This place was so good!! If you're in the area, I would highly recommend this place. The workers were very friendly. I went on the 25th, and for their 25th anniversary this year they are giving out a free cone on the 25th of every month. All you need to do is ask for the free cone, you get to choose your flavor AND size!! I couldn't believe I was offered a free LARGE cone! I opted to go with the small. The frozen custard itself was so creamy and delicious. The birthday cake flavor wasn't overly sweet like it is at a lot of places. I went mid-day, the sun was out, and service was fast. Pumpkin-flavored frozen custard is always high on my list for fall treats. I was in Brunswick, and it was a flavor of the day. I received a friendly greeting when I ordered my medium cone at the walk up window. It was good, fresh and creamy, but with a fairly subtle flavor. Not the best pumpkin custard I've had. Rosati's has a drive through lane plus a second lane and parking. It's clean and well maintained but kind of bland looking for this type of business. read more

Yummy yummy! I think going to Rosatis Brunswick healed a part of my soul. Their creamy custard is soo delicious. No other custard in Northeast Ohio compares! To be completely honest, I got emotional trying their Higbees Chocolate Malted flavor as I have never tasted anything so delicious in my life. It is true perfection. The workers are so skilled and helpful. I also really appreciated the modern aesthetic of this store. It really added to my experience. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Very expensive. Very small potions. Only 3 flavors of hard ice cream (vanilla, chocolate or the special.) I bit the bullet out of really wanting some hard ice cream. I'll never go back. The ice cream was so soft that it was literally dripping all over the cone when they handed it to me out of the drive through window. This place is a gem. Some of the best frozen custard I've ever had. Vanilla with peanut butter sauce is my go-to favorite, but have made the trip for some of the special flavors too and never been disappointed. First off, let me tell you that I was very excited to head to Rosati's to try their "Higbees Frozen Malt Custard". As someone who grew up on the original Higbees Malt Custard I was very familiar with the flavor and texture of this childhood treat. Imagine my surprise when I got the Rosati's take on this confection. First of all the texture was off. Just plain frozen custard consistency nothing like the light airy consistency of the original. Second, the taste was way off from the original. The original had a distinct malt flavor with a mild chocolate under tone. This was the opposite. Very mild malt flavor and heavy on the chocolate. On another note, I ordered the medium size for $5.00. I probably got about 2/3 of a cup of custard. When I got the order the custard was overwhelmed by the size of the medium cup. It probably could have easily fit in the small size cup. Way overpriced for what you get. I would have given this establishment one star rating if it wasn't for the friendly and attentive staff. After this experience I will just continue going to Eastcoast Custard for better custard at a more reasonable price. read more

I was appalled to find our receipt for ice cream in my husbands' pocket. The quality of my "special" Higbee copycat malt certainly did not warrant a $8 price tag! It was watery with little resemblance to the original. Now I understand why they do not put their prices on their website! My husband also resented being asked to leave a tip for mediocre ice cream. I had taken my family there on a 62° day to try out their frozen "custard". We were disappointed for a multitude of reasons. 1. The flavor and quality of the ice cream were not up to our standards. The flavor and texture are not consistent with real frozen custard. It either does not contain enough eggs, or was not thickened properly. Likely, it contains a minimal amount of eggs. I say that because of the flavor profile. It is overly sweet in a sharp sort of way without the rich overtones present in custard. Also, custard tends to be more resilient to melting, even on hotter days. This ended up being in a near liquid state even moments after handing it to us. Because of this it was inedible. It was only 62° at that time. My kids were completely unimpressed. 2. Consistency. Because of the factors mentioned above, the ice cream was like the consistency of a milkshake. It was nearly impossible to eat in a cone. 3. Pricing - while I think that the pricing is reasonable for a premium product in this economy, I strongly feel that this product does not warrant the pricing. I should mention that we were HUGE fans of Honey Hut, and that the owners decided to close Honey Hut and re-open it as Rosati's Custard. While we were disappointed that we would be losing Honey Hut, we were optimistic and gave it a try. We are also big fans of frozen custard such as Euclid Beach Custard and East Coast Custard. I sincerely hope that they are successful, and will take feedback and try to move forward in way that will bring them closer to the quality of the establishment that they closed. read more

Save your money! Service is slow and custard is terrible! They changed from Honey Hut over the winter and this was a HUGE mistake. On two separate occasions I tried the vanilla custard. The color was very weird.... very yellow and the flavor left a very strange taste in my mouth. A total of 8 adults have gone with us and not a single one would return. Soooo sad as Honey Hut was our "go to" place and now we have no place to go to. DQ here we come or for GOOD custard then we will go to East Coast. I love ice cream/custard but HATE this place....
