Stopped here on a Saturday while in town for work. Pulled up for a very early dinner and grabbed a booth. Old school interior, Tiffany style booth lights that remind you of a former Pizza Hut lighting fixture. Ordered drinks and two appetizers: garlic bread with cheese and toasted ravioli. The garlic bread was standard fare, sauce was a little on the sweeter side. The toasted ravioli was good - although it's not necessarily my speed or usual order. I ordered my usual chicken parmigiana. It comes with angel hair pasta and sauce. The chicken was good. Just standard. The pasta however was overcooked and turned to mush. I asked if I could get a replacement side pasta rigatoni and he obliged. Those came out properly cooked. For dessert I ordered a chocolate cake - which was thaw and serve. Still good. Food is more like a 3/5, but the willingness to make the pasta botch right with a replacement and service pushed this to a 4 (by a nose). Would recommend as a solid option. read more

I ordered the fried Ravioli, super delicious and crispy. The tomato sauce was delicious. I also ordered a baked ziti it was filled with flavor. Called in asking if they had homemade ranch and they said yes! The workers were super helpful and friendly. The ranch is not the best I've ever had but it is better than most. My absolute favorite place, I get lunch here at least twice a week. The pizza is always cooked perfectly, the fresh baked in house bread is always top notch! Also my favorite place for a steak and cheese, I love how they cook the peppers, onions, and mushrooms in with the meat instead of just putting it on top. I have visited Cafe Italia twice with my friend who lives in Hagerstown, MD. Yummy! They have several lunch specials which made it hard to decide lol. I ordered a slice and cup of New England clam chowder. I started with a cheese slice and added banana peppers and ham. I loved the thin crust and the marinara was flavorful. The soup was good and hot, however it was a much thinner consistency that I'm used to with NE clam chowder. Our server was super duper friendly. It took us about twenty minutes to order because we kept talking and not paying attention to the menu but she was very patient. My niece ordered peanut butter pie with chocolate crust for dessert and it was divine! I will absolutely eat here again! read more

We've been coming to Cafe Italia for years and have always enjoyed their food and service. Everything is freshly made and very good. We usually order their pepperoni pizza, which is super yum!! Their dough is always baked perfectly, their sauce it just right and they use very good quality cheese. Today we had their eggplant parmigiana and their veal parmigiana both with spaghetti. They were both excellent!! The eggplant was soft and the breading was crisp...the veal was tender and delicious. They served us pizza dough rolls which were oh so good!! My husband and I ordered doordash one day for lunch. We ordered a meat lovers stromboli and a calzone pizza turnover. Sad to say we were disappointed in the quality of the food. Being from New York I feel like I have a high expectation for pizza and good sauce. The sauce they served on the side was closer to a creamy tomato soup than a hearty marinara sauce you traditionally see served. both are meat lovers Stromboli and our calzone pizza turnover were undercooked and doughy. The sauce that came on the side was also served cold which I thought was odd. The meat lovers Stromboli contained sliced deli meat for ham... the calzone pizza turnover was actually better than that because it had the ricotta which made it tasty but it also contained sliced deli meat. My husband and I were traveling back to Florida from Massachusetts. We checked into our hotel and asked the clerk where was a good pkace that wasnt fast food to eat. He recommended Cafe Italia. So we decided to make the 3 mile drive and give it a try. We were anticipating a restaurant not a pizzeria, which is what it really is. When we came in and sat down there was a customer, who the waitress said was a regular, who was loud, abusive to the waitress and cursed the whole time (the "f" word being his favorite). His wife said it was old age, I say he was just rude and obnoxious. If I lived here I would never go back. Since we had been on the road since 8:15 that morning and it was now 6:45 we were looking forward to a cold drink. I ordered a Chardonnay, which was a big mistake as it was terrible. No harm no foul, I subbed it for a beer and the waitress had no problem exchanging. We ordered our food and were anticipating the delicious meal the hotel clerk assured us we would get. Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best, the sauce came from a can (I could taste the tinniness of the metal), the pasta was over cooked and the chicken was tough. I had used this place before for there large square pizza, since it is great for large parties and selling at functions. Then recently I went to this place curious to try other things on the menu and was not as thrilled about what I revived. All the food tasted very processed and stall. The prices where high for what I got as well. The food was also far from authentic Italian food and very americanized. Over all I would want not recommend this place as your first pick for a Italian restaurant, but I would recommend it for large portions. read more

The menu consists of "all the usual suspects" when it comes to an Italian restaurant: pizza, spaghetti, calzones, lasagna, and so on and so forth. But the food was very good, surprisingly good actually. I ordered lasagna and my partner ordered a calzone. Both were prepared well and quite tasty. Service was decent, too. Everytime i've gone to Cafe Italia, the service has been great and the food always amazing! The sub rolls and pizza dough are made in house and are of the highest quality. My favorite is the meatballs they use on the pizza. They are full of flavor and compliment the pizza well, whereas other establishments just throw unseasoned ground beef on as a topping.
