I had surgery on my foot previously, with another foot doctor at another office, and the surgery was a failure. Dr. Owens used and thoroughly explained a somewhat different surgical approach, which from nearly the beginning showed much better results. That's standard practice to show the patient the xrays. I was accused of having osteoporosis hence the reason the foot bone broke. There's no indication of osteoporosis nor testing. I was unhappy by the statement that "age" determines procedures when I am a highly active and physically competitive athlete. There was more but that's enough.
