great all good hot guys yay would love to come back and meet some couples great scenery read more

The staff were nice and professional. Our cabin however was in rough shape and needs major renovations. The mattresses are uncomfortable, the ac was struggling to keep up, and insects were coming in from multiple areas. We left a day early to stay elsewhere read more

We stayed in the Pond House & found it very unclean. The kitchen cabinets were super greasy and probably hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Someone had obviously spilled soda on the floor and it splashed up all over the refrigerator, which was never cleaned up. The kitchen light was full of spiderwebs and bugs. The kitchen didn't include a can opener, scissors, or even a cutting knife. The pans were all peeling the non-stick layer. The 2 positive things I can say is that the sheets were clean & the beds were comfortable. We would not stay here again. read more

We've stayed at the motel in the past with no issues. Recently we had a reservation and arrived early. Check in wasn't available yet, however they gave us a key so when it was we already had access. When arriving that evening the room was extremely hot, AC unit wasn't working properly. No staff on site, which they did notify they leave at 5:00 pm. Called and texted the number provided multiple times with no response. We ended up having to drive into Globe to get a hotel room. I get it things happen, but not receiving a response at all is unacceptable. To top it off, I called the following afternoon for a refund and the guy I spoke with didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Seemed completely unbothered by my complaint. Very disappointing. read more

Love this place! Very helpful staff and nice rooms. The house is large and well stocked. Perfect when you have a bunch of kiddos.

It's nothing fancy but it is clean and has air conditioning. It's great if you spend the day on the lake and want to have a shower, bed, cool off. We stayed in the one that has a small refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, 2 rooms ( bedroom, living room with tv). That's all we needed! read more

Great time as always- i cannot wait to return. The views of the sunsets are epic!! Great restaurant on site too. read more

I would not recommend staying in Cabin 20. While the resort advertises the cabins as "rustic," there's a big difference between rustic charm and neglect. This cabin was in poor condition and lacked even basic cleanliness and upkeep. There were food drippings down the wall, crumbs in the drawers, and every dish had to be washed before use. Dust covered all the blinds, the curtains were stained, and the bedding had hair in it. We ended up buying our own pillows (which we left behind) because the ones provided were unacceptable. The tile in the middle of the floor was coming up and created a tripping hazard. Blinds were broken, the sinks and shower had been painted over poorly, and the air conditioning couldn't keep up with the heat. We had to buy a fan just to make it somewhat bearable inside. There was no smoke detector, and several windows were missing the pieces needed to keep them closed--letting in bugs and creating a safety issue. The provided outdoor chairs were broken, so we had to purchase our own just to sit outside. The sofa was stained and the chairs inside were also in bad shape. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, the restaurant on-site was good, the views were beautiful, and the area was quiet. The grounds were generally clean, though not well maintained. In short, the location has potential, but this cabin needs serious attention. Calling it "rustic" shouldn't excuse poor cleanliness and maintenance. We were very disappointed and hope the owners make some much-needed improvements. read more

Clean, very nicely kept, the only thought and or suggestion would be to upgrade a few things but it looks like for the most part that is being done in faces. Awesome folks!!! Mike & Jack Burns read more

We rented a cabin for two nights and left early after one night. The place is VERY OLD AND RUN down. - The second lock on the door had been ripped off and missing. - The bed had a plastic cover on the mattress that made a lot of noise and prevented sleep. - The room had food under the furniture. - The coffee maker has so much corrosion it took and hour and 15 minutes to make a pot. - Overall it was a terrible experience. We should have tent camped! read more

great little place to lay your head after a long day on the lake ! The office guys great very helpful

Nice clean room. Great location. Shower was nice and hot. Will definitely use again in the future

Place is a total dump. I do not believe they ever clean the rooms at all. The people who work there are nice enough. Neighbors are loud and the air outside smells like burning rubber. The shower is miniature and most people won't be able to take a shower in there. There isn't anything else around. read more

It was horrible restaurant bar, not open Monday.Through Wednesday was not notified of also TV.And internet did not work all night. There's no attendant to help you with anything. After five had to drive out in town to get dinner and something eat and drink read more

Someone needs to do a heavy duty cleaning on the cabin we stayed in. Spacious room, employees were very friendly.

It is July in Arizona and the Roosevelt Resort Hotel Rooms had the absolute COLDEST A/C... STAFF is so helpful. Rooms are older but very clean. I loved the pond outside our sliding door. I would recommend this business anytime read more

The management and staff are great. The restaurant and bar are horrific but supposedly a new team will take that over soon. We stayed in pond house this time. It's roomy but in dire need of improvements. It was not very clean when we checked in either. But the porch was great to sit out and drink and eat on. read more

Nice little motel, pond view. It's nothing fancy but a comfortable room, good AC, friendly staff. Plenty of room for parking your RV/boat, etc. read more

There wasn't hot water and there was a dead bat in our room. Also the restaurant that was Attached was dark didn't seem opened only the bar. We walked in and no one said anything so we left and we heard people say " they just left " of course we did. read more

Staff was nice and check-in was easy, which is why they're getting any stars. We stayed in the "house." Every room has an insanely loud window a/c unit and smelled like there was a direct opening to the septic. When I went to bed and threw back the comforter, I found a maggot. Searched the rest of the bed with a fine tooth comb and didn't find anymore, but one is too many maggots in my opinion. read more

