He also replaced the shut off valves for the bathroom water lines because after 24 years they were worn out. I told him about the water shut off valve (the ball valve) wasn't working by the house & upon inspection he determined that that had to be replaced as well, I was discouraged about another issue but my wife & I agreed to replace that & the water pressure regulator. Look, it sucks thinking you need to replace just one thing to find out other things HAVE to be replaced, but I'd rather do that now while everything was accessible & not having to worry about if & when it does go out.
