh. Great (new) bartender, doing his best. Baseball on ALL 11 TVs, no preseason football. No hockey playoffs. Forgot 1/2 of our order. No sign of a manager. Young staff, trying but floundering. Weak cocktails. Food was "ok", hot, but fries didn't come until the end. They need some supervision, leadership, or this new, overpriced restaurant will never make it in this small town ! If you have to eat in Rochelle, IL, this is one of only two places I found worth trying or risking. We actually went twice in one day because the rest of the food in that town is that bad or limited in choice. Had chicken parmesan sandwich for lunch. Messy but tasty. Had something with sausage for dinner. Also tasty. Service is friendly but our server could have used a little better training ( I am being picky.). Food was good and staff was nice. I gave it three stars due to the atmosphere, not the food. Both times i was there, our food was hot and came out on time and servers did well to make sure we had everything we needed. I'd say carry out pizza is your best bet as Rosati's is the best pizza you're going to find in Rochelle. I'm from Chicago and when you have places like Lou Manati's and Girodano's, its hard to compare. Before the Rosati's the best pizza people talked about is Pizza Hut or Casey's (The Gas Station). We will be back for lunch, but not for dinner. The restaurant is cramped. It seems like they sacrificed a few table spots in order to put a "gaming corner" in. I've been their twice. Sitting in a booth is nice because you are secluded with the people you come with. If you are at a table, you are in the way of people trying to maneuver through the restaurant, the wait staff, etc. The first time, i was there for dinner, and it was really cramped, and i felt like i was sitting on top of other people. The second time, i came for lunch, and that was a much better experience. We sat in a booth, there wasn't a lot of people there. The bar is nice and well stocked, but it seems like when building the restaurant they prioritized the bar and the gaming corner, and then fit tables where they could. Both times i was there, it was winter, so we couldn't sit outside. I'd imagine in warmer weather, sitting outside would be nice and help reduce the stress of sitting on top of other people. To sum up: Staff are friendly. Food is good. Atmosphere is cramped. We will be back for Lunch, but probably not Dinner. read more

Staff needs lots of training. Server had no emotion at all. Was half way through our meal and server asked if we were ready for bill (felt like he wanted us to leave) Would have purchased desert (Cannolis, Extremely Good) but was never asked if we wanted desert. I ordered for delivery at 4:56. Didn't get my food until 6:40. Cheese on my pasta wasn't even melted and the food was lukewarm. I would have understood if they told me my food was going to take almost two hours, and if the food would have been at least fresh, but I didn't receive either. This location has changed the classic recipe. My family originally came from Lombard,Il. We had Rosati"s every Friday for 30 years. As soon as i got in the car with the fresh pizzas my whole family immediately knew by the aroma that this was NOT Rosati's. I live in Rock Falls, so it's an hours drive. I was disappointed. Next time i'm going to the Belvidere Rosati's, They make it Chicago style and don't change the recipe to save money. read more

We go out to eat every Wednesday night in Rochelle so we were excited to try a new restaurant. We went to Rosati's at 6:00 on Wednesday, Jan. 9. We were seated at a booth. And we sat. And waited. Servers walked by, we were told somebody would be right with us. And we waited some more. At 6:30 we walked out. Very, very disorganized, very disappointing. We will never return. read more