My family had a great stay. The room was comfortable & clean. The beds were comfortable and smelled fresh. The bath is a little small but clean and the towels fresh. It's a one pouch coffee maker but the restaurant next door has large cups. Clean small refrigerator no freezer you will need ice. Small microwave just tv dinner size. The room is also stocked with shampoo, soap. The restaurant next door has a good size menu. we only had breakfast and that was good. We will stay here again forsure. read more

We had a great time and can't wait to come back. The cabin was so clean and the staff was so friendly. Our do gs loved it too. Thank you, Devon Hutchens read more

We enjoyed our stay, we had a slight issue with the toilet backing up leading to a trench on the side of the cabin but they were able to get the plumbing working the same day. They are pet friendly and the will sometimes have karaoke and other entertainment in the restaurant/bar area. It is definitely on the older side and could use some money pumped into it but, it beats tenting it when the weather is hot or cold. read more

This was a great place for us to stay. The room was very large, clean, and comfortable. Wifi was good. We could hike and explore during the day and come back to sit out by the pond. The onsite restaurant had the best shrimp and lobster tacos. It met all of our needs. read more

Close to the lake. The price was reasonable. The room was clean. Very friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable. Large TV. Microwave and fridge were a plus. I give it 5 stars for what it is. It's a place I'm in the middle of nowhere by a lake. It's not a 5 star resort that's for sure, but It has all you need it's comfortable, it's clean, air conditioning work great there's a shower. Everything you needed was in the room, so for where it's at and what it is, it's a great place. I stay there everytime we go to Roosevelt!! read more

This was a nice peaceful park off the main stream and very quiet. We loved that there were two doors! The sliding doors has a nice view of the pond. The insides are a little outdated but was very clean! We wished the restaurant would have been open but we understand since we were visiting during the lower volume season (June....too hot I hear). The lake is within 10 or 15 miles. Loved the stay! read more

Water supply to my cabin went out the morning I left. I couldn't take a shower and had to shave without water. Not great! read more

Where to start... at check in the person behind the counter didn't acknowledge us upon entering and finished what she was doing (which didn't seem important, filing some papers or something like that) before she turned her face to us and just stared at me as if asking, What do you want? After check in we found the room to be okay. A bit outdated actually. Bathroom was remodeled but the shower head was horrific. The worst part about our stay was the geese and the heater. The heater has no actual thermos it goes from burning hot to freezing cold in that room. The damn geese were so loud throughout the night and they even knocked on the glass sliding door. Stay somewhere else. read more

Came through on a weekday in off season (February) as I cruised the state of Arizona with my sister. We're both retired. The restaurant wasn't open but I knew that. The scenery was beautiful the whole way, we were looking for quite beauty & a warm bed on a cold night. We arrived early evening to a very nice warm clean bed & room. Owner was very kind and I can imagine his busy season. Lovely place, would very much like to return. Thank you for your hospitality! read more

I want to leave an awesome review for the staff. Every person we came in contact with was friendly and helpful with smiles and nice personalities. We thought there were fire pits at each cabin-but found there was only one at the whole place. We were allowed to move it by our cabin which was great. (We'd packed our own wood.) The band on Saturday night were fantastic as well. The staff get a 5 star. The pond with the geese and ducks were very relaxing and fun to watch and interact with. Geese are usually mean little bastards that I fear-but it's amazing how tame they were. It was obvious they were well cared for and loved here. That was wonderful to see. Our cabins on the other hand were not what we were expecting, although spacious, which was a plus-they are quite dreary and boring. Dated is an understatement. Reminded me of an Old Motel 6 or even a bad Howard Johnson like feel. I was not impressed with them in the slightest. I did not feel like I was in a "cabin" at all. I felt like I was in a cheap motel. "Cabins" get a 1-2 star rating from us. The beds were very basic and I was nervous I'd not sleep well-but actually didn't wake up stiff-thank goodness. Cabin 20's shower was stuck in An upright spray position, and miserable for our friends who stayed in that "cabin". Shower in 21 was awesome. Water pressure was great and stayed hot for a very long time. However paper thin curtains and broken blinds are very unwelcoming. There was a space heater for heat-but it did not warm the place. Thank goodness we packed extra blankets. The price dId not meet the expectations, sadly. I think with some facelifts, and updates the place could be AWESOME, but if you are looking for upper class ambiance you are going to the wrong place. I would have LOVED to have been "WOWED" since Cabin rentals near water are slim pickings in AZ-but I was less than excited.. Too bad because we LOVE Romantic weekend getaways. I'll stick with cabin rentals in Utah and Colorado and chalk AZ up to beautiful scenery. If they are able too improve the ambiance and aesthetics I would be happy to return and try again based on the staff, pond and the location, but until then we chalk it up to an experience we will forever get a good laugh out of. Our attitudes were great and we made fun memories on our geocaching weekend getaway with our buddies. This was an honest review. Go with an attitude of adventure over ambiance and you will enjoy your time there. Just expect "basic". read more

Very happy with our stay at the Roosevelt Resort Park. Room was clean and well kept. The pond access from the sliding door was a pleasant surprise! Would stay here again for sure. read more

We enjoyed our stay here but I believe it was too pricey. The "cabin" we had was super small but it looked really clean (I didn't move furniture or look behind it) When I checked I was told our cabin was by the pond so we walked around there looking for it but we could not find it. My husband ran into the maid and she told him it was across the street in the trailer park area. To be honest I was really disappointed about having to stay on that side especially after I was told it was by the pond :( I feel like being secluded over there the room should have been cheaper. It's a small room with 2 beds and a kitchen.. like a studio apartment. My kids did have fun playing on the tire swing so that was the highlight of this place for us. read more
