New days brings new gorgeous blooms! Purchased a few plants for some family friends. I hope they are able to witness gorgeous flowers like these as well. My next purchase may be of the more edible variety. Maybe watermelon seeds or corn.

This is how the plants arrived

I think this is a very good company with a great customer service. They stand by their products and I really appreciate small business

I am amazed! First time we have ordered plants and these look amazing! Packaging was excellent! Communication by Grow Joy was just as good. Plants are in the ground and we anticipate lots of vegetables this year.

Hey, I just wanted to reach out to you and tell you that you're doing a great job over there. I got my order and was so pleasantly surprised that they were not only alive but much healthier and larger than I expected. Great packaging and fast shipping. All-in-all a great experience. Thanks so much for exceeding my expectations. You ROCK. Sincerely, David W. Counts

    Caterpillar-chomped Butterfly Bushling

I ordered a goji berry bush and two butterfly bushes. My baby goji bush came in early March; it was healthy and well-packaged. I planted it in a 15 gal Grow-Bag--and it's actually fruiting, and it's only the middle of July! My butterfly bushes came around the 1st of July; both were packed with care and healthy as can be. I found room in two established containers, and planted them. Sadly, a fat caterpillar (not a monarch larva) found one of them and chomped its way through all of the leaves on one of the stems. Fortunately, I found it before it annihilated my plant and I chucked it in some weeds (a win-win, I guess). My damaged baby bushling (currently a single stem with leaves) is still limping along, but the other has settled in as well as the goji, and it is growing like gang-busters! Do not hesitate to buy from GrowJoy. They have beautiful and healthy products, excellent customer service, and an amazing selection. I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat. A++++++!

    Just unboxed the plants

I had never ordered live plants online before. I couldn't find the plants I wanted locally. I found the ones I wanted on the GrowJoy site and decided to take chance and I placed an order. I could not be more pleased! Shipping was fast, packaging was awesome, plants were very healthy and much larger than I expected. When I contacted them after the delivery with a container question they responded rapidly! All in all I would certainly recommend this seller.

I ordered a ton of plants from them and they thrived! The price point is fair and the quality is superb. Very pleased and will use again.

A tree we purchased 10 months ago has not been doing well. It has been properly planted and cared for-even "babied" along-and still not doing well. We are not at all new to tree planting or basic knowledge, so to have this kind of issue is very very rare for us. We have inquired back with Browns 3 times now as to what we can do to help this tree make it, and have gotten zero help or answers this far. We are getting the feeling that they are just waiting for our 1 year from purchase guarantee to pass by so that they can skip their commitment. We do not necessarily want the tree to be replaced, we want their input to know to make this tree thrive better and we are not getting it. Our next tree/shrubs may be coming from someplace else. Update from initial paragraphs above... absolutely zero "customer service" for the tree, and our time ran out. We had to cut it down. $300+ in the burn pile. I very rarely give a business this kind of review, but I honestly feel that this was warranted. We played by all of their retune/customer purchase rules and guidelines, and they did nothing.

This is how many of the autumn blooms Amherst has every fall. Add the uncountable loads of other flower and plants in spring and it's a Mecca for garden buffs. Calling a place a Mecca is cliche, old hat, probably overused on Yelp. But the metaphor absolutely fits this greenhouse. First they have five full acres under roof. Secondly, it will take a pilgrimage to get there, for it's way out in the rural plains south of Lima. Just go to the middle of nowhere, take a left to bum F Egypt, head towards the boondocks of the sticks, and you'll be halfway there. It is off the narrow Allen county road of Amherst in-between State route 196 and 117. In fact the biggest neg is the traffic jam on the undeveloped street that occurs in the spring when the highly popular greenhouse attracts gardeners from all over the state. Turning in its gravel lane showcases a lovely maintained house beside a sparkling pond and manicured flower patches. Towering above are the greenhouses that seems to go on endlessly. Here a abundant choices grow under what could be miles of sprinklers, and miles of piping with plotted plants hanging down. The selection is a eye-popping plane of annuals, perennials, and veggies. Shrubs, bushes, trees, and a few rustic wooden garden decor round out their Jupiter size enclosures. They are open seasonally: April until late spring/ summer. Then they open up again in the fall selling the previously mentioned mums with pumpkins, squashes, and gourds. Daily hours are limited: 9-5 Monday through Friday; 9-12 Saturday. A family biz, Amherst has an interesting origin story. In 2002, the family started a 10 X 20 greenhouse to grow flowers themselves. They ended up growing too many so they put a sign up by the driveway. Soon all the extra flowers were gone. In response to the demand they put up a larger greenhouse and sold 700 Chrysanthemums that fall. From then the business grew exponentially. It is an experience if you dig plants and are in the area.
