Well after 2 weeks of trying to contact these folks and giving ample opportunities to respond, they did not. I ordered 3 plants, 2 of which are doing well. One came in a fragile state and expired within 3 days. I inquired immediately bwo their online contact page as ell as through email. That said, I am very disappointed with their cistomer service and do not recommend this company at all. Currently an automated email is up as soon as you contact them bwo of email explaining they are busy and they will get back to you within 48 hours. Well, i gave it 4 amd still no response. I posted a negative review of this business last weekend. That was a mistake. I had ordered 10 plants and received some black plastic boxes of yellow and brown leaves. Of course, I was disappointed because I have a condition that prevents me from going to nurseries. Since that post, I have been in touch with them, sent a couple of pictures of what arrived at their request, and they refunded me. Customer service is Slim to none and Slim left town. A few weeks after ordering, my order was still listed as "processed" ( not shipped ) on the website. I filled out the contact form on the website asking about my order....and nothing. So, about a week after no response on the customer service contact form, I hit them up on Facebook messenger and NOW my order was processed to ship. Did they forget? IDK. Well, I got my order but was missing one plant....event though now the website says ALL where shipped. A really nice company! Glad I found them! I ordered and received all the plants I wanted for Spring planting. With the exception of one plant, they all arrived in good shape. I emailed Growjoy and let them know that one of the plants didn't make it. They immediately set up a replacement ticket for the plant and shipped a new one right away. So I have to tell you that they are a good company to deal with for your plant needs. As I am on a budget, I took advantage of their great discount on some plants too and I saved a bunch of money. I had doubts about mail ordering live plants but it sounded like the knew what they were doing. The order shipped over two weeks late, so I figured it was bad enough that we were going to get a late start on our planting. Late planting means less tomatoes. Then the box shows up and I discover that the really flimsy box they shipped the plants in was completely crushed in transit and the shipping company put it inside another box to finish the trip. After waiting for weeks, the plants are crushed and useless. They should know that boxes will be piled up and shoved against other boxes in transit. If you don't have enough structure to your packaging it will be crushed. I haven't received any reply to my email I sent them about it. I'm out nearly $30 for three plants that are very late and very destroyed. read more

I can't say enough about the quality of the annuals and the tremendous care Grow Joy takes in the packaging of plants for shipping. My neighbors (multiple) purchase their SunPatiens from a local garden center and they comment year after year at how large and showy my SunPatiens are. I tell them where I purchase them and they say they can't trust plants arriving alive when shipped. This year I showed two of those neighbors how my SunPatiens arrive and they were shocked to see how carefully they were wrapped and packaged to prevent damage. Each of the two dozen plants were also still moist so they could have even travelled 4-5 more days w/out drying out. I had nothing but good fortune with this company. I found them online after being 100% upset with other online sellers and big box stores and decided to give them a chance. I think I ordered about $50 in products, both herbs and vegetable plants. Ordered back in March and they arrived in late May/early June. Covid no doubt played a part in the delay, but when they arrived, they were well packed and not in the least damaged. Fast forward a few weeks and the plants took off and were growing well. This was the best growing experience I ever had. Disease-free, healthy, and tasty vegetables. It is late September and just today I was out harvesting some tomatoes from one of my plans. The herbs are still growing and contributed to many of my recipes this year. Without question, I will continue to order from this place. I feel bad for the reviewers that had a negative experience. I have purchased from the GrowJoy site two times in the last 2 months and it's been a terrific experience both times. The first was two Jack Be Little mini pumpkin plants, which came to me still hydrated and well-secured in the shipping packaging. Since transplanting them, the plants have absolutely flourished and we have over a dozen little pumpkins that we're loving watching grow. The second purchase was 14 total mum plantlings that arrived in just as great of shape as the pumpkin plants. We transplanted them within a day of receiving them and they're taking root in an area of our outdoors that has been an eyesore due to the amount of direct sunlight it receives. I