By far, the most amazing plants from an awesome grower. Everything I have ordered has been far beyond my hopes for quality and the outstanding growing results. After 65 years I've bought a lot of plants, nothing compares to Growjoy quality and customer service! Mary R. read more

I finally decided to plant asparagus after putting it off forever not knowing how long I was going to stay in my house. My raised beds keep multiplying so decided to finally plant asparagus and strawberries. I wanted older crowns and purchased 20 from GrowJoy. Planted 12" deep, no slow backfill, just filled them in all the way. I was shocked when, only 1 week later I have shoots coming up already! Couldn't be happier! read more

I have gotten plants from Grow Joy a couple of times, now...and, seasons apart, they have provided a smooth, reliable, and excellent experience - each time. I have found them to be trustworthy, their site to be user-friendly, and their plants to be of excellent quality. They are also reasonably priced, unlike many other sources. They consistently do an absolutely EXCELLENT job of packaging their plants. They do not take shortcuts. They check every box and do it PROPERLY - so plants are both properly prepared for enduring the journey to you, and completely stabilized and protected during shipping so they arrive safely and in good condition. My plants have always arrived in impressively great condition, with nary a dead leaf or flower upon them. And they always get to Me quickly, without spending undue time in shipping. Grow Joy sends instructions so you know what to do when you get your plants - and make themselves as accessible as they are able, to help if you have any questions or concerns. They are small and family-owned - but I love that about them; we need more of THESE kinds of businesses in this country - instead of all the massive corporations consuming the very life force out of everything and everyone. Just saying... It is what it is. In any case - all the above is why I return to them. They remain My first choice whenever I'm looking for plants. Love them. FOLLOW UP: The avenue through which I got to making Mine - I didn't see any other reviews before doing Mine, and can't speak for...nor do I discount, anyone else's experience. I know sometimes things happen - either within or outside of a business' control; mistakes get made, there are off moments, etc. I also know small businesses tend to encounter various challenges trying to survive and operate successfully within the shark systems of the industrial world we have. My review is simply My genuine take based on My experience with this business. And whenever a business leaves Me with an unforgettable experience - for better or for worse - I tend to be compelled to share it. And Grow Joy has impressed Me in My business dealings with them so far - for the positive. read more

Best shipping ever!!!!! Great nursery, plants happy and beautiful! Will order from them again.

I ordered 6 red dogwood plants as the discount clearance offer was extremely good, I had ordered from Growjoy a few years ago ,perennial Hibiscus and was pleased they were blooming two weeks after I had planted them , Good Stock. This order, I expected year end leftovers ,but the price was good and I can help them grow next spring, Was I pleasantly surprised, actually overwhelmed by the individual potted dogwood plants boxed securely, ,not year end but a strong sturdy I estimate 4 year old ,very healthy plants. could not believe how exceptional these plants looked. Thank You Growjoy!! Midwest Walt read more

I ordered a goji berry bush and two butterfly bushes. My baby goji bush came in early March; it was healthy and well-packaged. I planted it in a 15 gal Grow-Bag--and it's actually fruiting, and it's only the middle of July! My butterfly bushes came around the 1st of July; both were packed with care and healthy as can be. I found room in two established containers, and planted them. Sadly, a fat caterpillar (not a monarch larva) found one of them and chomped its way through all of the leaves on one of the stems. Fortunately, I found it before it annihilated my plant and I chucked it in some weeds (a win-win, I guess). My damaged baby bushling (currently a single stem with leaves) is still limping along, but the other has settled in as well as the goji, and it is growing like gang-busters! Do not hesitate to buy from GrowJoy. They have beautiful and healthy products, excellent customer service, and an amazing selection. I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat. A++++++! read more

WELL - Think alive, healthy, beautifully delivered, fabulous customer service, reasonable pricing and wide assortment of plants with pix and info. THINK GROWJOY!! Local nurseries provide a visual but GrowJoy promises are meaningful and money well spent. The only item I need but cannot order is more lawn space and garden beds. When GrowJoy offers an answer to my problem, I am first in line!! Thanks again for bringing joy to my life and beauty to my surroundings!! read more

I have had several orders delivered for GrowJoy. The only problem I've had was rough handling from the delivery guys not respecting the clear instructions on the box of live plants and this side up. The heat in late July didn't help one shipment, but I was immediately compensated. You want fair priced, healthy plants, properly packaged? Call GrowJoy. Good stuff, good people. read more

I had never ordered live plants online before. I couldn't find the plants I wanted locally. I found the ones I wanted on the GrowJoy site and decided to take chance and I placed an order. I could not be more pleased! Shipping was fast, packaging was awesome, plants were very healthy and much larger than I expected. When I contacted them after the delivery with a container question they responded rapidly! All in all I would certainly recommend this seller. read more

I don't know how I found Grow Joy but I'm so glad I did. This was my first year ordering plants online ad they look so amazing! Everyone comments on them. The plants were heartier than my other local nursery plants. I just wish the plant came with a "growing this plant for newbies" page of instructions. Like what pests to look out for; if it looks like this prune the dang thing! But those can be found with a handy dandy google search, so the fact that they are growing and look fabulous despite my multiple attempts of killing them shows how hearty they are - they can survive me!! Can't wait to pick out next year's to take my yard and patio to the next level! I'll be ordering for sure. read more

