On a cold but sunny Saturday morning I arrived shortly after 8am to find an already packed waiting area. This is what happens when you want the best. I signed in using their tablet. It allows you to select what service you want and choose a specific barber or first available. I selected a regular haircut and my favorite barber Matt. I was told that I had two people in front of me as well as the person finishing up in the chair. Wait times can vary based on time day or even luck. Today I had to wait for a hour, but have other times where I didn't even have to sit in the waiting area. Matt told me I could head out around town if I wanted and come back since I had signed in. I took him up and went for breakfast. On my return I waited for the second guy to finish up before I took the chair. Old Line is the best because even if for some reason your favorite barber isn't there, anyone of the others could be trusted with your hair. When I took my seat, Matt already knew what I needed done and the conversation started as if it never ended from the last time I was there a few weeks ago. Old Line is very personable and that is something I wanted in a barber shop. After my haircut with the clippers and scissors, Matt edged my lines up with some hot foam and a straight razor. Always great music and conversations with the stylists, I have a local barber I see regularly these days but they weren't comfortable with a special request I had after dying my hair so I gave Old Bank a call. I went to see Dante on a Wednesday at noon and he was not only a pleasure to talk to but did a great job giving me a Mohawk which I have gotten a ton of complements on. I've never received such poor service from a store. How bad does an establishment have to be to allow their employees (intentional or not) to pack returned/used items to fulfill an order.
