The customer service at this location gets worse by the order. From getting told on the app your order is ready and you walk in then get told "5 more minutes " to 10 minutes later I am currently still sitting here. The last two times they added mushrooms (which I'm deadly allergic too) so I haven't been able to eat it and had to get other food. When I walk in I've stood there been looked in the face and not said a single word too like it was an inconvenience I got my food here today. It's very unfortunate this place is turning into this poorly ran company because it's such a great brand. Btw 13 minutes later now and counting. Been getting take out from this location for many years (we live less then a mile away), and had very few issues with decent food quality. We always order on line to reduce phone miscommunications, but recently we seem to always have an issue with our order. The other evening they lost our carry out ticket so we had to wait for our food, then when we finally got home, the order was 1/2 wrong and I had to go back again, I was not happy. read more

This is our carry out or delivery pizza of choice. We order a thin crust well done and since we live close it's always hot and fresh and never soggy. We will often order something else with it and it's usually good as well. This is a chain pizza restaurant, so it's solid and consistent. About a week back or so my wife and I ordered and I requested my calzone without the parm cheese or oregano on top. The person that took the ordered read it back to me and confirmed it. The food got here and there was parm and oregano on top. I checked the ticket and sure enough who ever took the order wrote on there not to add it. I called spoke with the manager who was nice enough and he gave me a free calzone on my account. I was a little hesitant because I've been told that before by this location and it never happened. He assured me it would be there. My wife and I decided to to try again and ordered tonight and again we asked for no oregano and parm. The order comes in and again they put it on and again it was on the ticket not too. I called and spoke with a young lady with an accent( that's the only way I can describe her since she didn't give a name) I asked for a manager and was told she would get one so I was put on hold for around five minutes. I figured after 5 minutes I'll just call back. I called back spoke with the same women and again was put on hold for five minutes. Someone picked up the phone after that time passed and was hung up on. I called back a third time and was told the manager wasn't in. So why couldn't I be told that before? I wasn't rude I wasn't yelling so I don't understand why I just wasn't told. The problem for me is whoever is taking the order is clearly listening and doing the right thing but who ever is making it either doesn't care or doesn't check the ticket not sure which is worse. Then whoever is checking the order before it's boxed again either doesn't care or doesn't read the ticket. So good! Just moved to the area and found this awesome spot close by! The pizza is like homemade with generous toppings. I also got the cheesy garlic bread which was super thick. I will definitely be trying more of there menu! Delivery was great too! read more

Used to be one of my favorite places to get pizza. Something has changed. Not sure if there is a new owner, cooks or staff. But the last 3 times we have ordered we have had issues. Wrong food (twice in same order attempt), burnt chicken and then over an hour on a weeknight and pizza was not even cut. The pizza itself does not seem quite the same either. We usually love Rosati's. We have had experiences with the Antioch and Round Lake locations and have always been satisfied. Yes, they are a little more expensive than I usually like to pay, but it used to be worth it. Operative phrase: used to be. Tonight we ordered baked mostaccioli with meat sauce and two meatballs (additional $2.50), fried shrimp dinner, and a 14" half cheese/half pepperoni pizza. We also had a coupon for a free 12" cheese pizza with $20 or more, so we had that covered. At first I was impressed. They told us 45 minutes to an hour and it was here in 30 minutes. But... They didn't give us our free cheese pizza. So, I called and they said they would have it right out to me. As we were waiting, my fiancée started eating her motaccioli only to see two overcooked, small meatballs smashed on top and marinara sauce instead of meat sauce. So I called again as the driver hadn't arrived with our pizza yet. The manager himself informed me that he could replace the mostaccioli at no charge, but that we were needing to pay $12 for our free pizza. Apparently they have a new girl taking orders and she rang up our order wrong the first time and gave us a $12 credit instead of our pizza. My fault? No. So why do I have to pay for her mistake. We're not trying to scam anyone or take advantage of them, if they did it all wrong to begin with, why do I have to pay for there mistake. Good customer service would have been to send my free pizza, replace my mostaccioli, an not charge me for your mistake. Instead, the manager continued arguing with me and insisted that I pay the difference for their mistake. I finally said, "Just forget it all. We won't be ordering from you again," to which the manager made no attempt to persuade me to stay, he just kept arguing his point. They have very reasonable catering prices too. Just moved to the area. Had a Rosatis near our old neighborhood which was delicious so we figured another one would be just as good...NOT THE CASE AT ALL! This Rosatis is awful. The pizza has absolutely no taste. The dough is mushy and the pizza is watery. And its not from the toppings. The onions are hard an inedible. The sausage was still pink on the inside. I always felt it was overpriced but it was not bad food. I never had any problems since I would always just pick it up. Since they moved I sometimes pick up, sometimes get it delivered. They gave me food poisoning. I ordered their thin crust pick four pizza at $20 when you figure in tax delivery and tip it's more like $27. After about a half hour after eating my stomach began hurting. The stomach pain was so bad I couldn't sleep and almost went to the hospital to have my stomach pumped. What happened here should never happen in a professional kitchen. They are not using proper food preparation standards. This is incredibly dangerous and negligent. They were lucky my pain eventually subsided the following day and I did not end up at the hospital. My attorney would have been happy to take them to court. They need to take a hard look at their practices. Either they're not keeping the food at proper temps for cooking or storage or the staff is not handling the food safely and cross contamination is occurring. This place is real close to where I live and I've tried them multiple times over the years. Most recent experience a couple of days ago was the worst. Online ordering still isn't available and whoever answers the phone sounds as if she didn't want to take my order. When I showed up for pick up, I waited a good 3 minutes until someone showed up at the counter. I've had cheap frozen pizza that tastes better than this. Blandest pizza I've ever had with their stuffed pizza and the thin crust pizza must have been under the broiler because it was the most over cooked pizza cheese I've ever had. On Saturday night we called for a pizza and salad delivery around 7 pm and were told it would be delivered in 45 min. After 1.5 hours (8:15) we called back only to be told that our pizza was delivered to the wrong home and a new one would be delivered in 15 min. After 20 min a delivery did take place but there was no apology and when I asked about it all the driver told me is that it was a different driver, so he obviously was told of the issue. In addition to lack of apology, I also saw where there was no discount, coupon, or anything which really pissed me off, so I put the tip for the driver back in my pocket (probably bad on my part, it was not his fault but I was mad). I paid the full amount but then called the restaurant to talk to the manager. When I asked him what would have happened if I did not call he said "someone called you". I insisted that I was the one who made the call and all he said was, "well I told some one to call you. Now what do you want me to do for you". I just told him that if he did not know how to handle this then just don't worry about it, I'll pay for the pizza but you have lost any future business from me. I am not the type of person who looks for free stuff as I know things happen, I only make a judgement on how things are handled after they occur. This one was horrible. My husband called and started to place an order but our daughter wasn't ready to order. He asked them to hold the order and that I would call them back in 5 - 10 minutes. I called the Gurnee location not knowing he had called the Lindenhurst location. I walked to the gas station for drinks and when I returned there were two delivery drivers there. One from Gurnee and one from Lindenhurst. The Lindenhurst location chose not to hold the order and then insisted we had to pay for it. I've been eating Rosatis since the late 70's. I believe the quality has gone significantly down. A large cheese and sausage delivered is $25 plus tip. There is nothing that makes this pizza $25. I've found several other local spots with superior taste and ingredients at much better prices. The last two pizzas I ordered from Rosatis they completely skimped on the cheese and ingredients.
