First time at Chrysocolla Inn in Globe, Arizona. What a charming and beautiful bed and breakfast! It has a very rich history that extends back to Territorial Arizona. Very well maintained and clean with many common foyer and gathering areas. There are six bedroom suites. I stayed in the Turquoise Room. I have stayed at old hotels before in Arizona, and this one is one of the best historic properties if looking for that Old Arizona Charm. Just stayed the night and it has been very comfortable and quiet. Noah has been an exceptional and very kind host. I will be back to this beautiful property. My husband, sister-in-law and I stayed in this bed and breakfast for two nights in two rooms. This was the first time my husband and I ever stayed in a bed and breakfast. It was a very positive experience. Holly owns this huge historic house, and she renovated it. We met Holly but had more contact with Noa. Noa's partner is Holly's cousin. Each morning Noa cooked us delicious full breakfasts. The breakfasts had quiche/frittata/flatbread made with eggs and veggies. One day we also had blueberry muffins and English muffins. There was fresh fruit salad. The breakfasts more than enough to satisfy our appetites. Noa is an excellent creative cook. See attached photos. The first morning we had breakfast in a delightful breakfast room with windows on three sides. We looked out onto lovely lush vegetation. We had our choice of coffee or various kinds of tea. I loved sitting in this room. We would arrive early, drink coffee and read the newspaper before Noa arrived to make breakfast. The next morning we had breakfast at a very large wood dining room table that could easily have sat 20 people. This room had French doors that opened into a patio with tables and chairs. When we were there a small wedding party was taking photos on one of the outdoor patios. There are additional common spaces. There was a sitting room with chairs and books on the same ground floor as the sunny breakfast room, dining room, and kitchen. There is also a small lobby one floor up on street level next to the front door. (The building is on a hill). One afternoon we went back to the sunny cheerful breakfast room and sat there to read. The on-the-street parking is free, safe and easy to obtain. The bed and breakfast is very conveniently located on a quiet street on a small hill about two blocks from downtown. For dinner we walked to the restaurants downtown on the main street. We conveniently arrived on a First Friday of the month. There was a small celebration a couple blocks away on main street. There was a band in the afternoon or early evening (which we missed) and some craft vendors and at least one food vendor. We bought some cookies there. Every guest room in this bed and breakfast is different. Our room and my sister-in-law's room were on the second floor near eachother. There were two staircases to reach the second floor, and a quaint little sitting area in between. The decor in our room was cute. Our room had two comfortable double beds. One bed had a bedside table with a foot high reading lamp. Due to space limitations the other bed did not have a bedside table or bedside reading lamp. There was a small chandelier over that bed. The room had good lighting. However, I would have liked a bedside lamp so I could read at night without disturbing my husband. Our bathroom was huge. It had both a shower and a claw foot tub. There was a sink in the bathroom and another small sink in the bedroom. We used the tub for storage. During our visit there was no ice available that I could find. The kitchen fridge had a water dispenser but the ice dispenser was broken when we visited. An appliance repair person was planned. Our room and my sister-in-law's room had individual wall air conditioners. We had the Amethyst room. We put a few sodas in the kitchen refrigerator since our room did not have a mini fridge. Management did not complain that we took up a little space in that fridge. When we eventually return to Globe, I would like to stay here. read more

Most wonderful little Bed and Breakfast right in downtown Globe, with views of the oldest buildings in town and some of the nicest hidden gardens on site. 10 out of 10 would recommend staying a night or two or three at the beautiful Chrysocolla Inn! You can feel the care that's built into the walls and the hospitality from the family themselves in every details. Breakfast lovingly cooked and served in the mornings was nourishing for body and soul. The room was clean and inviting and had every luxury we could hope for. No TVs, which Is GOOD! The Stairizona Trail is fun to walk if it's cool out and a quick drive to Roosevelt Lake and other outdoorsy hiking attractions. A GEM for sure! read more

My husband and I go to Globe every year for our anniversary and decided to support the small business owners. We stayed here and were in love with the place right away. It's a big part of Globes history and the family that put their hearts into a 7 year renovation deserve a lot of praise. We felt at home here, and the homeade breakfast you get is wonderful. When we arrived she gave us "the tour" which included the history of the Inn and its renovation, as well as the history of Globe, Including a map and suggestions on where to eat and what places to visit. Just had my second visit to Chrysocolla Inn. I liked it so much the first time, I brought family back for a second visit. My family loved this place too. This Inn is located about a block off of the historic main street. Globe is usually a little cooler than the Phoenix area so walking in late afternoon is doable. We walked to dinner at a very nice new asian restaurant and then walked over to a concert they were having at the train station. Everyone was so friendly. The Chrysocolla Inn itself is really nice. I have been in three rooms and they are all comfortable and roomy. Each room has individual A/C and heating. And not the kind of A/C that is noisy and keeps shutting on and off all night so you can't sleep. Each room has its own bathroom. The common areas are large and roomy with a homey feeling. You can tell lots of thought went into the details of this massive renovation. There is also outdoor garden areas that beg you to come sit and relax. One has a comforting water feature. Breakfast at the the Inn is spectacular. Lots to choose from and something for everyone. The heart of this inn is, Libby. You will find her very accommodating. She knows her local history too. I can't wait for my next visit. read more

