This place is phenomenal! I found out about it when I went to Franklinton Fridays & one of the…read moreartists told me where she got one of her plants. This is off the highway on the way to the airport. There is a large parking lot, and the greenhouse is huge! I went in for one thing & walked out with more than 10. I hand-build tiny, tiny ceramic pots, so I'm always looking for tiny plants to put in them. Straders has only a small selection of these pots & they are $6-15 depending on plant. DeMonye's had 10x the variety of what I usually find at Straders, and they were $4.49!! I did a little dance. You can find annuals, perennials, indoor plants, bulbs, seeds, soil, garden decor, pots, you name it! I also found flowers and berry plants for my garden. The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. They said to check out their Facebook and IG for updates of what's in stock!

So stop in very soon if you want to go one more time. We've been coming here for a decade, they've been here for almost a century. It's very handy for us, and usually had most of what we need. Service was great, prices were decent. And convenience has a quality of its own. Now where will we go? Next closest place is probably Oakland, which is fine but at least 15 minutes away.

Admission was super reasonable at $12 per person and that included all the activities. They also offer a military discount which we really appreciated. There was honestly so much to do: - Mazes - Mini putt-putt - Pumpkin bowling - Photo cutouts and a big truck for fun pics - Barrel rides, barrel run, barrel slide - Basketball - A zip line swing - $1 pumpkin slingshot - Tractor rides -And so much more! The animal area was a hit - feeding the goats (just 25 cents!) was so cute and there were also a miniature donkey, pony, and a rabbit. We were a little bummed the hayride wasn't running when we visited, but there was still plenty to enjoy. The sweet treats and drinks were a nice bonus - frosted pumpkin sugar cookie + lemon shakeup = perfect fall combo! Overall, it was a great day full of classic fall fun. Definitely recommend for families or anyone wanting to soak up the season!

Tons of food options, kettle corn, hot dogs, fries, lemonade, donuts, bbq, shaved ice. They had so many activities for everyone of different age groups. They had a mini zipline, slides that you go down on a tube. Bounce pads, basketball "shooting hoops", theres little tractor like cars that are powered by pedal. Theres a corn maze, one for kids and a bigger one for older people. The small faux village buildings were very cute! And the tractor that you can climb on and take pictures. Overall 13$ to get in isnt bad for what all is included. The only thing that doesnt cover is the slingshot which is 1$ for two balls. And the paintball
