Beth as lady barber brought sensitivity to my need and desire to joy through my heath challenge journey. She described all steps: clipping, electric razor shaving, then hot towels, shaving cream, straight blade razor shaving, followed by moisturizer and more moist towels, hot and a final cool one. Other great tips were given too for "rocking my look." A close friend, already bald, accompanied me and took pictures. I was determined to joy on! The Management had other surprises in store for me. It's hard to find a decent and consistent barber and I feel a little guilty writing this since this…read moreplace is black owned but after four chances I feel forced. I've sat in three different barber chairs at this shop in order to find the right match. Each time I left with a fade with no blend (not sure if I can even call it a fade at this point) and an insane amount of enhancer to hide the mistakes made on my shape up. I've watched people get up from their chairs with lines used to fade the hair still there. It shows a lack of skill and care for client satisfaction. If I we're being charged 15 or 20 bucks I would understand why the cuts were bad but to charge 30 or 40 bucks for barber school cuts is insane. I will not return and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this barbershop. It's disrespectful at this point.