I try to buy all of my plants from small, family owned businesses. Growjoy is one of my most reliable sources for the plants I order for Spring. Well, I really got great tomato plants from Grow Joy this year. I got Big Daddy. Amelia and Carolina Gold. Big Daddy was really robust. The plants were so healthy and never even wilted. read more

I received my plants two days later than the scheduled delivery date, all the plants I ordered were dry as a desert; two were nearly dead. The plant height was much shorter than the advertised height, and the plants were clearly grown underneath trays of other plants, as all of them grew downward and all leaves were bent downward. At least one plant died within hours of opening the box, unknown about the others. For the price charged, the delivery, quality or lack of quality, and receiving some plants clearly dying - was a rip off. I do not recommend ordering from this firm, I will never order from them again. read more

My hibiscus plants arrived on time and in good condition. I am excited to see how beautifully they grow. Great service.

I have been a loyal customer of GROWJOY. This past season has been disastrous. My orders arrived incomplete and some plants DOA. I have called and no one answers. I just called again and I get the voice message that GROWJOY is not taking calls. I was advised to email them. I have done this also. No response. Never. Nothing. I even went to YouTube and found a recorded message from one of the owners (since deleted) that described their ruinous move to Alabama. They had their contractor run away, never completing their building project. They also had hiring problems with employees leaving before and during the season. I feel bad for them, but they should have hired a professional damage control expert. I have asked for a refund or reshipment of one of my $50 orders, So far, no response. I will now make a complaint to the BBB. I will not likely ever order from them again. What a fiasco this has been! Shameful, actually. They had a thriving business and they let it sink. Shame on them. read more

STILL NO VEGGIE PLANTS! I would give Zero stars if I could. I've been ordering for nearly 10 years. In January 2021, I ordered more than $260 worth of vegetable plants that at the time would ship end of May 2021. Middle of May I tried to communicate to see when shipping. Like everyone else I could not talk with anyone because their voicemail was full, no reply to email or Facebook posts and messages, just radio silence. I finally received an email indicating shipped on June 14th. Mind you I live in NW Wisconsin, the 2.5 weeks delay of shipping reduces the growing time here because by end of August we are done. Many of the plants would not produce as they would if received on time. On June 16th a small 12" x 3" box arrived with a label indicating it weighed 27 pounds. It weighed maybe 1 or 2 pounds at most. I opened to find THREE plants (I ordered 39)! I searched my garage thinking other boxes had to be there but found nothing. I filed a claim with UPS who said that was all they shipped and would file a claim with the shipper. Clearly this box was labeled 27 pounds with a packing slip enclosed to indicate all plants inside the tiny box in an effort to create fraud. I say this because by this time I had sent GrowJoy at least three not so nice (but deserved) messages expressing my dislike for their service. I filed a complaint with the BBB (to date they have still not responded me or the BBB) nor have they responded to the UPS claim. Today (July 16th), they finally replied to my Facebook post. To add insult to injury said "hope you are enjoying a great growing season" and then TURNED OFF my ability to reply to them! Do NOT do business with this sham of a company. read more

I have trimmed both plants and I love to put them in my Ice tea. I started ordering from GrowJoy this year and have been totally happy with the packaging (best in the industry as far as I'm concerned!), shipment time and quality of plants received. I ordered four orange geraniums from GrowJoy because I couldn't find them anywhere else. With shipping to California they came to just over $55. They arrived promptly but looked small and sickly. Not what I expected. I planted them right away as directed. The pictures after a week tell the story. They were all looking very sad and getting worse. An embarrassment. In the meantime I found orange geraniums at my local Home Depot for $8 each and no shipping. Healthy and robust. Planted them the same way in the same location. The pictures tell the story. Beautiful, healthy plants that I am proud to display on my deck. Customer service was pleasant and offered a partial store credit. Why would I want any more plants from this grower. I suggest they spend less time on flooding your mailbox with promotional offers and more time on growing a quality product. Lesson learned here - buy local so you can see what you are getting. read more

GrowJoy grows the second best vegetables on this planet, only God can do better than them. GrowJoy is in Indiana and I'm in Texas. I pre-ordered 9 different tomato plants and 4 different bell pepper plants in January. I got them yesterday (March 30) which was perfect. I didn't have to call them and wonder where my plants are because even though they are only a family owned business, instead of a huge nursery, they're professionals and sent them on time. Also, the way GrowJoy ships their plants is incredible. You know how horrible delivery companies can be when they delivery anything. Well, GrowJoy goes that extra mile so the delivery person would have to work real hard to leave a plant badly damaged. You can't go wrong with GrowJoy, they are THE BEST! read more

Poor QC, Substandard product compared to others. These are ALL Hibiscus. Pics clearly shows far left normal, and the other 5 are pathetic. 5 of 6 of such poor quality. Never sent complete order. their pack list even shows plant missing. As you see from reviews, it is either great, or very poor.
