I finally decided to plant asparagus after putting it off forever not knowing how long I was going to stay in my house. I ordered a goji berry bush and two butterfly bushes. My baby goji bush came in early March; it was healthy and well-packaged. I planted it in a 15 gal Grow-Bag--and it's actually fruiting, and it's only the middle of July! My butterfly bushes came around the 1st of July; both were packed with care and healthy as can be. I found room in two established containers, and planted them. Sadly, a fat caterpillar (not a monarch larva) found one of them and chomped its way through all of the leaves on one of the stems. Fortunately, I found it before it annihilated my plant and I chucked it in some weeds (a win-win, I guess). My damaged baby bushling (currently a single stem with leaves) is still limping along, but the other has settled in as well as the goji, and it is growing like gang-busters! Do not hesitate to buy from GrowJoy. They have beautiful and healthy products, excellent customer service, and an amazing selection. I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat. A++++++! read more

I don't know how I found Grow Joy but I'm so glad I did. This was my first year ordering plants online ad they look so amazing! Everyone comments on them. The plants were heartier than my other local nursery plants. I just wish the plant came with a "growing this plant for newbies" page of instructions. Like what pests to look out for; if it looks like this prune the dang thing! But those can be found with a handy dandy google search, so the fact that they are growing and look fabulous despite my multiple attempts of killing them shows how hearty they are - they can survive me!! I received my plants two days later than the scheduled delivery date, all the plants I ordered were dry as a desert; two were nearly dead. The plant height was much shorter than the advertised height, and the plants were clearly grown underneath trays of other plants, as all of them grew downward and all leaves were bent downward. At least one plant died within hours of opening the box, unknown about the others. For the price charged, the delivery, quality or lack of quality, and receiving some plants clearly dying - was a rip off. I do not recommend ordering from this firm, I will never order from them again. read more

I have been a loyal customer of GROWJOY. This past season has been disastrous. My orders arrived incomplete and some plants DOA. I have called and no one answers. I just called again and I get the voice message that GROWJOY is not taking calls. I was advised to email them. I have done this also. No response. Never. Nothing. I even went to YouTube and found a recorded message from one of the owners (since deleted) that described their ruinous move to Alabama. They had their contractor run away, never completing their building project. They also had hiring problems with employees leaving before and during the season. I feel bad for them, but they should have hired a professional damage control expert. I have asked for a refund or reshipment of one of my $50 orders, So far, no response. I will now make a complaint to the BBB. I will not likely ever order from them again. What a fiasco this has been! Shameful, actually. They had a thriving business and they let it sink. STILL NO VEGGIE PLANTS! I would give Zero stars if I could. I've been ordering for nearly 10 years. In January 2021, I ordered more than $260 worth of vegetable plants that at the time would ship end of May 2021. Middle of May I tried to communicate to see when shipping. Like everyone else I could not talk with anyone because their voicemail was full, no reply to email or Facebook posts and messages, just radio silence. I finally received an email indicating shipped on June 14th. Mind you I live in NW Wisconsin, the 2.5 weeks delay of shipping reduces the growing time here because by end of August we are done. Many of the plants would not produce as they would if received on time. On June 16th a small 12" x 3" box arrived with a label indicating it weighed 27 pounds. It weighed maybe 1 or 2 pounds at most. I opened to find THREE plants (I ordered 39)! I searched my garage thinking other boxes had to be there but found nothing. I filed a claim with UPS who said that was all they shipped and would file a claim with the shipper. Clearly this box was labeled 27 pounds with a packing slip enclosed to indicate all plants inside the tiny box in an effort to create fraud. I say this because by this time I had sent GrowJoy at least three not so nice (but deserved) messages expressing my dislike for their service. I filed a complaint with the BBB (to date they have still not responded me or the BBB) nor have they responded to the UPS claim. Today (July 16th), they finally replied to my Facebook post. To add insult to injury said "hope you are enjoying a great growing season" and then TURNED OFF my ability to reply to them! Do NOT do business with this sham of a company. read more

I ordered four orange geraniums from GrowJoy because I couldn't find them anywhere else. With shipping to California they came to just over $55. They arrived promptly but looked small and sickly. Not what I expected. I planted them right away as directed. The pictures after a week tell the story. They were all looking very sad and getting worse. An embarrassment. In the meantime I found orange geraniums at my local Home Depot for $8 each and no shipping. Healthy and robust. Planted them the same way in the same location. The pictures tell the story. Beautiful, healthy plants that I am proud to display on my deck. Customer service was pleasant and offered a partial store credit. Why would I want any more plants from this grower. I suggest they spend less time on flooding your mailbox with promotional offers and more time on growing a quality product. GrowJoy grows the second best vegetables on this planet, only God can do better than them. GrowJoy is in Indiana and I'm in Texas. I pre-ordered 9 different tomato plants and 4 different bell pepper plants in January. I got them yesterday (March 30) which was perfect. I didn't have to call them and wonder where my plants are because even though they are only a family owned business, instead of a huge nursery, they're professionals and sent them on time. Also, the way GrowJoy ships their plants is incredible. You know how horrible delivery companies can be when they delivery anything.