can't believe how much better it looks and how it's changed the whole appearance. We cannot wait for fall when the area is full of beautifully colored mums! GrowJoy sent 40 evergreen trees that had turned black before arrival. The trees were supposed to arrive in early April based on our zone. They were received on May 5th. I contacted them immediately and it took them 60 days to get back to me. They first claimed they were shipped with too much water. Then said I had not watered them enough even though I have 300 dollar plus water bills. They charged me over 700.00 for dead trees and have done nothing. I turned it into Pay Pal. They could not respond to me for 60 days but they sure responded to the dispute. They will come on here and apologize. They will send a response stating that COVID was an issue and they will take care of you. but they will do absolutely nothing but steal your money. This was GrowJoy's response: Hello Joe, I am truly sorry for all the issues you are experiencing with these plants. As we have stated in our correspondence, we are truly sorry that some of your plants arrived in rough shape. The initial pictures that you had sent upon arrival only showed  7 or 8 Thujas arrived in rough shape, the rest looked perfect. We refunded 8 Thujas back to you immediately. Later on, you sent in more pictures of the Thujas that were not looking good after you had been growing them. Unfortunately we do not guarantee how you care for your plants and thus are unable to simple refund. We did however offered you a full refund if you would return all the plants back to us. The plants were not returned so we could not issue a full refund back. We sell many of these plants every year and have NEVER had one issue like this, so we are confident that this is not a "plant" problem but a growing issue. Obviously, I could not fit 40 trees in a picture sent to them. They say they have never had an issue like this but I have documentation where they admitted they sent two weeks too late and were damaged from shipment. It took them 60 days to respond. I never got the refund of 9 trees. Please... Please do not believe this BS of them being a small nursery that prides itself in doing the right thing. I can show pictures of trees at my former address where all 45 of them lived. They sent the trees in the heat of summer and would not respond because they knew they shipped them too late for optimal growth. I paid in March. This company is a Sham. Do not Buy or Trust their apologies. It will not bring your money back to you and in the end, they will come up with tons of excuses, but they can not hide behind their thousands of very bad reviews. GrowJoy's customer service is ATROCIOUS. As a new customer I gave them a chance by ordering 8 vegetable and herb plants. 3 OUT OF THE 8 PLANTS SHIPPED TO ME WERE COMPLETELY THE WRONG PLANTS. I immediately used their approved contact ticket system to notify them. I was told that the situation would be rectified as long as I sent them a photo of the plants and the shipping ticket (which I immediately did). After not hearing anything further for several days, I again contacted them via their approved system and received an apology a day or so later, along with an offer to send me the missing plants. Today (one week after my initial contact) I received a message that they no long have those plants, even though they've been selling those plants on their website up until a day or so ago. Would not recommend. According to their website if you order for spring 2020 the items are being shipped "now" for Texas. We received an email with a order status link but the link was no good so I called to ask them for an update on when it would be shipped. I was told within the next day I would receive an email with a tracking number. Few days passed and nothing received so I called them again. This time the lady said I will receive an email with tracking information when it ships but can't tell me when it ships just that it's "in the greenhouse somewhere". Which is ridiculous. We have landscapers waiting on a date from me and I can't tell them when to come because these people are unprofessional and unreliable. -Joe, I sent you an email 4 days ago per your request and still haven't received any updates on my order. I ordered many plants at the end of April 2020. I received some of the plants as scheduled. Some arrived either dead or barely alive. I contacted the customer service dept. and they asked me to send a pic of the dead plants. I did and received a credit. So far so good. Fast forward to June 1 when the rest of the plants were scheduled to be shipped. I have been calling them and there is no answer. I have emailed them and again no response. I have no idea if/when they will send the rest of the plants. Will cancel my order via my credit card if I don't hear from them by the end of the week! BTW, I have tried very hard to keep all the sickly plants alive. They are surviving but not thriving. Next year I will purchase what I need from the the nursery store near my home.
