I originally started my tattoo sleeve with Nico on June 29, 2024, and paid for the work in full. Unfortunately, what should have been an exciting experience turned into nearly two years of frustration, disappointment, and unfinished work.
At my very first appointment, I was scheduled for noon, only to discover I had been double-booked. My session didn't begin until approximately 3 PM. Despite this, I continued giving Nico the benefit of the doubt because I trusted him to complete the work I had already paid for.
After a long gap between appointments, I returned on May 9, 2026. At another appointment on May 23, I was double-booked again, waited over four hours, and received approximately one hour of tattoo work. Throughout my experience, there were late starts, frequent smoke breaks, difficulty communicating, and what felt like a general lack of consideration for my time.
My appointment on June 6, 2026, was another disappointment when Nico failed to show up. I later learned he was attending an event. My attempts to contact him went unanswered, including messages through Instagram.
What makes this especially disappointing is that I had already paid for my sleeve in full and even tipped him at nearly every session. I was patient, understanding, and respectful of his time, but unfortunately, that same respect was not returned.
What disappoints me most is that after everything, Nico never once reached out to apologize, follow up, or offer to make things right. To this day, I have never heard from him.
I eventually had no choice but to find another tattoo artist to continue the sleeve I had already paid Nico to complete. Thankfully, I've found someone who is professional, reliable, and finally bringing my vision to life. After nearly two years, I'm finally seeing the progress I had hoped for from the beginning.
Tattooing isn't just about artistic ability. It's also about professionalism, communication, reliability, and respecting clients who trust you with their money, time, and bodies.
I gave Nico nearly two years of patience, understanding, and opportunities. I wasn't asking for special treatment, just the work I paid for and basic respect for my time.
I genuinely wanted this experience to work out, and I wish things had turned out differently. Unfortunately, based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Nico. I hope sharing my experience encourages better communication, professionalism, and accountability for future clients.
