We tried Rosa Mezcal for lunch today. The service was good and the staff were attentive, but the food wasn't very enjoyable. We ordered the vegetarian quesadilla, while it was stuffed full of veggies, there was a lot of oil left in them from sautéing that made the bottom of the quesadilla very wet and soggy. Overall, most of the food we ordered was not seasoned much at all. Some things tasted like they were taken out of a can, heated up, then put right on the plate without seasoning. Also, we asked the waitress if they had any spicier salsa or hot sauce, and the waitress told us the only spicy salsa and the hot sauces that they have, they must charge for. For a Mexican restaurant, this was disappointing to hear. Hopefully in the future they decide to change that up and offer at least a standard hot sauce for their customers that is complimentary.

Beautiful ambiance tucked away in Edmond on Danforth and Sante Fe. Servers were very friendly and helpful about answering questions about menu. The food was great. Came out hot and was delicious. I definitely recommend going and trying! It will be a good time!

The vibe of this place was awesome for our monthly girl's night. The food was delicious and the cocktails were next level.

The food and drinks are amazing! Worth the premium price! I will definitely be back! It is the perfect date night location!

Mario is our Guy! We had freshly made guacamole with fresh chips and homemade salsa. The quesabirria was on point. Try the mango or strawberry soft serve and save room for the tres leches cake or get a piece to go. Homemade of course. Delicioso! The atmosphere is right on point!!!

I feel like we've needed a destination Mexican restaurant in Edmond for a long time! Fun atmosphere, pretty drinks, this can be a super choice for those who are looking for an experience. We went for brunch but the bartender said they were busy on Saturday night. I feel like that's a good thing. It's a fun time.

I got the Wagyu Burger and chose the Prosciutto-Truffle Mac as my side. The burger was absolutely delicious, and the Mac is now in my Top 5 all time Mac selections. A neighborhood gem for sure! The appetizer we order based on the waiter suggestion was a sloppy culinary mess, not one person in this group of 6 could eat it. With much delay again, we placed our orders, the salad I order came incorrectly, I orders and spinach salad and received a caesar salad; they forgot the salad my friend ordered until after the main course came and she had to remind the waiter who had not placed that order at all. My husband had to wait 20 minutes for an ice tea refill, my friend was not able to place order for a 2nd beer for about the same time because the waiter would just not come back to check on our table. The caesar salad I ended up eating did taste good, the pizza was decent. The waiter did take the dips off our checks because we sent it back, so I appreciated his responsibility with this. It was a very disappointing experience, 2 of our friends drove from Norman to meet us here and we are not able to see each other often. The ambiance was also very loud and hard to have a conversation without speaking very loud. I do not recommend and will not go back to this restaurant.

Gage, our waiter was very professional and helpful. He guided us through the menu and helped us make good choices. We started with three mule cocktails. We had the Oaxacan, the Moscow and Kentucky Mules. Everyone enjoyed the cocktails. One thing that stood out to me for my Oaxacan Mule is that the Mezcal's smoky flavor really shown through and it was not overly sweet. A very clean cocktail, which I highly appreciate! We ordered the Chef's Salad Wrap with Onion Rings, French Dip with the tomato soup, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with seasonal side of grits. I enjoyed the Chef's Salad Wrap but I would probably be a little more bold next time and get the Cortez or the Reuben. I craved a lighter choice and was more sinful with the over the top delicious onion rings! Wowowow! Hubby enjoyed his soup and French dip and son enjoy his Philly cheesesteak and grits. I would definitely love to revisit and try more of their items.

The bacon and cheeses seem to do the heavy flavor lifting but wasn't quite enough. The rest of the entrees were fine (cheesesteak & caprese sandwiches, the spinach salad). Drinks were good however they came out after the food which was quite odd. However for a group that big, they split checks and got it all right! The food was also very good-- elevated Mexican I'd say and inexpensive. I had the Puebla which was a hard taco, standard although soggy from sitting next to the chicken enchilada which was great and then the chili rellano which was incredible. Spicy, cheesy, amazing! I did think the refried beans were odd tasting which was surprising but still so much food for $13 that I didn't mind. Lastly they had a nice complimentary birthday churros celebration which was lovely. Drinks a little faster gets this five stars!

Cons: - Wait service was a bit slow, especially considering that they weren't very busy. But, once our order was placed, it arrived pretty quickly. - The chips they brought out with the salsa were stale. We ordered the choriqueso and more chips as a appetizer, and the 2nd batch of chips were stale too. - About the choriqueso, it was pretty bland. I've definitely had better. - I had to ask for salt since there was none on the table, and the salt shaker I was given was sticky on the outside...ew. Overall I give it 3/5. Not terrible, but not somewhere I have any burning desire to return to, especially considering the embarrassment of riches we have in this town for great Tex-Mex/Mexican food.

After 40 minutes I finally asked my server to physically go check on it. She disappeared into the kitchen for 10 minutes, then came back with the manager. Turns out my server had rung in a cocktail instead of my salad. Fine -- mistakes happen. What's not fine is that the manager's solution was to ask me to pay the difference because the salad cost more. I'd been sitting there for an hour. I said no thanks, cancel the order. On my way out I overheard the manager tell the bartender "don't worry about it" -- apparently already moving on while I was still standing there with no food and no apology. I turned around and confirmed my card wasn't charged. Left after an hour. Hungry. And no putting Eddies on the Do Not Go Back list. Went to RR and had a RR salad. Belly happy!!!
