Car wreck - doctor advised physical therapy.
I chose this one because it's close to home.
There was an exhaustive intake form before the preliminary consultation. Didn't like divulging so much personal info before I decided if I was going to go there.
Next - at the appointment I walked in the door & was met by a huge dog - Great Dane maybe. Scared me! One of the practitioners brings her dog to work - not thinking maybe a client is scared of or allergic to dogs.
I noticed a heavy musty smell and in the small waiting area, there was an old couch that looked like it was salvaged from a garage sale or someone's musty basement. I was kept waiting.
This place is way too informal for me. And stinky ... skanky in my opinion. I wrote a note for the PT and left. Couldn't stand the smell and the dog! I will seek a more clinical or sports medicine type environment for my physical therapy. read more