What a beautiful little spot! We came up to Globe for a wedding yesterday and pulling into town we couldn't imagine where the hec you would manage to have one out here lol It's located on the down slope of a hill so use your e.brake and it's just tucked away so perfectly! The courtyard was beautiful even this time of year! They had flowers blooming, these beautiful vines flowing down the walls and a fountain. The only draw back wasn't the bees because that's to be expected around all the flowers but the wasps :/ They were flying all over. They had everything set up beautifully for the reception. Some tables were inside and some were outside. The bricks and stone that line the walk ways were amazing. Beautiful wood floors that creek. The inside rooms were each unique and antique. From the smallest details to the whole picture it's an incredible little spot. We had the best table (located outside next to the mobile bar On The Rocks). The bees started coming around a lot with the food and drink out but they had some citronella candles they brought out and that took care of it for the most part. If we find ourselves back in Globe this is where we'll stay! :) read more

We arrived in Globe around 6pm and was surprised to find most hotels booked out. I rang this B&B after 7pm and Libby who runs the place was so kind and helpful. This historic building has gorgeous rooms throughout. The bed was comfortable and the area very quiet. Libby made us an incredible three-course breakfast and gave us a tour of the building in the morning. It was a wonderful stay. read more

Amazing place! Libby is so wonderful and immediately gave us a tour of the location, which has historic charm that is basically unmatched in the entire state of Arizona. Super close to the amazing downtown area in Globe, so feel free to throw them back at Jammerz or the Drift Inn and then stumble on back to your room. I stayed in the Turquoise room, and it is so luxurious and yet so rustic--all for the most reasonable price I've ever paid for lodging. Excellent for a romantic getaway out of the Valley. The no kids policy made it nice and quiet, even on July 4th! Keep an eye out for the adorable resident cat, Lucky, who is very chatty and loves to snuggle. read more

This bed and breakfast was totally amazing! I arrived later than the average guest and the innkeeper Libby was so accommodating and friendly. She made sure that I was warm enough before I went to sleep. This place was so darn cozy that I want to try and get my parents from Texas to take a little vacation here. I didn't just feel welcome and at home, I felt like Libby and her two relatives who also work at the B&B and who stopped by--genuinely cared about me and the other guests. They were all the perfect mixture of how social or hands off you wanted them to be. It's like they just KNEW when you had a question or needed some alone-time. :) The breakfast was totally fabulous. My first morning it was a lavish multi-course meal that felt rather gourmet. My second morning, I had to leave way earlier than the average guest and Libby woke up earlier to make me a wonderful little farewell breakfast. So kind of her. It's clear that a lot of work is going in to making this a very special place. Not just clean, but immaculate. Not just cozy, but practically like taking a retreat. I actually went there to work on writing and it was perfect. And Globe is such a cute town to walk around taking pictures of and gathering creative inspiration. I had one night on the town and it was a hoot. Highly recommended! I'll definitely go back. In fact, while I was there, some regular guests were there. This may be Globe's best kept secret. Holly and her mom, Rosemary, made us feel truly at home and feel like true friends. We stayed in the Rose Quartz room and consider it the best in the house. We came to Globe to attend a family member's funeral and fell in love with this place. The service was fantastic. The breakfast were amazing. The perfect mix of decadence and healthy - which is a hard balance to find! The room was comfortable and we loved having a private bathroom! The grounds are so beautiful. We stopped in on our way back to Phoenix from a trip to Apache Lake...we just found Chrysocolla Inn on yelp. My wife and I had such a wonderful experience. From the warm Friendly greeting upon arrival to the goodbye when departing it was a great experience. It was a last minute reservation and you would have thought it was months in the making. Libby greeted me by name as I walked in, then offered up a tour of the building. There is a lot of history in this building and it was great to hear the stories around the restoration of the building. I was the only guest for the night and Libby inquired as to what time I would like breakfast, we decided 8am was good, but she would have coffee available earlier... true to her promise there was a pot of coffee set up at 4:30am when I woke. The grounds are very nice, the area quite and very little traffic. If you are looking for a get away, to relax and wonder around a historic neighborhood this is the place.
