Sharon at Zen Lounge is an easy 10/10. If you've been searching for a masseuse in southern NH, look…read moreno further. I first visited Sharon several months ago in attempt to get some relief from the tight back and shoulders accompanying an on-going repeated strain injury from computer use. I had tried other masseuses in the area but wasn't pleased with their services. I found that many massage therapists don't give the pressure I'm after, and I'd leave my massage feeling totally unsatisfied. This is decidedly not the case with Sharon. She's very knowledgeable about anatomy and knows when and where and how to apply pressure. I can feel the knots loosening and breaking up as she kneads my back with her hands, arms, and elbows. What else can you ask for??! Additionally, the space is inviting, clean, and comfortable and parking super easy. I couldn't recommend Zen Lounge enough. Sharon has magic hands no doubt!

The spa is in a business building; not what you would expect, but upon entering his suite; it was cozy and typical of a spa. We opted to both be in the sauna and cold plunge and then individually go in for massages once our sauna session was up. Sauna and adjoining room were clean upon arrival. Cold plunge tub was filled as we spoke (not ice cold, but cold enough for beginners). He reviewed protocol with us and left the room for us. Massages were individual and allowed us to utilize the sauna while the other was getting a massage. He was professional and it was a great massage. Pricing was extremely reasonable and we will be back. We normally go to Fire and Ice in Dedham, but they lack an in room cold plunge, which we really enjoy in combination with the sauna experience. I recommend Ron and his spa; he is passionate about a great experience. We look forward to returning.

Serenity Spa has more services than any spa I've ever been too. It takes almost an hour to read…read morethrough them all on their website, seriously! That being said, I enjoy them. They are quite affordable, yet professional. They always run many specials every month that can be viewed on their website. Each month, they add additional seasonal treatments to their already tremendous amount of services. For services there, I've had a hot oil scalp massage, microdermabrasion, and a mud wrap & salt glow. They are a small operation, so scheduling isn't always the easiest but worth it when you get in. I've played a lot of phone tag with them to get scheduled. I really wish they had online scheduling like almost all other spas these days! I've actually gone to other places twice because I was able to instantly schedule an appointment for the day and time needed rather than wait to have them call me back. For this reason I'd take away a star, rating them a 4. I hope they read this and consider adding an online scheduling feature at some point, the sooner the better. They are easy to find, with plenty of parking in a private lot. Comparing them to other area spas, I'd say they lose a star for décor. While although nice inside, I still think they could improve on the spa feel overall. Little details can go a long way. Service wise itself, I'd rank them 5 stars. I wish you could rank them in different categories on Yelp. That being said, I can't wait to go back for a hot oil massage. They have 5 kinds to chose from based on your specific needs. They also have a champagne massage that sounds delightful!

The atmosphere is so peaceful, luxurious, clean, and incredibly chic while still feeling warm and welcoming. As a postpartum mom, I've been battling hormonal acne and congestion, and Julianna gave me such an amazing experience from start to finish with my first Hydrafacial. She was incredibly kind, sensitive, compassionate, encouraging, and positive. She truly listened to my concerns, made me feel comfortable, boosted my confidence, and understood my needs throughout the entire appointment. Julianna is hands down one of the best estheticians I've ever experienced, with such a warm and amazing personality. I'm a singer/artist constantly under stage lights, cameras, heavy makeup, and performing, and this gave me such a huge boost of confidence going into a full weekend of performances. I genuinely have not felt my skin feel this calm, smooth, and uncongested in YEARS. I highly recommend Skin & Body Spa and especially Julianna. I genuinely cannot wait to go back next month. Blush Beauty Boutique & Spa, the only reason I gave it a 3-star rating because trying to get…read moresomeone to call me for an appointment was a feat unto itself. Blush is on a quiet block on Elm Street. The entryway is quaint and pleasing. When you walk in everything looks pretty and feminine. It was very typical of what you would expect an upscale salon to be on a smaller scale. My daughter had given me a gift card so I could have a pedicure. I went at the tail end of June to get an appointment before going on vacation on July 13. I thought I had enough time. When trying to make an appointment I was told that each tech/hairdresser oversees making their own appointment...? Ok, that wasn't my experience with Anjoli from Amherst, but hey who am I to tell them how to run their business? One nail tech was consulted, and she said she was booked until the 16th of July, but the girl at the desk took my number saying that the other tech would be given it so she could call me and make an appointment. I said thank you and I left. I waited, one week, two weeks, I went on vacation, when I returned, I called and left a message. No response. Four weeks later and still, I wasn't called. I private messaged them on Facebook and got a quick response with effusive apologies, "it's not a normal practice, we adore our clients, sorry that this slipped through the cracks". I gave my number again and waited a few more days and still no callback. I finally went into Blush again, stated my complaint and requested a refund. Which was denied, because that is not their practice, however, my number was taken again so that the owner could call me. Five minutes after leaving Blush, I received a call. It was from a nail tech. She had an opening that Friday and was able to finally accommodate me. As pedicures go, Ty did a very nice job. It was a relaxing experience. I enjoyed being in a pleasant room having my feet and legs massaged. I cannot find fault in the treatment. As a business, however, I think they need to come up with a better system in order to ensure that potential customers do not "fall through the cracks". Will I return to Blush? Probably not, as a potential new customer, I didn't feel valued, plus I have better things to do with my time than to wait 5 weeks for someone to call me to make an appointment.
