Don't use inept esthetician Emily, who doesn't provide service paid for:…read more It took less than 1 minute and.... esthetician Emily charged me $75 to remove 2 white heads on my face. She did a partial removal on one of them and two days later I noticed it wasn't properly extracted and called to have the service I paid for, completed. She said there would be another charge and I should have bought the enzymatic cleanser. It took years for this to occur and according to her, it took only 2 days. Untrustworthy, as she tries to BS you.

Much like all the other locations they were all friendly and helpful. During my treatments, my doctor actually moved so I got a new doctor but thankfully they had the same areas of expertise and even more. I was able to get all my treatments and then also take care of another issue that I didn't think a dermatologist could and I am so happy with the results now that everything has healed.

I have a pre-existing condition that other doctors have not been able to help me with, so a friend referred me to this group of doctors. I promptly called around March 6th (or early March) and made an appointment for a new patient which was today June 27th their earliest appointment. I was then told my appointment was set & it was my responsibility to find out if the doctor was in-network, even though my insurance information was given to receptionist. I missed about 3 calls and a voicemail from the office about a week prior and a few days prior; due to my work schedule being during normal business hours like most other working class people. PLEASE BE AWARE if you do not respond to their call they will CANCEL your appointment and give it to someone else! I had to take time off of work far in advance to see them. I was told on the phone today that "some people don't understand our appointment policy" Maybe this "policy" should be verbally communicated to the new patient at the time the appointment is made. Now I have used precious time that I cannot get back from my job and they refuse to see me until November! No thank you! I will look for another office that has better new patient hospitality!

Dr. John is a gem. Truly…read more I had a minor emergency on a Saturday after de-boarding a cruise in Ft Lauderdale. I stubbed my toe on my luggage and the entire big toe came off and was sticking straight up and down but still attached at the base. It was horrendous, and gory and painful. I was panicked and unsure what to do - should I go to emergency room? Can I wait till Monday and go to podiatrist? I'm literally in an unfamiliar city, 4 hours from home, by myself and not knowing what to do. I ended up searching for Podiatrists near my home city of Clearwater and read through a few... well Dr John ended up being like 5 or 6 down on the list and something about his profile and info that just felt right. I called and even though they were closed there was a phone # for emergencies so I called and left a voicemail. Dr John called me back within 5 minutes!! I explained the situation, he put me at ease and told me I could wait until Monday and that he'd have the office call me first thing Monday morning to fit me into the schedule. Well sure enough, 9am rolled around and they called. My experience with the Doctor as well as his office was so great. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. Apparently I have a fairly extreme phobia/anxiety of foot/toenail issues and was basically having a downright "fight or flight" reaction. I was so afraid of the pain of having to have my big toenail taken off, and afraid of the sounds of the procedure, afraid the numbing wouldn't work, etc... I was a downright wreck!!! But the ladies in the office were sweet and brought me water and mints to help try and keep me calm, and reassured me the doctor is so sweet and gentle. Well they were so right. He came in with a big smile and so kind. He explained everything he was about to do before doing it, so that nothing was a surprise. He made small talk to try and divert my attention, and was just generally a very nice man. While the shots hurt like a b*tch, that was the worst part. I didn't feel anything after that. Afterwards, while we were talking he even mentioned that if I had needed to stay in Ft Lauderdale initially he had already been thinking of names of other doctors he knows and would've called them to get me in, and all I could think was - this man is amazing!! The thoughtfulness really won me over. While I hope I don't have to see Dr John very often in the future, I'm SO extremely grateful for he and his office!!! I'm so glad that for whatever reason I was drawn to his office over the other ones. He's the exact man I was supposed to see, to help fix me up. The universe lined me up with an exception man to help get me healed and calmed. LOL So would I recommend him? Absolutely, hands-down, without a doubt YES! Highly recommend his office.

I've been a longtime customer and have always appreciated the service at the Tampa location…read more Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed. I attended an event at the St. Pete location (not my usual one) and purchased a treatment that needed to be scheduled for a later date. Roughly 10 days later, I learned the St. Pete location had closed. I contacted the Tampa location, was connected to Clearwater, and successfully scheduled my appointment. On the day of the appointment, while I was already on my way to the Countryside location, I received a call canceling it. Staff said they would follow up to reschedule, but I never heard back. I then called the Tampa location every day for a month and received no answer. This sequence of events, selling a treatment at a location that closed shortly afterward, canceling an appointment with no follow-up, and then being unreachable for weeks has left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. I no longer feel I can trust the company or its staff. I hope management takes these concerns seriously so other longtime customers don't have the same experience.
