Located in the Valley Mall food court, Rosa Pizza & Pasta serves up a variety of hand tossed NY style pizzas (by the slice or whole pie), Sicilian pizza, stuffed pizza, calzones, strombolis, pasta dinners, lasagna, salads, subs, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and baked garlic knots. They also have Pepsi fountain drinks and bottled drinks. This spot used to be Scotto's Rigatoni Grill.
Rosa Pizza & Pasta also has another location at the Francis Scott Key Mall in Frederick, which has its own space with seating not in the food court.
The prices here are moderate, but fair: a big slice of cheese pizza is $3.25 (add $0.55 per topping), gourmet slice ($4.50), stuffed slice ($5.50) plus tax. Pasta dinner combos are under $11. They also offer gluten free pizza.
Recently, I stopped by Rosa Pizza for a quick lunch. This big stuffed pizza slice was very thick and heavy to eat which had a very firm crust on the outside. Overall, Rosa Pizza was a very good choice for lunch! read more
