Additional items were cheese and broccoli, sour cream, and chives, bacon, bits, and jalapeños. We also added a tray of collard greens, Black Eyed Peas and cornbread. Boy! Everything was freshly cooked to order and tasted so wonderfully! I think I ate like 6 tacos that day They were all just soooo yummy! He had such a great selection of things to order and has a cart where you can customize the tacos how you like -- he also has side dishes that would compliment the tacos! Not only did his food taste good - he had such a pleasant demeanor and offered great advice when indecisiveness was presented! Outstanding. You…read moreknow how really good food helps make for a good party? Or how sub par food can take away from it? That's why it's so important to get this guy. Fred does it all. And he does it well. Dude did his time cooking in Vegas, so he knows a ton of flavor profiles for dishes, sauces, and some secret combinations he has yet to share with yours truly. And I've been fortunate to be at enough events to tell he can flat out cook. Period. He's perfected this chimichurri blend that has the consistency and look of pesto, has this wonderfully garlic flavor, and really gives whatever carne asada dish he's making zing. I'm seriously hoping he starts to bottle it one day; otherwise, it may accidentally disappear from his cooking station next time I see him (did I just incriminate myself? oh well, worth it). Try the taco trio - good sampling of the well marinated proteins and complimentary sauces. Rinse with beverage of choice. Repeat.

It doesn't have the plastic texture you would get from a cartoon egg. I prefer my potatoes a little bitty- but theirs were on the soft side. The flavor is on point! The fruit was so pretty and fresh. Here's to Jason Bailey and his fabulous catering crew for a 5-star catered wedding experience!…read more From the minute we contacted Jason and had the initial planning meeting until the end of the night, after our wedding food festivities concluded, Jason was an absolute pro! His communication was great and his food was absolutely fantastic! People were raving about his California fresh taco bar days after - in fact our daughter was wishing (just last night) that we had his leftover taco fixings. Their homemade tortillas and fresh chicken, steak and veggie fillings were DELICIOUS! The nacho cheese, delectable tortilla chips and chicharones were AMAZING!!!! Guacamole was the bomb, too! As the wedding couple hosting this, we were proud to have J Bartends & J Gourmet as our partners in making our wedding incredibly unique and special for our guests. I even caught Jason locating batteries and lighting forgotten lanterns for us! He is such a platinum-level service caterer. His bartender David did a phenomenal job of improvising after realizing we forgot some mixers in our wedding rush ... and pulled off a miracle with our "signature" cocktail and ceremony shooters! Bravo!!! And the fabulous female duo, led by Jason's mom Joanne, putting together our charcuterie display were absolute miracle workers as well! Brilliantly creative! HIRE them to cater your next event - you won't be sorry! His prices are good and he is really interested in the details to make your wedding the perfect event! We will hire them again and again for our events - big or small. We cannot wait to invite them back

This was our second engagement with Jason and I am certainly going to use his services for future events. He simply rocks! Before the event, t was easy to plan for the event with Jason, he is very responsive and provided great suggestions for cocktails. On the day of the event, he came almost and hour early to set, what I would call, an elaborate bar for our party. The hillside venue had a bunch of stairs but Jason never did complain about going up and down several times. During the party, he was extremely professional and very amicable to our guests. His drinks were well received and so was his friendly personality. Post the party he cleaned up nicely after himself and also offered to load the leftover drinks in my vehicle. Highly recommended!

When planning for our wedding reception, it was important to me and my now-husband to have food that everyone would love. I wanted to make sure we found a vendor who was reliable, communicative, and on it, as we were planning our wedding and reception all by ourselves without a planner/coordinator. Ruben fit all of this to a T, he was fantastic at getting back to us right away after our initial inquiry, and was super helpful when it came to picking our menu. We were able to coordinate samplings, and the food was so good that we ended up having a barbecue and taco combo at our reception. Leading up, Ruben took great care for details to ensure everything was handled, and was super responsive as I sent updates. Handling the food/coordination wasn't stressful in the slightest, which was so helpful. I really appreciated the catering team's attention to my husband and I, bringing food to our sweetheart table-- I've heard of so many weddings where the bride and groom don't even get a chance to enjoy their food, but that certainly wasn't the case with our's and that is a testament to Rooster's Rolling BBQ Catering's attention to incredible service! Additionally, the food was very affordable compared to what we were anticipating-- we were able to have our best case scenario, and the agua frescas were a nice touch as well as delicious. :) I could go on and on about how fantastic everyone was, but instead I'll quote some of our guests... "The brisket and pulled pork were bomb!!! But that had to be the BEST MAC 'n cheese I've ever had in my life!!! " -- my 72 year old mother "My daughter said the tacos were bomb." -- my aunt, who had to leave early before the tacos were out (we split it up on purpose) And there were countless other comments from everyone; the food was fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about this company. HIGHLY recommend!!!
