Our sales person was evidently the owner. She was most friendly & helpful. We exchanged stories about how we used some of the kitchen gadgets that were Antique and some that were very current. Pricing looked very acceptable. We particularly liked the are three manufacturers of stainless steel kitchen bowls. All of these were made for the home cook who starts with produce from scratch and preserves for cooks the same. We will be back here. I ordered a Briggs & Stratton carburetor P/N 491026 for engine model # 253707-0159-01…read more I received it well packaged and undamaged. I installed it on my 11 HP Briggs % Stratton engine and it was a perfect fit. My air cleaner stud was a 10-32 thread so it was a perfect fit out of the box. The engine ran like it was brand new! I read some reviews where users had 1/4-28 thread studs and they had to drill and tap the hole in the bottom of the bowl to get it to fit. If you have a 1/4-28 stud you could either replace it with a 6" long 10-32 piece of all thread and put a wing nut on the end. Or drill it out for 1/4-28 and run a 1/4-28 self tapping screw into the bottom side of the bowl to cut threads in it if you don't have a tap and die set, use a drop of oil on the threads to make the tapping cleaner.

Can I ask if you flipped the key on the other side (rotate 90-degree) to see if that works for you? " If you look at this answer you can see that they have no clue on how things work. They tell me they send the standard key 3/16 x 3/16 and did I turn it around, well of course I did and it didn't work, but if they were 3/16x3/16 it wouldn't have mattered turning it around. Unfortunately the groove is 3/16 but the height is 1/4" anything less and it just spins over the shaft.

They even have nostalgic glass bottles of pop you may not have seen in quite some time including Green River and grape Crush. Some items do cost more than competing hardware, big box, and online options, but you won't get the type of service this Do It Best store offers at those other places, and some things are actually a far better value. Their complimentary popcorn is a must! :) This hardware store is a bit out of my way, but I've chosen them a few times so far because I prefer how I'm treated here over what is closest to me. Plus, they have little shopping carts with cup holders. This is especially the place for you if you're a little lost when it comes to hardware. They make keys in a jiffy, too. I wanted to give him a tip but he refused many times and later texted me a nice message: "someone came into the store with a T-shirt that said 'Kindness is Free'. That is how I roll." What a great guy and manager! I feel so lucky and happy, as a total stranger, to have been given this friendly treatment. Thank you. It has a very large garden section, with plenty of trees, plants, and flowers to choose from. Also plenty of decorations as well to beautify your yard. We purchased a few flowering plants, while here. We think we got some good deals while here. We also went inside and checked out the gas grills as ours has seen better days through constant use. We think we can still get another years worth of use out of it, but will probably have to come back next year to buy one. No lines at all during checkout, even though it was the weekend.
