I just happened to be walking on Main Street and saw the sign for empanadas. I'm so glad I stopped. I ordered one beef and one chicken empanada. It came to $4. I thought the price was low and I'm sorry to say my expectation dropped. I was wrong. They were so big and tasty. The beef was seasoned ground beef and the chicken was seasoned pieces of chicken. They were cooked, not reheated, while I waited. The owner(?) came out and offered me a cup of the yellow rice and pork to try while I waited. It was a lot more than a sample and so good I had to leave another $5. Can't wait to try this again. (They also use Doordash, Grubhub and Uber Eats).

Best Cubano in CT. Thin and crispy bread with a very generous amount of cheese and meat! Excellent prices too! This place is awesome.

Driving around town took a wrong turn and in the distance I found the light of this amazing finding. Once I saw this bakery I had to stop. I picked up some goodies for my family and once we arrived home with all this goodness which is now all we can talk about is our next visit to the area. He had the water bread which was fresh and very good. The deserts we had which sadly I don't have a picture of was outstanding. My mother in law said we need to buy this for our next birthday celebration. We tried the PR cake our favorite. We also had the chocolate cake it was soft and not crazy sweet just perfect. The tres leches was also amazing and not overly sweet like other places usually serve. The appetizers were very good! I do want to add everything is fresh and made to order which I love. can not wait for my next trip to the area because I will be stopping in.

From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel genuinely welcome, like you're a regular even on your first visit. The food is absolutely outstanding fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. And I have to talk about that green sauce they serve on the side... whatever magic is in it, I could seriously put it on everything. It's that good. To top it all off, I tried their tres leches cake and it was perfection, moist, rich, and not overly sweet, just the way it should be. Amazing food, wonderful people, and flavors that keep you thinking about your next visit. Highly recommend!

Also we went at night and the food was dry-ish, plantains were not fresh and yammy as u love them. Oxtail was dryyyy. Yukka (for extra $2) was dryyy. From the meat options we got the best was chicken, chicken in my (super salty) soup was perfectly cooked. Grilled chicken was great too, juicy with crunchy skin. Beans were cooked perfectly. Too much rice in every plate and not enough beans though. I really do t know if during lunch time all that food was freshly cooked and juicy and just got dried up by dinner time. I might give it another chance if I am in the area and super hungry, cos it was generously served.

The hostess at the front desk seemed visibly annoyed when we checked in. She was impatient, dismissive with her gestures, and even rolled her eyes in front of us. I don't know if it was because we were a family with children or for some other reason, but it made us feel very unwelcome. Honestly, we were close to leaving. Our kids were hungry and tired, so we decided to stay and give the restaurant a chance. Thankfully, the gentleman who served our table completely changed the experience. He was friendly, professional, and patient. He took the time to explain the menu, answer our questions, and recommend some of the restaurant's popular dishes. His attitude made us feel welcomed and appreciated as guests. The food was very good. We enjoyed the seafood paella, grilled octopus, broccolini, cheese plate, and several other tapas. The flavors were great, and the dishes were well prepared. The kitchen and our server delivered a much better experience than the one we received at the front desk. Management should pay attention to how guests are greeted because first impressions matter. The hostess nearly convinced us to leave. The server convinced us to stay.
