This review is not about the doctor herself because I was refused my appointment, but a review of their "policies". I have a pre-existing condition that other doctors have not been able to help me with, so a friend referred me to this group of doctors. I promptly called around March 6th (or early March) and made an appointment for a new patient which was today June 27th their earliest appointment. I was then told my appointment was set & it was my responsibility to find out if the doctor was in-network, even though my insurance information was given to receptionist. I missed about 3 calls and a voicemail from the office about a week prior and a few days prior; due to my work schedule being during normal business hours like most other working class people. PLEASE BE AWARE if you do not respond to their call they will CANCEL your appointment and give it to someone else! I had to take time off of work far in advance to see them. I was told on the phone today that "some people don't understand our appointment policy" Maybe this "policy" should be verbally communicated to the new patient at the time the appointment is made. Now I have used precious time that I cannot get back from my job and they refuse to see me until November! No thank you! I will look for another office that has better new patient hospitality! read more
