I have utilized The ROP Shop online services a few times over the last year or so. Each time the part was correct and exceeded quality expectations. On top of that, the parts actually shipped same day! Extremely competitive pricing, outstanding customer service, what more can be said? In these days where customer service seems to be a thing of the past ROP delivers! Then I took the time to read about the company. Such community service is exceptional in our country today when BIG BOX stores are taking over everything and profit is the master. TRULY IMPRESSIVE!!!!! read more

I did get a response from ROP shop here is part of the email. "I'm sorry to hear that you've had a problem with that key. We actually only carry one key for pressure washers, so we couldn't have accidentally sent the wrong one. It is unusual that the longer side (which you measured as .21") was too small. The industry standard is 3/16" x 3/16" (.1875" x .1875"). We have ours made slightly longer on one edge than the other to help account for worn down key slots on older, heavily used engines. Can I ask if you flipped the key on the other side (rotate 90-degree) to see if that works for you? " If you look at this answer you can see that they have no clue on how things work. They tell me they send the standard key 3/16 x 3/16 and did I turn it around, well of course I did and it didn't work, but if they were 3/16x3/16 it wouldn't have mattered turning it around. Unfortunately the groove is 3/16 but the height is 1/4" anything less and it just spins over the shaft. read more

I recently purchased a carburetor for a rotor tiller off the ROP Shop that matched the carburetor Walbro identification numbers off it. When I received it it was defective leaking gas internally so I email them to replace it. They stated they had to have an engine serial number off the tiller to honor a return, refund, or replacement. I told them the original model number/serial number id plate was missing or illegible. The part numbers on the carb matched, but they wouldn't honor their written policy regardless of my issue. It was fine for them to sell me this product without Id numbers, but it wasn't fine for them to refund me 60 dollars after sending me a worthless carburetor. Do not patronize this store, they are not customer or service friendly at all. read more

Ordered snow blower chains and one of the sets had a missing tensioner. Customer service would not pay for the return nor send me a new set with all the parts needed to function properly. Spend you money else where. read more

I was in need of a part for my mower. All parts dealers said part I needed was on back order. Melissa was able to find the part for me through The ROP Shop! Thank you Melissa for your persistence in finding the part! read more

I ordered a Briggs & Stratton carburetor P/N 491026 for engine model # 253707-0159-01 I received it well packaged and undamaged. I installed it on my 11 HP Briggs % Stratton engine and it was a perfect fit. My air cleaner stud was a 10-32 thread so it was a perfect fit out of the box. The engine ran like it was brand new! I read some reviews where users had 1/4-28 thread studs and they had to drill and tap the hole in the bottom of the bowl to get it to fit. If you have a 1/4-28 stud you could either replace it with a 6" long 10-32 piece of all thread and put a wing nut on the end. Or drill it out for 1/4-28 and run a 1/4-28 self tapping screw into the bottom side of the bowl to cut threads in it if you don't have a tap and die set, use a drop of oil on the threads to make the tapping cleaner. read more

I needed a carburetor for an Echo string trimmer. Quick Google search brought Walmart up as the cheapest direct replacement. The part was sourced and shipped from The ROP Shop and I was a little skeptical, but pulled the trigger on it because the price was right (about $17 w/shipping and taxes). The shipment arrived three days early! The part was new in the box, had an extra primer bulb and two different gaskets. It installed easily and, once I filled the fuel tank, the trimmer started right up and rand perfectly. I'll definitely keep The ROP Shop in my mental Rolodex of places to find what I need when working on lawn and garden equipment. read more

My review is based on the quality of their products, their service was good and they did refund me,,but they listed a pressure washer pump as "new" and not sure if they know their not or just trying to make a sale,,,pump "WAS NOT NEW" this thing was not new, look like it had been rebuilt, really poor rebuilt job, it had grease stains, Teflon tape on the treads, was beat up/marked on the outside of the body,,,did return for a refund,,,but what a waste of time, and disappointment. read more

It's nice to do business with a company who ships to Alaska at a reasonable price. On top of that, I received the parts I ordered in a very timely manner. Thank you ROP Shop. read more

Ordered an 8 inch tire tube, received a 7 inch tire tube, needed it badly so tried to get it on the rim and ruined it. Too Bad, too sad.

My transaction started off well when this shop accepted a return on the wrong part. They were also helpful in determining the proper part for a Kohler engine ignition module conversion. But, after they sent out an incomplete MDI conversion kit, and the parts that did arrive were scuffed up and obviously used, they blamed the customer (me). Even though they took a percentage off the price, they still left it up to me to go find the additional parts I needed. I clearly received someone else's returned parts, but the ROP Shop refused to believe it. Blame the customer...the gutless way out of a bad customer service situation... read more

I'd like to thank you guys at ROP shop, my lawnmower was giving me hell, start but not running well, repair shops wanted to charge me so much, it would have been half the cost of a new lawnmower, I ordered a coil from you, really easy to install, now it works great, and it arrived in 3 days after I ordered it, my honest opinion is you guys are the go to place for any lawnmower needs read more

BUYER BEWARE!! This place is quite the shady business. They sold me a belt for a manco go cart that was labeled all innovations brand which is quality stuff, and then sent me some unbelievably cheap quality belt instead. So all in all they sold me a $5 belt for $15. Place should be out of business for this kind of dealings. Poor customer service could only come up with " all aftermarket parts are the same".. Then why even label what your selling if that's the case. So disappointed read more
