On a cold but sunny Saturday morning I arrived shortly after 8am to find an already packed waiting area. This is what happens when you want the best. I signed in using their tablet. It allows you to select what service you want and choose a specific barber or first available. I selected a regular haircut and my favorite barber Matt. I was told that I had two people in front of me as well as the person finishing up in the chair. Wait times can vary based on time day or even luck. Today I had to wait for a hour, but have other times where I didn't even have to sit in the waiting area. Matt told me I could head out around town if I wanted and come back since I had signed in. I took him up and went for breakfast. On my return I waited for the second guy to finish up before I took the chair. Old Line is the best because even if for some reason your favorite barber isn't there, anyone of the others could be trusted with your hair. When I took my seat, Matt already knew what I needed done and the conversation started as if it never ended from the last time I was there a few weeks ago. Old Line is very personable and that is something I wanted in a barber shop. After my haircut with the clippers and scissors, Matt edged my lines up with some hot foam and a straight razor. One of the benefits of a barbershop. As I paid, cash only, I admired the Maryland decor and unit patches that adorned the walls. I picked up some new pomade for my hair and received my military discount for the cut. They also offer a discount for police and fire fighters too! Can't wait to go back again!

I've sat in three different barber chairs at this shop in order to find the right match. Each time I left with a fade with no blend (not sure if I can even call it a fade at this point) and an insane amount of enhancer to hide the mistakes made on my shape up. I've watched people get up from their chairs with lines used to fade the hair still there. It shows a lack of skill and care for client satisfaction. If I we're being charged 15 or 20 bucks I would understand why the cuts were bad but to charge 30 or 40 bucks for barber school cuts is insane. I will not return and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this barbershop. It's disrespectful at this point.
