We carry an extensive selection of annuals and perennials throughout the spring and summer; hardy mums and decorative kale in the fall; and a variety of trees and shrubbery year-round. We provide landscaping services from design, to installation, to maintenance--from the time the ground thaws in spring until it freezes again in winter. We also provide decorative container arrangements throughout the year, which are especially popular during the holiday season. You can also visit our gift shop and garden center year-round. Our gift shop is stocked with unique, artistic home and garden decor items which make great gifts for any occasion. In the garden center you can find all of the tools and products necessary to keep you garden vibrant and your plants happy and healthy! We sell mulch, top soil and compost in bagged and bulk form.

History

Established in 1949.

Begun in 1949 as a hot-house for growing tomatoes, Stratton Greenhouses has been family owned and run ever since.  Additions have been made over the decades, but we still grow our plants in the original, hand-built greenhouses. Today we grow an extensive selection of annuals, perennials, vegetables, trees, and shrubbery. The late '70s saw the opening of our gift shop, which is now located on-site at the greenhouse, and holds many unique treasures which make great gifts for yourself or for others. Stratton Greenhouses is currently owned and run by the founder's son, Steve, and his wife Susie. The greenhouse is their passion and they love to share it, so stop by and see us sometime!
